Rae Mi Hyang

I recommend the seafood noodles. The ingredients are really solid. There is actually a whole crab and an oversized mussel. Although it is a small crab, it is not fishy at all and is crispy after absorbing the soup. A bit spicy, but acceptable, and there are a lot of onions in it. Quite delicious

It's good. But it is just a typical korean restaurant in Edmonton. Spicy jjampong is really tasty and full of seafood. Everything is great, but lack of parking space.

Came from Calgary, and I thought it couldn't be really better than Calgary restaurants. It's better, at least if you like this type of food. I will definitely come again when I visit Edmonton next time.

I love spicy Jjambbong, Tang Su Yuk, Kan Fung Gi. I continually get them every time we go and they’re delicious, fresh and consistent. The service is lovely and the server is very helpful if you aren’t familiar with Korean foods. She is always so polite and quick. The atmosphere is basic but I appreciate that the tables aren’t crowded which can be common for a small restaurant. Also Korean umma approved; she loved all the dishes when I took her there.

A bit of an old spot but really good authentic Korean food. Fried chicken was just the right spice level.

Ordered the Jajangmyeon (family style) and tangsuyuk to go. This jajangmyeon had the sauce mixed in so it wasn’t like the regular jajangmyeon that can have sauce on the side. It tasted really good. If you prefer the sauce on side order the regular single jajangmyeon. The Tangsuyuk tasted really bland even with the sauce, wouldn’t really recommend. Overall I felt it was a bit expensive for the portion size and two items.

Wow, there are no words to describe my experience here. Went here with my mom, we originally came by accident because next door was a Filipino restaurant, but I ended up staying and trying the food. WOW. The seafood dish was really delicious, so much meat, I was so shocked they definitely did not skimp on the amount of seafood. I will definitely be ordering from Uber.

Wow! I've never had tasteless Korean food before! No sesame, no garlic, no flavour! It seems pricey given all we threw out. The person in store said it was a different regional cuisine, but it seemed like tasteless spin on Chinese cooking? So sad.

First time i ordered jjangmyeon and chicken tangsuyuk. It was good and big portion sizes worth the price.

But this time I ordered pork tangsuyuk full size portion for $32 not sure if this how it supposed to be.

I recently visited Rae Mi Hyang and had a decent experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, which made for a pleasant atmosphere. However, I must say that the food was good, but had lots of room for improvement. I ordered the fried chicken with spicy soy sauce, but unfortunately, it was too spicy to be enjoyed. Additionally, the black bean noodles had too many onions, which made it difficult to fully enjoy the dish. Despite these minor setbacks, I would still recommend this restaurant to others who are looking for a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

Best jajangmyeon here. Bouncy noodles. Sauce hits the spot. They package takeout really well.

It was delicious, but it's getting less and less delicious and the prices are outrageous.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality, taste, and cleanliness of this no-frills Korean-Chinese restaurant! Delectable array of dishes with generous portions at great prices. To round this off, the owners are incredibly friendly and take the time to interact with their customers ensuring a wholesome dining experience. I'm already planning my next visit and you should get on it too!

Tip for the owners: I noticed a middle aisle that you could populate with a few more 2-seater tables. Could reduce table wait times and add more to your bottom line.

Best Chinese style Korean in the city! Highly recommend the jajangmyeon, tangsuyuk, and mapo tofu

Soooo yummy and very authentic tasting from my knowledge. Got a bunch of dishes to share including Fried Chicken, Mandu, Jajangmyon, fried rice and more and every single one was delicious! The Jajangmyon was definitely a highlight though, just perfection. Staff were all kind and the establishment is very no-frills come for the food!

LOVE! I always go to this restaurant and order take out. Their spicy soy chicken is sooo delicious and so is their black noodles. XO fried rice is also really good

Particularly liked the version of kalamari (squid), vegetable dishes and fried chicken. Noticed lots of diners eating noodles coloured black (squid ink?) and seafood. Will try these in next visit- too bad they are closed Sunday for a leisurely food trip

It's a smaller corner store type Korean restaurant. We stopped by for a quick meal and we were not disappointed. Pretty good and authentic.
