This property needs to shut shown. Very old building, broken doors. They don’t allow you to look the room before your stay. I felt scammed.

Omg! I should have taken photos and called the city inspector on this one. Curtains all ripped and see through…. The comforter had stains big ones and many and the sheets were paper thin with stains too. The pictures are from at least 15-20 years ago.no joke… rust and black in all creases… I would go on but for $180, I was more than appalled. I heard them tell another client that they DONT do refunds… please beware sleep in your car or in a tent across the street and thank me later…. I don’t want to be all negative so here goes…. The 1968 shower head pressure was amazing! Just don’t let the shower curtains touch you on the way out!

Exposed pipes in room. Blood on bed. Wet sweater from previous person handing in shower. The lock was duck taped. Beer cans in hallway. Hottub was broken and pool room had weird smell.

Rooms are in need of an update and better cleaning. The rates of being under $100 are very helpful.

Needs updating and maintaining. Night staff was good. Wanted to pay with debit but they were going to charge a $21 fee.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Huge dead bug on the bed along with someone else’s hair, cigarette burns, completely run down, and “security” woke us up at 5am demanding to know who we were - uh we’re paying guests. Worst experience I have ever had, this place is disgusting.

Brutal! Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. $120 for a night in a old rundown room. Shower didn't work, walls definitely needed some tlc, stale cigarette smoke smell, outside noise from people gathering until 3 in the morning. This place gives off the feel of a low income pay by the week or month vibe.

Clean, professional, and a decent place to get some rest, overall for most.
There is a little bit of scented product in their laundry, which can be a problem for some folks, but it is very mild, even for me.
I slept with the window open, but most folks would be fine.

The first room had white stains on the bed skirt that looked a lot like you know what, the carpet was pulling away from the walls, there was mold in the bathroom and around the sink, stuff splashed on the walls.the second room was only slightly better with no white stuff but an incredibly dirty bed skirt (looked like water stain but crunchy), gum ground into the carpet, windows were damp and the place reeked of mold. The door frames were black and dirty in the hallways and in the rooms. Run the other way - they would not issue a refund as I booked online.

We asked for 3 beds they gave us two. They didn't have towles, extra Kleenex, they also didn't clean our room. You'd think they'd atleast take the trash out?

Zero star. No customer service, rooms are dead old. Don't even think to go there. Book the glenmore around the same price and you would have a best room.

Wish I didn't have to actually give a star rating. Worst hotel stay of our lives. Filthy. Smells bad (stale, urine, body odor, mustiness). In bad repair (phone held together by tape, as an example). Felt unsafe. Doors not closing properly. Stay far away.

Bait and Switch!

Do not go here, they will change the rates on you and there's nothing you can do about it. Your end of stay rate is not whatever your signed for and I am not talking about the minor taxes and fees. Talk about going from $99/night to $125/night

Avoid this place if you can help it, and if you can't, it's probably better to sleep outside than to deal with them

Absolutely HORRIBLE place to stay stains on the bedspread, broken doors, stains on the carpet broken bathroom faucet — the smell is the worst part changed rooms and it didn’t help at all I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone at all

Old rundown terrible service and filthy rooms. This is not a Ramada standard at all. I have stayed with this company before elsewhere but this was the worst i have ever seen!

They committed fraud by charging my credit card even though I paid in person. They will not respond to phone calls and refuse to refund the money. I am now being forced to contact the Better Business Bureau and file a lawsuit to get the money back that they stole.

This hotel is disgusting. Do not stay here. Very unkept and unclean, if I could put 0 stars I would. This place should be shut down. Absolutely disgusting, feels like a murder scene.

It was disgusting. The walls of the room had food splatter, dirt smears, and the curtain had what appeared to be a hand blood smear. The mini fridge was frozen over. It smelled like old cigarettes even though it was a non-smoking room. The shower had a terrible nozzle. The bathroom door was busted at the bottem with tape to hold it in place. There were no extra towels so we couldn't go swimming. The bagged breakfast was a granola bar, apple juice, and a banana bread

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Filthy room, our toilet was clogged and there was even a toilet paper that was unflushed, the garbage can was still full, wallpaper was peeling and the carpet was disgusting.

You get what you pay for. As long you know what to expect it’s ok. Wi-Fi isn’t good unless you’re close to the office. Don’t rely on breakfast during covid.

Made a reservation, drove 8 hours and they told me they wouldn’t accept my 35 pound dog I had to go somewhere else. Minimum 20 pounds lol.had to find another place at 11 at night Maybe they should’ve had that on their website. Also really run down looking

DISGUSTING, Bath tub have zero wood or concrete support making it an easy lawsuit for someone who falls in it, toilet makes noise 24/7, bathroom fan in multiple rooms sounds like a plane taking off and walls are shooting dirty, SPEND THE EXTRA $10-15 AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE, I came here trying to save as much money as possible but im still a human and no one should live like this

It did not meet my expectation,
Wi-Fi was not working but in the lobby.rooms were dark and breakfast was a juke

I book 4 rooms and when I got there I couldn't stay there. The place is old run down its a mess. I asked the receptionist to cancel the rooms he did cancel them but they didn't refund me not even a dollar. The pictures they have online is totally deferent from what is there. I spent more than 30 minutes trying to get my money in the meantime all I could see is drunk people coming in. That place is a mess please avoid going there. That place need to shut down permanently.

