PZA Parlour

Ordered Uno and Undici pizzas, each 11". Unlike the menu price, our server informed us the Uno was $13 for 11" when we went. That's such a great price though I'm not sure if it's the lunch price as we were there for lunch on a weekday. We also ordered two Pepsis that were refilled from small, glass, wine (?) pitchers more than once (free refills). We were both surprised to see our server carry the pitchers out, and to borrow my fiance's words, "it's very novel. " Quite a nice touch. There were only two other tables being served so we got our food promptly. We were asked if we wanted our Calamari served as a starter or with the rest of the food. Always nice to be asked. The atmosphere feels like a semi uppety bistro, lots of natural light and white. There aren't any booths and the interior design is like 90s/early 2k franchise restaurants, because it's a sports bar so there's a random motorbike in the restaurant. Tbh, even though there's a big bar at the centre, it took me the motorcycle to realise it was a sports bar. It didn't feel like one in the least when we visited it for a weekday lunch. Great atmosphere, service was nice, and most importantly the food was great. It's reasonably priced too. We took leftovers home and they heat up fine in the oven though it's not as good as when it's made fluffy and fresh at the restaurant. The fried calamari was fresh tasting and delicious too. I haven't been in this neighbourhood long, but I'm happy to have found a good pizza place close by. Looking to use their delivery service next time as well.

The pizza was delicious. It was quiet (lunch time and first day back at school) but would highly recommend.

Best thin crust pizza in the south. Pasta is wicked, carbonara is a spin on traditional and awesome if you like garlic. Good cocktails

Ordered 4 pizzas for an outdoor hang with friends. The arugula topping was forgotten so we called the restaurant. The owner delivered it 10 min later!
Felt bad asking for it but it was half the toppings! Anyway. Pizza is amazing and service is incredible. Thank you so much!

Such delicious pizzas! A delight to dine here. We ordered 3 different pizzas and all were finger licking good. Plus point for clean washrooms.

First time at PZA. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of their food.
The bruschetta was honestly the best I have had in quite some time. The piazza was light but very good. There were no leftovers after the night was done.

We will come back and will recommend to friends.

Review update: Pizza again so tasty! We got the Quattro, so cheese, cheese, cheese, oh and cheese! It’s not a dairy overload though, not heavy at all. It was great to sit out on the patio. I would give 4 stars today, unfortunately they were out of 3 out of 5 desserts (maybe even 3, if our heart was really set on their dessert).

Love their pizza! We've been here 3 or 4 times at Happy Hour and share a small pepperoni pizza. It is so good (this coming from someone who doesn't even really like pepperoni pizzas). The first time we were here, I had a pasta carbonara, which was simply delicious! The staff is very friendly. I like the clean, fresh, open atmosphere. Love this place!

Not my first review of PZA but I have not been let down yet! Service was friendly and they had a number of specials including wine and menu items and our server was able to clearly go through the list with enthusiasm. The food was really good as usual. We both had 12" pizza's and they were hot and fresh. I ordered a large just so I could take some home for leftovers. It's only a few weeks before the patio will be open and that is a must visit. Keep up the good work!

Pure joy to eat there. The food is extremely good. They know how to cook and from scratch what is rare in Calgary. By far the best pizza in Calgary that I tried until now. The service is great and the musicians if you are lucky play when you eat. Seriously need more locations in other towns

Was a wonderful experience the Mango Pizza had great flavor profile. The live piano music and service was great, would recommend as a date spot as the prices are not crazy either.

Went for the first time. Will be going back! Had the Otto pizza (I put pepperoni instead of ham) - and it was delicious. The chilli crisp oil with the chewy and crispy crust was so good. Currently my favourite pizza

Horrible place, waited for my order for 15 mins. And then the manager said its my fault that I didn't inform them.

A truly horrible assault on my palate. We had the split pea and ham soup, it was inedible. The ham in the soup was pizza topping, a bunch of clumps of ham in some green stuff. There was no flavour, consistency or any kind of presentation. We also had the ham and pineapple pizza and we added pepperoni. The pepperoni isn’t actual pepperoni, it’s pepperoni loaf or some pressed meat of some sort. There was very little sauce on the pizza, very little cheese, no flavour and the pepperoni was all burned on the top. They don’t put cheese on top of their pizza, it’s underneath the toppings and not cheesy at all. We had arancini and it was also flavourless.
Most of the food we just left and there was no desire for a takeout box. Just a heads up, if your customers are not finishing their food, you may want to educate your servers to ask what was wrong of if something could be replaced. Unfortunately, there are many restaurants in Calgary that run like this. I have no idea how you make money when you serve food like this. I am just being 100% honest with my review. By the looks of the star ratings, someone is plugging this restaurant with fake reviews. There is no way in hell this restaurant is carrying a 4.5 star rating. Not for food, not for service and not for ambiance. The food was gross.

