Quality Hotel & Conference Centre Sawridge

Worst experience I've ever had staying in a hotel and I stay in a hotel more then I actually stay at my own place. The front desk and I agreed with each other that the cleaners would come in between 7 and 730am (I work night shift), but they would show up at 8 am instead. The tub and sink drains where plugged in my room and as well, the heater unit quit. I asked for the maintenance guy to come take a look, which I was promised he would but he never showed up. My co worker was banned from the restraunt because apparently in the mornings, he's quite rude to the employees, when I know for a fact that he goes straight into his room because in the mornings I go to the restaurant for breakfast and I never associate with the staff. Do yourself a favour and find another hotel.

We were in a family room in one of the outside buildings. Was great for our needs, the separate bedroom worked really great for the kids. Rooms were clean and warm, only minor things were uneven squeaky flooring and TV didn't work.

Also the bldg doors either would not open with a key or the main door was broken open, so had to park near the main bldg door and lug our stuff to the other end. Still our choice place to stay when in town.

Comes with breakfast voucher to Ricky's grill (attached), breakfast 6-10 am.

Quick to book online I didn't read the terms. Without realizing. I had an issue with my credit card. Understanding, the staff and management went above and beyond to help solve this misunderstanding and I got to enjoy my stay here while on my trip sightseeing Canada.

I did not like restaurant first they will give your coupons for free breakfast then you can only pick one thing for second you have to pay. Totally ridiculous

Good staff, decent rooms but not the best location. No elevator which wasnt a big deal. Lots of commotion outside in terms of fights, arguments throughout the night. We stayed here for work and there is close amenities, but it was hard not to feel uneasy about our tools and equipment overnight

The room was very clean, the staff was friendly, and the shower was incredible. They give you a breakfast voucher to eat at the Ricky's, which is nice. There was only one server in the morning, though, which had you waiting for a while.

I booked a pet friendly room online through the trivago/ expedia website at 730 PM while in Edmonton, got into Peace River around 11: 45 PM, went to the front desk to check in, the front desk worker at the time was named Dakota had told us they weren’t pet friendly therefore turning me and my 6 year old daughter (who was at the desk with me while checking in) away.

I then proceeded to call every hotel/ motel in Peace River looking for any pet friendly room available as it was now past midnight and my daughter and i have no where to stay.

After securing a new hotel I then proceeded to call Expedia as directed by Quality Inn to see if they were able to refund me the cost of the room i had booked thru them in order to pay for the new room at the new hotel i had found.

I was then told by the Expedia Representative that the Quality Inn’s front desk worker had made a mistake and now they did have a pet friendly room available and to come back after sending us away. I was already checked in and unloading my vehicle at the hotel across town.

Quality Inn’s front desk worker Dakota and the Quality Inn’s Manager denied me and Expedia approval for my refund due to the fact of “had to cancel” my booking due to their mistake. Their argument was that the front desk worker Dakota had called us to offer us a room, keep in mind this is AFTER i had already found another place to stay.

I am writing this review in hope that the Peace River Quality Inn’s worker Dakota and the Quality Inn’s Manager approve my refund and take responsibility for this unforseen circumstance of theirs.

I also hope that in the future no one else runs into the problem while travelling with their children or pets.
