It is been long time that I wanted to write something about this horrible store for services. I took my truck to be checked for a very simple issue related to the sparks as they indicated to me but unfortunately when they started to open the sparks they break couple of the in the engine and than they called your engine is stopped from working while they mentioned the job cost would be only $ 200. When I asked what is the situation they said to me it would cost to pay $ 6 500 to change or fix the engine. As soon as they mentioned that I lost the trust on them. I towed my car to another mechanic. To make it short this place is not trustable and un professional and I don’t recommend no one to go to face the same experience that I had with them.

I had a very unexpected cv joint (axle) break on my 2005 Honda pilot. I asked family/friends for a quick recommendation to get it fixed. We were recommended Quality Transmissions. I phoned them immediately and they sent a tow truck 30 mins later. Our vehicle was towed to them and we had our vehicle repaired and ready to pick up in less than 24 hours later! So impressed with their service. The timing was so fast and wonderful considering we are expecting a baby any day now and it is our only vehicle. Also the cost was very reasonable for all the work and repairs that were needed to get it to 100% working again. I will be recommending their services to everyone from now on and if I ever need more mechanical work on this vehicle, I know exactly where to go! Very grateful for their help!

Great service, we took two different vehicles in for various things, and Jared and his team were so accommodating, friendly and honest. Instead of quoting us on a new timing belt for our Infiniti they just recommended we ride it out, due to condition and high km. Not many shops do that. I have a vehicle that is sentimental to me and they fixed it up, got it running great and I will always return and recommend! Thanks guys!

This is the only place I will go for vehicle repairs! My truck lost reverse in the transmission Thursday am, I called after my work and they were just closing as I dropped my truck off and left my keys in the over night box. They invited me in after closing to take my info and Friday they called me with an update, a new transmission was needed, so they got to work on it and gave me the best price I had received over the phone from other places. After work I stopped in and they were just about to close and they walked me over to my truck and hoisted it up to show me other items, they found. My truck was having issues (check engine light kept coming on) I had work done at another shop 3 weeks ago and each weekend I would drop my truck off to the other mechanics shop and get it back not fixed (they clear the check engine light but didn’t repair the issues) only to have the issues reoccurring, but Quality Transmission found and fixed everything for me. I can finally say it’s repaired properly plus the transmission and everything works great! I found the only place I will bring my vehicles (I’ve been to many in calgary over 30 years) but this is the only place going forward that will see my vehicles. 10 Stars!
I recommend this shop for any of your vehicle needs and they are friendly and the mechanics are excellent.

They charged me $850 but my van is still shaking the day before they said it would cost $750 they Added $100 the day I pick it up my van they ripped me off I'm not going there ever again

After over 2 months and 10,000 kilometers, the rebuilt transmission in my 07 Buick Rendezvous is working perfectly with no leaks. The service was prompt and the final price was as quoted.

My first choice for all my vehicle repairs even when I lived across the city. Top notch mechanics and honest service.

My family has taken all our vehicles here for years and we've always been happy and confident that we're not being swindled into spending more than necessary. In fact they're not afraid to tell you what you can and can't get away with not fixing immediately to help you save money.

I went to my normal mechanic who was swamped, and unable to at the time diagnose the main problems I was having. They suggested quality transmission, unsure if I had a transfer case issue. When I went to quality transmission, they were adamant to help, and solve the problem on my tight time line as I was going out of town that day. They worked to get me a new AC compressor, even though the whole city seemed sold out. They picked up the part, got it installed, and that ended up being the only problem. I would go again for their services, as they service cars, trucks, RV's, new, old, etc. Thank you!

Called for a quote to change oil in transmission. They gave me a competitive quote and had it done in a few hours. Profesional and friendly folks.

I love this place. These guys take care of business. They were quick to identify issues with my vehicle and concise in discussing solutions for me. No upsells. They also honored a warranty on a faulty part.

I had Quality Transmission install a used transmission I brought down for a 2009 jeep patriot. They had it all done in 2 days and it works great at a more than fair price. Jason was really nice to deal with up front. Thanks guys!

Had a unique issue with a parts swap. I was quoted an amount, with the possibility of needing more parts once it was opened up. I ok'd an up to amount. Not only was the turnover extremely quick, but hundreds under what I had given permission to Bill to? I have nothing but praise for the integrity of this operation.