Absolutely delicious from start to finish, our server reminded us of specials and we both enjoyed our meal, so far the best pizza I've enjoyed in calgary

The size of this pasta for $20 is outrageous. I’ve eaten here dine in and always had great food sizes and service but man this is lacking. 2 stars only cause pizza was decent

This place is definitely a great place to stop the food is amazing, the staff are so nice and the looks and style are beautiful definitely will be coming back and I suggest others stop by.

Hands down the best food I have had in Calgary me and 6 others ate here the other day and all 6 of us where shocked how good the food is and it's also very clean and nice looking inside with super friendly staff and food is good price. We will definitely back asap

Really good pie. Not the best in the neighbourhood but they rank. They have unique pizzas. I’ve tried most. I urge you to step out of your comfort zone here. You will be rewarded. Try the pear-gorgonzola or PEI (lobster) pies!

I had my daughter’s baptism celebration here today and even though we got more people than expected they were able to accomodate all of us and provide an excellent service. The person in charge and the server who helped today were amazing. Food and service are amazing. This is our go to place when we want to celebrate with a large group of friends and family. I appreciate the patience and kindness we received today from the staff.

Horrible food and even worse service, yes we were in there with a fairly large group, but they had plenty of time to prepare. Took forever for the food to come out and when it did the meatballs we’re raw in the middle, burger was raw and noodles were hard. Servers were condescending and extremely rude, manager was even worse when brought to his attention. All in all horrible experience, I will not be going back to this restaurant!

I have been to the restaurant several times over the years and the food is fantastic.

I have just recently been for dinner about a week ago and was fortunate enough to enjoy the patio.

The patio is comfortable and nicely decorated.

The interior is very nicely decorated as well.
Pre pandemic I found the chairs inside uncomfortable to sit on and felt very small (not sure if this is still true)

The pizza is amazing. I have tried almost every pizza on the menu. The weekly special pizzas are also awesome.

If your not up to pizza, the arrancini is great, the calamari appetizer is awesome and was cooked well, and the desserts are great, I recommend the Italian donuts.

The service in the restaurant is also fantastic. I have always had great experiences with the staff.

I recommend avoiding ordering through skip the dishes. If your unfortunate to get a driver that makes multiple stops the pizza does not hold up like in the restaurant. If you want to do take out I recommend picking up.

Skip using ordering apps and call-in for delivery. Great tasting gluten-free pizza, and everyone tells me the normal stuff is yummy too!

Everything at PZA is always consistently good. The food, service, and drinks are always great. The pizzas never disappoint and the cocktails are creative and delicious.

It's a good place to visit if you like homemade pizza and pasta. The only downside is the pizza is really expensive.

Amazing pizza and the fettuccine too. We had the mushroom pizza, lobster, smoky mango and one loaded with meat. All were fantastic.

Great Pizza! Easily in the top 3 for me in Calgary. The only rule is eat it hot and eat it immediately. Traveling with this pizza and letting it get cold is a crime.

Had pizza here for the first time recently. I have to say this is the best pizza I’ve had in Calgary! I ordered takeout for our staff lunch and everyone enjoyed the food. They were on time with my order and friendly when I went to pick it up.

Hands down, the best pizza I have ever had. The management is spectacular. The chef's know their stuff when it comes to allergens as well. I will drive across the city for this place.

Super nice staff but they charged me $4 for extra basil which was cooked and dry and long and stringy that honestly felt weird on the tongue and in the throat (not the fresh I expected it would be so it was basically flavorless) and $4 for barely any mushrooms.that wouldn't have even been so bad if the pizza was phenomenal tasting but it was nothing to write home about. I really didn't enjoy it at all. I found it to be bland and flavorless. I really expected a whole lot more from pizza from a supposedly Italian pizza place and it was really expensive pizza ($34 for 16" with extra basil and mushrooms). Save your money and buy Via Cibo Margherita pizza. It's delightful, way cheaper, and they don't charge you for extra basil or oregano that don't come to you cooked and dry on the pizza. Another amazing pizza place is Famoso. A little pricier than Via Cibo but authentically Italian and still cheaper than Pza and its an experience eating their pizza. I wouldn't recommend Pza for pizza at all. Haven't tried their pasta so I can't comment on an experience with that - I sure hope they're tastier than their pizza! One star is fitting for them since they do have the redeeming quality of really kind staff.

