Pyramid Lake Resort

Very nice place, awesome staff. Food was excellent along with our excellent host in the restaurant. Detonated going to go back.

First of all, I would like to say that the hotel manager Kiraya is a star. She is professional, competent, decisive and very accommodating.

The newly renovated room that I stayed in last weekend was extremely comfortable. It has a nice king size bed with just the right firmness, a cute fireplace, a wonderful and spacious shower room, and of course a great view. Staffs were helpful and friendly. All the amenities were well maintained. I really enjoyed my breakfast too in the new restaurant. It was a wonderful experience overall and I know I will be only coming back to this hotel whenever I visit Jasper in the future. It is just so peaceful and relaxing, which is exactly what I am looking for on a vacation.

Only complaint is going to be the wifi. It was fairly slow in my room to a point where even video calls were difficult but my cell service was ok and I had plenty of data. To me, it was not a big issue at all.

Lovely one night stay at this Lodge. We stayed in the Founders Room Upper which is on the top level facing the lake. The room was beautiful with indoor and outdoor fireplaces.
The bathroom has a rainfall showerhead with a wand but was very slow to drain.
The small fridge was useful and if you wanted there was a coffee machine.
We had a bit of difficulty turning on the indoor fireplace but maintenance arrived quickly and did some magic which worked.
The view from this room was the best thing with two lounge chairs and a gas firepit on the balcony.
The restaurant for dinner is a great asset and would have been our preference but unfortunately we didn't see anything on the menu we would like. The dinner menu just needs a couple simpler basic options to meet the classic guests.
It is easy to drive into Jasper town to pick up take away for dinner super quick drive.

I was a big fan of the hotel and location. It’s private, secluded, quiet and attractive. There were tons of trails and things to do. The on-site restaurant made it convenient and gave us little reason to leave the property, although we did. I was disappointed the hot tub was down for maintenance, however, I can appreciate the hotels effort by telling us which hotels we can use instead. Overall, This was a 10/10 experience and worth the pretty penny we spent to stay here.

The people were very nice and we got some complimentary s'mores, which were very delicious. The location was stunning, we saw elks everyday and even got to see bears, but I'm 100% sure they spent their entire budget on the exterior without realizing they have to make the interior.

We booked a room for four, it was clearly not suitable for four, the room included one full size bed and a couch that you needed to unfold in order to reveal a twin size mattress.

The water tastes sweet and salty at the same time, pretty sure they get their water supplies from the lake, really gross. Not to mention, there was so little water coming out of the shower, and their soap smelled like puke.

Overall the location was a 10/10 and the outside of the room looks beautiful, but if you're planning to stay for more than one night, I suggest you find a different location.

Not feeted for more than two people (even small for two). Smelly room.
Amenities are really bad.
The exterior is magnificent but a very disapointing interior.

The WiFi is satellite based and is really really slow and unstable
Edit: unusable on weekends. Better on week days, but still unstable. YouTube could work in low res but downloading anything could be a pain.

The view is good, there is a bear family living nearby and we met them 4 out of 7 days on our way out.

Our first trip together ever, 13 years later married on pyramid Island in 2020 and my birthday trip this year. One of my favorite places ever.

When I book the room they told me breakfast is included, when I went for breakfast they are telling me it’s only for Alberta residence, is it stupid or what. Then sell room only for Alberta residence. Keep all the people out. Don’t take our money and lie to us.

This place is a must. Great for families and pets. Clean, great restaurant. The views.definitely worth spending a bit extra.

I come here both in the summer and winter to check out the lake and the beautiful Pyramid mountain. Paddle boats and fishing during the summer and dog sleds and skating in the winter. Warm up with a hot chocolate inside or have lunch overlooking the lake.

Great location, great service and overall great experience! Kiorie and staff provided fantastic customer service. The room (Whistler Suite) was a PERFECT home base for exploring the Jasper area!

If you are a light sleeper, stay away from this hotel, you can hear Everything during the night. I gave one star just because the location. The shower water temperature is not stable as well, either too cold or too hot. Tap water looks murky so we had to buy bottled water to use. Very disappointed.

We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean, the view was spectacular and we used the hot tub and snacked on the free Smores kits. It's not too far from town and we saw elk nearby. Many hiking trails start right near our room. Only minus for us is the restaurant which was packed and overpriced but had good food. The coffee also wasn't the greatest as was the water (recommend bringing your own water supply)

Beautiful anytime of the year. Perfect place for a wedding or a picnic. Staff resort persons ate very nice and friendly.

The boat rental tends to be booked fast. Tried the canoe, just rented 1 boat and switched were 4 people. Great place.

