Consistently miss key ingredients to recipes in online ordering - items that are very difficult to get anywhere else. Their quality control is lacking.

Came for a visit from Calgary and needed a supplement. When we walked in it was very clean and spacious. Everything had a place and there were clearly marked signs.
Gosh and the refill station. It was beautiful!

A little bit of everything, natural, organic, sustainable, reusable, local what else can you ask for. The new space is large and open, staff is always friendly and helpful, thou it’s not the kinda place you can always run in and out of because they provide personal assistance and are so willing to ensure you get the right product and options. It is not often you find a business so dedicated to the betterment of it's greater community. I have been a customer for about 3 years but last month I had the great opportunity to work alongside the Purple Carrot team and what a pleasure and eye-opener it was to learn their story and the stories of some of their great local suppliers.

First off, health and wellness are woven into every aspect of Purple Carrot from the ground up. Not just your personal health but also the community at large. From the way the staff is treated to the various healthy local products on their shelves to their wasteless/waste free philosophy and recycling practices these incredible souls are doing so much for the community it makes you wonder how you could do more. There are not enough stars for this review. LOL

Their products and prices are fair and functionally contribute to a healthier local economy by supporting and exposing local producers and suppliers.

You are always welcomed with kindness, compassion and patience when you walk in and the staff has a genuine desire to help every person who enters the store. Not too mention, it's a place that provides unique, hand-crafted and local products that you may not find in your average market. You can tell that everyone working there believes strongly in the company mission. You'll find things that elevate your health, your focus, your consciousness and your mood. Also, they just moved to a newer, bigger and brighter location at 1120 2nd Ave South. It looks great in there. Highly recommend!

The icing on the cake is that the owners, Cris and Cathy, are some of the sweetest and most compassionate business owners I've ever met. Their philosophy echoes through their employees attitudes and in their service. Purple Carrot is more than just a store here in Lethbridge. It's a way of living a little better each day and I can totally get on board with that.

Absolutely loved our experience here. The refillery is fantastic! We appreciated all of the help we recieved from staff and the Kombucha was delicious.

First time in the store, and I was pretty excited with what they had to offer! Great staff, all were extremely helpful and super kind and I left with exactly what I wanted and will be back for more. P. S (best kombucha ever!)

This is a fantastic little store! I was very excited when Cris told me that she and Cathy were opening up their own business. I have known Cris and Cathy for many years. The two of them are amazing, as well as the rest of their staff (so friendly and easy to talk to.) They are always willing to take the time to answer all of your questions and help any way they can. Cris is absolutely awesome at what she does! I am so glad that I have her to lean on. Product selection is wonderful. After years of driving to Calgary to go to their health food stores, and wishing for a store in Lethbridge of similar caliber, I walked into the Purple Carrot for the first time July 2017 at the recommendation of a close friend! Immediately walking in, the energy was, and continues to be amazing! From the wide array of products ranging from grocery, supplements and zero waster products, their Shop Local Saturday events with 10% discount with various vendors sampling their goods, special evening classes, the helpful, friendly and lovely staff, your shopping experience will not be a disappointment! I have also been going to Cris Robinson for my nutritional food consulting, BIE, and food/environmental sensitivity testing. My health has greatly improved since seeing Cris, for which I'm eternally greatful! She's gone above and beyond in helping me on my healing journey. She has a genuine care and concern for her clients. I've also referred my friends and clients to see Cris and Kylee to seek answers in acheiving their journey to better health and healing! A huge thank you to the owners of the Purple Carrot, Cris and Cathy (whom are truly lovely), for their tireless work to create a unique and special space for all to experience!

THE BEST (hands down) health food store and zero waste store! The owners Cris and Cathy are so sweet and are ready to help you out with whatever you need! They love to answer your health questions and spend so much time with their customers! I love that they are always up on the latest healthier snack foods! You can find vegan snacks, gf foods, healthier chips, sauces, baking goods, skin, hair and make up products, environmental cleaning products (that you can refill!) the best brands in herbs and vitamins and SO MUCH MORE!

I (Debbie) have known Cathy and Cris for about seven years and have received nothing but the best customer service and care from the two of them. Love this place ️ I have been seeing Cris since the end of November for food sensitivities and other health issues, she and the staff are so kind and helpful. I think when it comes to our health there are tough conversations and Cris is so kind and makes you feel at ease, she shares personal experiences and has tried most if not all the food protocols she suggests. I often come in and get more supplements or to try new products and purple carrot is an amazingly friendly atmosphere with the best staff:)