Food is typically good.but it just took 1 hour and 37 minutes to receive our delivery. An hour, and 37 minutes.for a 10 minute drive. Brutal!

Do you like Italian Pizza? This place is great. Mouth watering! Took my brother here for the first time. He went back with his girlfriend three days later. The margarita is soo good and so affordable for the size. Eat local, eat PZA!

Very good pizza! The crust leaves you wishing there was more of it. I had the mushroom pizza but had them add some of their house made sausage. Incredible!

Haven't eaten here since they opened, which was a while ago now I'd say. Had lunch on the patio. The patio was a great south facing spot. Plenty of sun and very open area. They had Philips Blue Buck so that was a bonus if you like that sorta thing. They had a great pizza menu that makes it hard to choose what to get because they all sound so delicious. I went with the pizza since it was my first time here and PZA is their name, so. I actually forgot the names of the pizza s we ordered. Mine was basically a beef and onion which is one of my favorite pizza combo's. My buddy had a meatlo ers type zza. And his wife had a more traditional style with olives and such. We shared everything and all of them were on point for me. Tatsy sauce. Real ingredients executed well. The staff are excited about the food as well which makes the experience a little more comfortable when done right. All in all great spot to chill and have some.pizza and beer with a great sneaky patio in the southwest of Calgary. I know they have a ton of other stuff on the menu but I didn't.eve read that side of the menu. Hit this place up if you like food that fills the belly and has a sweet spot to enjoy it in.

It's hard to find the perfect pizza if you've never been to PZA Parlor before. I feel for you, as I was once in your shoes.until now!

"Wow! " Is all I can say about this place. It's beautiful inside and out and the pizza is truely phenomenal! You are usually trading between toppings or crust when you order a pizza but this right here is the perfect combination of both. I won't spoil the experience with all the finer details, but I will say that never have I seen a kid finish an entire slice of pizza until coming here. It's safe to say that the crust might as well have been eaten first instead of the usual routine of being left on the plate. Keep it up PZA!

Authentic and affordable, we ordered pizzas while staying at a hotel close by. Extremely pleased with the service. Quality pizza rivaled that of pizza double the price elsewhere. You can tell it has a homemade flare. Great variety wouldn't hesitate to order again.

First time at PZA and I absolutely loved it. The dough was top notch, light and airy with a great crisp. Toppings were excellent as well, but that dough stole the show. I honestly was not expecting it to be as good as it was. Easily ranks with LDV pizza bar and Without Papers. Plus if you're gluten intolerant they make an excellent gluten free crust, my gf raves about it. Just a great lil family joint.

Definitely my favourite pizza in Calgary. When they made a mistake on the two pizzas I ordered (bacon instead of sausage) they delivered us four for the price of two.

Post lock down reopening review so probably not completely representative of the future may hold. Having said all that, the quality was top notch, flavors were great, service was friendly and prompt.

We had pizzas, calamari, and a burger.

They had a minor mistake in the kitchen and came out with a complementary desert at the end to make it right. The desert was amazing and we left 110% satisfied.

Was nice to be able to support local again. Would recommend fully to anyone that enjoys food and drink.

We have been waiting a while to try these guys as we used to be outside the delivery zone.
Finally had the chance to try and it did NOT disappoint.

We ordered the “Tre”
The crust was so light and chewy. The pepperoni is cut razor thin and has so much flavour. It was lacking a bit of sauce, but the symphony of flavours hit every corner of my mouth.

Will absolutely order again!

My Girlfriend and I were looking for a nice place to go to for Valentine’s Day and we came across this place. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted very graciously. The host asked us how we were and asked how she could help us. We told her we had a reservation and she was very prompt and we were seated right away. The atmosphere was amazing and the restaurant was so warm and welcoming. We noticed it was very busy, understandable considering it was Valentine’s Day. Our server greeted us right away and she was so knowledgeable and very personable. We started with calamari and it was so good. We were very happy with our entrees as well. The food and the service was so amazing, we will definitely be back. We told our server it was our first time visiting and she thanked us for coming in. Our servers name was Mila and she did amazing. I wish I could have thanked the cooks as well. The food was incredible! I highly recommend this place:)

Ordered a pizza the other day and added 2 extra toppings. One of which unfortunately didn't make it on the pizza. However, still totally delicious! I called in the next morning to let them know and spoke to Ricardo.who was absolutely professional, very apologetic all though not needed. His customer service will ensure our business again! If you haven't tried PZA parlour yet. I highly recommend that you do!

Love this place. I order here once a week. They have better delivery than skip so make sure you call them for delivery. Your pizza will be warmer and it'll cost you less!