They are a bunch of liars thieves u could name it, no words to describe how low and dishonest they, I dont understand how they are still open, and they sell cars too eventhough they are not allowed too

Like everyone else's reviews.stay away from this place if you don't want to get riped off, $115 for a quick learn that was never done, ended up taking it to another transmission shop an had it done properly, they walked me thrue every step they had todo to meet the requirements to even enter " special functions quick learn mode "

Quality transmission and staff are awesome! They inspected my cars issues and called me to let me know what is wrong with it (right front wheel bearing & axle) and the estimated cost to fix it. They fixed my car fast and i was able to make payment arrangements with them, even though i did not qualify for their payment program through another company they allowed me to leave my car there until i make all the payments as the bill is a little over $500:)

Great staff. They had asked me all the right questions so they could diagnose the issue, s with my truck. Down to earth staff.

When your coming in to pay a bill of over $1200 the last thing you need is someone being ignorant. I don’t have an issue with the work that was done just the attitude that was given for no reason.
What is the need for making someone feel worse when things are tough already? Maybe a humanity check would help your bottom line.
I though that I had given that while letting your comments go on the inspection of the transmission. Your staff seemed to understand that your comments were aggravating.
But your follow up when receiving my vehicle paralleled that meeting with unprovoked disrespect.you made your point. Take care.

My husband had a very bad experience here. Save yourself the hassle and go to a company that actually cares. If you want to be met with terrible customer service this us the place to go!

Edit: my husband and I do not share the same last name so you wouldn't find an invoice under the name Conway. So quick to threat legal action! Again, a testament to the great customer service at Quality Transmission.

This place is a freaking JOKE! What a bunch of ignorant goofballs that work here! Mr.owner, sir, you should shut down this sad excuse for a buisness right away. There is only one good guy in the whole place that knows what he is talking about and is a straight shooter. Chris I am surprised he is still there after all these years.

Absolutely terrible company to deal with. This compnag was interested in buying a used truck I had for sale on Kijiji, the came and looked at it and first tried to lowball me after my add said my price was firm. Then he finally agreed to pay my price. I told him I would meet him in there shop later on to do the paper work. I spend alot of time pulling the vehicle out of the shop myself to get it ready for the tow truck, I made arrangements with my father in law for him to be there. I drove all around town getting paper work that they needed to do the swap. Then I drove 40km from my home to the there shop. I dealt with two very unprofessional employees who had no idea that they where even buying a truck from me. The guy I was supposed to me did not show up. I tried calling him and texting him. Finally he texted me saying the deal is off.i wasted hours of time trying to make this sale happen, and waisted 80km worth of gas.never seen such terrible service.

Me, my family, and most of my extended family get our cars worked on here. Theyre fast, trustworthy and generally pleasant. Its a little out of the way, but worth it. The last place I went to screwed me over pretty hard so I dont trust for my car earnestly. At least quality transmission replaced my headlight fluid for free.

I brought my vehicle in for inspection and gave little detail. They came back with exactly what the problem was. Cost; $0. Plus, no pressure to do the work that was needed. Highly recommend.

Hands down the absolute best experience I've ever had with vehicle repairs. The staff are amazing, the work is incredible (work was completed by 4: 30pm.vehicle made it in the shop at 1: 00pm.same day!) and the cost was beyond fair. Highly recommend Quality Transmission to any and all.

No idea why people would complain.
I have dealt here with Paul and Chris, and others, for 12+ years. Never had an issue or complaint.
Moving to Ontario soon, and hoping to find a place to match this shop.

I'm thinking if you complain you are just not a happy person and can't be pleased.

I give one coz don’t have any option for zero or minus. I had recent experience with them, they are cheaters and robbers. They literally looted your money.

I have temperature issue with my car so I brought my car with them and they ask me to change hoses and adaptor. They ask me to get those parts from CMP dealer and told me not to pay them just bring parts, they will pay and later charge on me. The reason they told that if I get some less price as they are regular buyers. I did exact what they asked. They charge me to fix that car $300 including $175 for parts.

But when I came home and was checking for any leaks for engine coolent I noticed they only replaced adaptor not hoses. So I have doubt on these guys, I went to CMP to know price for parts what they ask to bring. I got quotation of $90 from CMP for the parts which they ask me to get to fix car and they charge me $175 for that.

I called owner and explain and prove him all these. He gave me back $80 as I saw them the didn’t replace any hose. Still it cost me $220 for only changing adaptor.

I know it’s long comment but worth to read before going to fix your car with Quality transmission.

I give one star because zero isn't an option! DON'T GO HERE! I had my Allison transmission rebuilt here to the tune of over 5K and it hasn't shifted right since! I brought it back 3 times and complained of a clunking noise that happens when I start and stop and they said it must be my transfer case or something worn out in the front end. Now that the warranty is up and I took it in to a real mechanic, it turns out they didn't bolt the transmission to the tranny support and it was torqueing my transfer case and took it OUT! Another 3K to fix that! WORST PLACE EVER!
