Very happy with the upgrade after air condition malfunction. And also, Sahil was amazing with service and informative about the places to visit in the city. I was confused where to take my nieces and nephew but his suggestion helped big time! Thanks!

Larger rooms, a good sized-parking lot, and you may open the window for fresh air. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is older and could use updating, but for the price it is good value

Amazing stay (as usual)! The rooms were very clean and the staff are honestly amazing! We have been here multiple times (with and without our children). The first time we were given a big enough room to fit us and our 4 children all together, the second and third times we got two rooms (as we were there with family). Staff were able to accommodate us all moving rooms so we shared one door and our two pet friendly rooms. Only issue we really had was the beds aren’t as comfy as the one we are used to at home (but that makes sense), and the play pens could use a bit of an update. However, that being said- The staff always went above and beyond and were super friendly (even with our many, many children and somewhat off putting tattoo collections). We will for sure be coming back just because of how the front desk and housekeeping and maintenance staff went above and beyond for our family! Thank you for making our trip so much easier!

The room was large and spacious. It was clean. The check out staff was super friendly.

We reserved two rooms. My friend lost her debit card and unfortunately was unable to receive the deposit. She gave my information to pick it up.

I arrived today after 1400hrs and was met with an amazing front desk agent. She went over and above trying to find the information as there were no notes left for her. It is really appreciated when people are so friendly. Thanjs for your help with this matter.

Great as usual. They had some technical issues beyond their control but otherwise really nice, love the balcony.

I had stayed at the Best Western for business trips, just a couple of blocks away, because it was a bit closer to where I needed to be. But that was an awful, dirty, and disappointing experience so I came to the Ramada.

What a world of difference! The lady at the front desk is all about providing service and solving problems. So impressed by her can-do attitude and friendliness. They have an established culture of service.

Stayed here for almost a week. And I will happily return for my next business trip to Edmonton in a few weeks. They've gained a loyal client, for certain.

UP: I've returned several times since. Still as good as the first visit. The Best Western lost me for good.

Second visit to this hotel. The room was lovely. Quiet, cool, comfortable and clean. Nice little balcony to catch the October evening sun. The staff are accommodating and pleasant. They upgraded us to a West facing room. Great location for IKEA and other useful shops.

The rooms are a bit old but clean and comfortable. What really makes the stay is the great food and service at Len Steve's restaurant in the hotel. If I lived closer I would definitely come back for the food!

I'm writing this review and would be giving it 0 stars if possible not even because I've been there and had a bad experience but instead that right from the first phone call I greeted the receptionist by commenting its rather warm this July 18 day and calling to confirm a room i had been planning to stay in on my few days off. I have stayed in a few ramadas previously and was not disappointed. This one however has employed a receptionist who was really rude from start telling me to book from site and then asking, qoute "you can't book here you have to book from the site. Ok? Goodbye" and then hangs up the phone right away me having said nothing at all since greeting. So, very rude receptionist and doesn't even seem to care about hospitality. I Hope reviews like these aren't keeping this hotel at a 2 star rating. On a closing note to management, Personally, I stay in hotels 100% of the time as my work requires it, and most people won't come back to someone/something that treats them disrespect. Will mention to avoid this place to all my coworkers who stay in edmonton.

The beds were very comfortable vut an extra $200 deposit because we chose to pay by debit, which is the equivalent of cash, is absolutely ridiculous. And then our deposit was taxed! Why!? ! A deposit should not ever be taxed!
Also, no shower cap, and the coffee machine in our room was mouldy and disgusting. The staff were very friendly.

The front desk staff were laughing at my visitor due to his size. Body shaming is not acceptable. We had a fire alarm and this was handled very poorly no direction was given. The maintenance staff left us with the feeling that we were inconveniencing him by having to unlock the doors in the stairwell. When the toilet plugged the front desk staff were not pleasant when requesting assistance and we had to wait a long time to get a plunger necessitating people go to the lobby to use the washroom. No acknowledgment was given at checkout of the inconvenience of the fire alarm which woke my niece up making for a long night.

Staff was disrespectful and slow to help. Had fire alarm at 11pm when daughter was sleeping. Staff acted rudely when it was alot of effort to open doors to let us back onto our floor. No apologies for inconvenience

I really hate to write a bad review.but when you're spending the money you do for a hotel room.you deserve to have it at least decent.
The front desk staff were awesome, but the whole hotel has some odd smell that's just gross. When we got to our room on the second floor, the smell was even worse. There were crumbs on the night table, red blotch in the bathroom sink, a babies sock, empty water bottle and bottle cap under the one chair. So clearly they don't do a great job of cleaning. If we weren't there for my husband to attend the hospital and it being a last minute thing driving from Grande Prairie. I would have left that evening and not come back. Very disappointed with the stay and gross.

Room was overpriced and dated. We had to get the sheets changed immediately after checking in because they were disgusting and had a huge yellow stain. Hotel was understaffed. Tried to get a drink in the lounge and gave up after sitting there for 15 minutes with no staff to be seen. Other people that were dining were still waiting to pay for their meal since before we arrived. We brought this to the attention of the front desk and we were advised to find the guy ourselves. Absolutely horrible hotel experience.