My partner and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was amazing. The location, the water amenities and the service were phenomenal. We will certainly recommend to our friends + will likely go back the next time we want to stay in Jasper.
The only thing that might deter some folks is that the rooms are not extravagant in any way but in my opinion you don't go to Jasper to sit in your hotel room.

Cozy rooms, good restaurant, lake access, trails, and walk to Pyramid Island. The lake and boathouse does get busy in the late morning and afternoon.

The staff were very friendly, minus the boat handler who seemed to have a little attitude, I don’t know what his problem was towards us. The nature walks were amazing. Rooms were good. It was a good experience

Would NOT recommend. Photos are EXTREMELY MISLEADING. 2-star motel charging 5-start resort price. We were shocked by the level of build of these rooms upon checking-in (and how dated they are). The rooms smelled bad and are incredibly dingey, facing cement roads in the front with the only source of light coming from the ONLY large windows by the door. The bathroom is incredibly small. Both the front windows and the tiny bathroom window are broken as well when we tried to vent the old smell out. Very disappointed considering how much we are paying for two rooms for our family. Save your money and just find a hotel in town, or add 20% more for Fairmont.

It was okay. I had chosen this resort for my small covid wedding but was disappointed the staff didn’t do anything special at all for such an event. A friend of mine had celebrated her anniversary the weekend prior and they made swan towels and champagne. I had booked this for my wedding in January. The resort is large and only offers a small outdated vending machine to buy any sort of beverage so if you go out to the resort make sure you stock up on items prior to leaving the jasper town centre.

One of my favourite places to rest and wake while in Jasper. The staff there are very accommodating. And I can’t imagine a much better view of the mountains while staring out a window drinking a morning coffee.

The room and staff were great but the restaurant has overpriced weird foods and brutally slow service. Drive to Jasper for food.

This is a hidden gem of a hotel.
The location is serene and peaceful, a 4 min drive from downtown Jasper.
It’s right on the lake and is absolutely stunning.
The rooms are a great size, beds are comfy and everything is clean. BBQ amenities if you feel like cooking, and the views of Pyramid Lake are breath taking.
I will definitely be back.

As part of our honeymoon we stayed here in one of the upper hillside chateaus in a 2nd floor room with a balcony facing the lake. We had beautiful views of the lake and surrounding mountains. One evening, at dusk, there was a small herd of elk cows and calves grazing behind our building. We were so close we could hear them breathing while they pulled then chewed the grass. It was a very peaceful thing to witness. We stayed in mid-summer and the site was crowded so the only negative thing I can say is that parking was hard to come by at times but that’s a small gripe compared to an otherwise great experience

We went while they were doing renovations, which was inconvenient, but it was quiet and we hardly noticed that they were being done! The rooms were clean and bright. They have in floor heating though, so it took a while to warm up in our room, and it also made our dog very uncomfortable. Their snow management wasnt that great, as they did not shovel any of the patios or steps going up to the rooms.

Beautiful views and amenities. The room was too hot and could not cool it down, considering it was March I'm not sure why this was the case.

The place is just wonderful. I drove from Calgary to this place to enjoy the view and the road. I was not deceived. The resort is very friendly and welcoming. The view of the lake and the mountains is simply worthy of love movies! I loved it! 6 out of 5 stars! ;)

The resort is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are quite nice. We had no real issues with any of the rooms and they have in floor heating. Winter is stunning here. We found the food okay but probably would just go to jasper for food.

Nice place off the beaten path. Visited in the summer before but winter, was our first visit. Really nice.

I went ice skating here this week and it was awesome! The rentals were in good condition and the staff were very helpful! Such a great location to do some ice skating.

Perfect winter getaway (all year round really). Frozen lake out front gets groomed for cross country skiing, skating and pond hockey. Being 7 km outside Jasper town makes it a good spot to sleep if you're skiing at Marmot Basin. Various types of rooms including ones with a kitchenette.

We stayed there Christmas of 2015 and we loved it the rooms were great very big bath tub a very great place all around

Fantastic spot. The setting is spectacular. We attended for a wedding and it was perfect. Food, rooms, staff were all too notch.

Good hotel. Close to town so that's good. Showers could have higher pressure. Modern tv's with an HDMI port to plug in my ps4 for Netflix. Good hotel for an overnight stay. Maybe not for an extended period

Romantic gateway, they personalize the trip by adding a bonfire right by the frozen lake during winters. Spent time, on the hot tube late in the evenings, was a good relaxation. Rooms were nice facing towards the mountains, it was a morning bless to see the sunrise, ample parking. Lots of activities for family and friends like skiing, ice hockey.ect. Very helpful and friendly staff. We had a funtabulious stay. Hope you have the same. All the Best