I really love staying here. The staff is super friendly and helpful. My all-time favorite room is 759, the jacuzzi room. I will stay here many more times in the future. I gave a 4 star instead of 5 honestly just because of the lighting situation in the room. It's not bad during the day if the sun is out because it has two large balconies you can open up and let light in but once it gets dark you are stuck with a couple of dimly-lit lamps and a small light on the ceiling that had a burnt out bulb and faced the wall. If they just changed that light to a nice big bright one it would be perfect.

Was a great place. Very comfortable beds and the staff were awesome and very friendly. We extended our stay 2 days actually.

Staff was more concerned with letting there personal friends in the hotel to deliver food to the door then the safety of the guest.
When my boss showed up to go over paperwork for the job we were on, they continually acted like he wAs COVID-19, and after being there 2 weeks and paying for the rooms, they still were acting like they didnt remember him, and called the police on him when he did not respond to the lady trying to stop him and let the guy delivering booze in without question.
Unacceptable, nice place but treated like dummies.

Fairly decent, I usually stay at the Ramada because of the pool, but this one doesn't have one.

5 day stay and only once cleaned without asking. The room wasn’t cleaned well. Front desk staff were great but housekeeping not good at all. We were out of the room early and there was ample time for the room to be cleaned. I did not leave a tip.

Clean enough rooms, very old and cold, beds not very comfy. Advertised breakfast included but did not in fact include breakfast. Service at check in was poor.

I stayed a night. Building is little old but nicely maintained. Noy complaining considering thr price. Location is very convenient. Not much restaurant in walking distance.

Loved staying here, wonderful balconies, super clean, lots of parking, felt at home. Close to everything. My kids enjoyed there stay. Would stay here again.

Worst hotel ever. Rooms were not clean.they ended up changing the room but the internet remained down from the check in time to 10 pm and then again in the mroning. I had to early checkout. Management and front desk lady specially the morning shift were rude will not compensate you for the services which they were not able to provode. She even said that i should have told front desk and they should have provided something else for internet even before finding out from the evening shift lady who knew that untill what time the internet was down as she was the one who called me at 10 pm to let me know that internet was back.will never stay there nor will recommend anyone to stay

I had to do my work through other hotspot location and my kids gadget didnt work for entire day they missed their online schooling and i missed my meetings.

The morning shift lady on 18th feb and 17th feb should be fired.

Room is clean and quiet. I arrived late. Checked in and went to sleep.
Front desk girl this morning was incompetent, rude and totally unprofessional. Me calling down to stay another night and saying I'd pay on my way out for the day turned into getting called an hour before my original checkout time demanding I come down that second, then someone sent to my room 20 minutes before my original checkout time to demand I come down.
I checked out. Will not be staying there again.
Front desk girl made it even worse by trying to yell at me that I was late checking out when I was in front of her at 11: 55am with a noon checkout time.
Rude, argumentative, unprofessional, horrible attitude, should be fired.

The beds are comfy, the staff is very friendly. The shower heads are kind of trashy. The t.v is small as honestly not very responsive at all to the remote. The halls to the rooms and the elevators kinda look like they haven't been upgraded from the late 90s. But, for sub-seventy dollars a night, I'll take it.

Worse place to stay, compared to other hotels. Staff are lies, dishonesty. Also they rip me off, by taking room service tax Environmental tax to addition to the taxs HST'/ GST/PST' / and hotel tax.if you needed honesty and your good respect don't go there, there's so many hotel you can choose from.

This is our second time staying at this hotel for our sons medical appointments. The first time was good. This time, we were disappointed. We booked a king /queen 2 room suite. The room was good except the A/C wasn't working so in our current +33 heat it was absolutely necessary to have.we called down and they we're willing to switch us to a different room but it would be in a standard queen room with two beds, which was fine as long as the A/c worked. It wasn't great but it at least made the room temperature manageable compared to the heat outside. The room it's self was clean, the bathroom could absolutely use some repairs. The hallways we're dirty and some of the garbage was still there at 9am the next morning when we checked out. What disappointed us the most was that they refused to adjust the price to reflect us staying in a standard room instead of the king/queen 2 room suite. We we're told that it was because we booked through Expedia but we paid the $200 deposit plus the cost of the room with our debit as we didn't want anything charged to our credit cards. If we had paid through Expedia then I would of completely understood but the fact our room was changed and we paid debit, I feel as though the price change should of happened. Unsure if we will be coming back or finding a different hotel to stay at when visiting Edmonton in the future.

Came here from Vancouver, walked in and the lady at the desk gave SO much attitude. Rolled her eyes when she said we were at the wrong location - would never recommend this place. She needs to be fired or take a course in friendly customer service! Very disappointed! Sorry we went to the wrong location ‍️ Jesus!

Super easy to book, no issues with reserving our room online via debut visa and paying by credit card when we got there for the deposit. Clean rooms. Only thing I noticed to be an issue was the bathroom could have been cleaned better, tile grout was dirty, tap was coming out of the wall. Over all it was a good stay.

It was good. Staff at the front desk when we checked in were AMAZING and so kind! Hotel was clean but could use some improving in some areas - but that’s coming from an OCD “cleaner”. Building was quiet, perfect location! Dog-friendly, just wish they had a bit more of a better area for them to do their business instead of one spot of grass in the middle of parking lot.perhaps a designated smoking area.no credit card required but that also means a $200 pet deposit payable at check in - refundable as long as no damages at check out.

Excellent! I got a free room upgrade to a king suite and everything was very comfortable and clean. It was a nice feature that you had to use your hotel key in order to operate the elevator, most places don't incorporate this level of structure and safety. They also had the best mini lotion I've ever used and included more mini essentials than other hotels do.

It was horrible! Clearly they had a gas leak, we informed them of it they didnt care. No hot water! I guess they will care when someone dies!

We walked into a pet friendly room (203) and were almost knocked down by the VERY distinct smell of cat urine. I immediately contacting the front desk, and she switched our room to 201. When walking into this room, the smell was different, but just as strong. We then immediately walked down to the front desk and checked out.
Needless to say I 10/10 do not recommend booking in this hotel for a pet friendly room.

If your looking for a crack hotel you found the right place, the front desk people made us install our own lightbulbs when they weren't in the room, the beds where full of other peoples hair and elastics and dirty towels all over the room, when we complained at the desk she told us she would show us to the place where we do the laundry for the room that they didnt clean, no discounts or anything. We decided on staying anyways because it was to late to find another place, we got a different room and the desk gave our room keys to another occupant, if that's not bad enough we had people running up and down the halls all night while people where partying in the next room over. Look else where for a hotel

I had a great experience at this hotel with friendly staff and the good facilities. It is also very clean

Bed is very hard and un comfortable. Room has one box of tissue paper. Room is clean and heating is adiquite al though the heater sounds like a big rig on a cold day.

The best. Clean rooms. Friendly staff and had an awesome supper at their restaurant. I hardly eat liver and that liver was delicious

Such a fantastic stay! Peter from the front desk was unbelievably helpful! While waiting in line I witnessed him go above and beyond and provide exceptional customer service for two separate parties, each with unique circumstances that even I wouldn’t have known how to handle!

The room was very noisy. You could hear everytime the rooms around us did anything. The heater was running all night long and it wasnt even cold outside. The only way to get the heater to stop was completely turn it off. Many dusty surfaces in the room. Giant stain on the carpet beside the bed. All lightbulbs were burnt out except for the bathroom and 1 light at the door, which made the room very dark.

The Lobby staff was great the room was in good condition and had a balcony. And the lounge downstairs in the lobby is great i would steal that manager to work for me anyday. I will Highly recommend anyone to go there.

They treated me like I was part of the family. The staff are some of the friendliest I have ever encountered.

The front desk was not helpful. Before coming in, i called twice if we can check in a little early. The first time she answered 'call again at 12noon'. The second time she said 'unfortunately no'. Most hotel that i have been to would probably try to help but this one sounds annoyed.
Anyway, we got in to the hotel with a stressful experience. The room key card doesnt open the door. Worse is, it opens the adjacent room. SECURITY AND PRIVACY issues!
I have to go back down and complain. The room was not properly cleaned and stocked. We were scratching our arms and legs the following morning.
I dont recommend this hotel at all.

Hotel is a bit run down looking. I had to change rooms at first because the room reeked of cigarette smoke.

It's ok nothing special. Overpriced ok with the room. Probably stay there again. If I need the area. But the shower needs work. No water pressure.

It was okay. Not the best not the worst. Front desk service was slightly annoying when they gave me room key that didn't work and said that I wasn't using it correctly for the elevator as though I've never used a keyed elevator. Room was a good size and the bed was comfortable

When we got to our room we were delighted to find that the toilet was not flushed (there was a #2 still in the toilet.). We flushed the toilet twice after and there was still remnants of the #2 from the previous guest HAHAHA gross! Then we noticed a brown stain (looked like coffee) in the sheets so we called the front desk and asked if they could replace them. To which the woman on the front desk replied “. Uh ok sure.i’ll send someone up then”. When the room attendant arrived he just handed over the sheets to replace? (I promise we’re not the type that is disrespectful to workers or some snobby people) but the man just stood there and did not even offer to replace it which i thought he would given are already uneasy feel about our room? Anyways, what a great stay.

By far the worst “hotel” I’ve ever stayed at. The front desk staff is extremely rude and ignorant and makes you feel unwanted no matter how much money you are spending staying there. They do not accommodate in anyway making changing your bed sheets after a few days stay a huge deal and they make it seem like such a hassle to even speak with you. I will never return here again and hope that anyone looking for a good hotel room avoids this place at all cost! The only nice person in this whole hotel is the maintenance man.

Very good rates, and professional staff. No complaints whatsoever. Clean rooms and a smittys restaurant attached. Free WiFi and fridges in the rooms. Great location with everything you need close by. We were late waking up and checking out, they did not disturb us or charge any extra. Very pleased with our stay overall.