Extremely friendly staff! Rooms have a lot of space in them, nice new carpets. All day coffee! What more could you need?

Terrible hotel.
1) It's falling appart and it's dirty.
2) It says that breakfast is included.but I got half of a muffin and a small juice. I tough it was a joke. Half of a muffin.seriously?

The room was dirty, there was damage to the shower curtain, bathroom door, wall next to the door. The pool was closed (at least they emailed us beforehand to let us know but the hotel was basically empty so we’re still unsure as to why it was closed). The “free wifi” was NOT working, one day I went to McDonald’s down the street to look up where I needed to go in town.
At one point one of the staff walked into my room without knocking. Their complementary breakfast was just a grab and go bag that contained half a muffin, a granola bar and a juice box.
After we left I realized that I forgot something in the room and we were unable to return to the hotel as we had to catch our bus out of the city, with the majority of hotels you can just have the item shipped to you (I was fine with paying for that) the front desk staff that I spoke with said that he didn’t know if that would be possible because he thought that they would have to check my ID to be able to release the item I forgot. So instead of just having the item shipped which is literally just the process of filling out a form and scheduling a pickup I had to call my elderly father to drive over there and pick it up (about an hour drive each way) and we have to find a day/time when he can make the 4 hour round trip drive to bring it to us.
Also both doors to our room were open when we got there and you have to slam them to close them properly.
However Amanda was great shoutout to her, she was really nice.
TLDR: DO NOT GO TO RAMADA LIMITED. Please, for your own sanity go to one of the five other hotels on that road.

DO NOT GO THERE THEY ARE CHEATERS.
We stayed there for 2 nights after Covid was lifted but they half ONLY muffin for breakfast. This hotel is very dirty smell in the hallway is terrible also people are working are cheaters. They have asked me to to use credit card if I want to pay cash I have to pay $20 extra. I used my credit card they charged room charges and $50 for deposit now almost a month they have not refund my despot yet. I called them so many times every time I called they make different excuses and every time they said in few days you will receive your deposit back.
Today I called them again she said today this is also room charge we won’t give you give you your deposit back.
Please don’t book this hotel otherwise you will regret for sure.

As a former hotel staff, my experience here was subpar, the rooms are shabby, the tub drain is plugged with hair, the toilet keeps on running endlessly after being flushed and the ceiling fan in the bathroom makes a loud sound when the light is switched on.

The windowsill had dust and I found a key card belonging to the previous people that stayed in the room, suggesting that they didn't do a deep cleaning and inspection of the room.

Last but not least the internet here is horrible, there is no option for wired internet and the wifi is so bad that you can't even watch YouTube videos without them pausing every 5-10 seconds to buffer. There are also only 5 channels on the TV, and no streaming services/PPV channels. Not worth the $99 price tag. I've stayed at nicer motels for half the cost.

Booked through snaptravel.in upper case letters said NO additional fees would be chaged for the room as i prepayed for room with my credit card.show up to location to check in then they demand a cash deposit for the room which i pay the next morning i go to get my deposit back and there is all of a sudden over $75 in fees.handling fee ect so they did not give my full deposit back.while the room was in better shape than when arrived.it stunk and smelled like a person hadnt showered in weeks.my fiance vacuumed the room and sprayed it with bacteria killing deodorizer.anyway soo not only did they keep most of deposit which shouldn't have been takin in the first place. CROOKS.i would never recommend staying here as i wouldnt wish my worst enemy an incounter at the ramada Calgary northwest.

Never stay here no matter what, sleep in the parking lot if you have to. Everything was dirty from the moment we walked in. There was hair and stains in the sheets, makeup still on the pillow cases, when we complained they gave us a new set to put on ourselves which were also dirty, we got 4 sets of sheets before the last one ‘looked’ clean.wet carpet, mold, disgusting bathroom I’ve never seen something more repulsive. Wifi was trash, 1 Chanel on the tv, no smoke detector, no hot water, no towels.wish I could give less than a one star review

Lol the place is kinda falling apart, it needs a reno bad. There's claw marks on my door and the hinge is busted stopping the door from opening fully. Bathtub needs to be taken care of right away, there's a bunch of rot water swelling under it I could feel sloshing under my feet as I stood in it, as it sloshed it would waft rot air through the crack in the tubs seals, I wouldn't be surprised if the roof below collapses in a few days.

I canceled my stay and they never canceled and still charged me took 2 weeks to get a refund and when trying to communicate with staff they kept saying it wasn't their issue and they were serving another guest that had complaints of hair allover the bathroom walls and the sheets were not changed will never book here again very poor customer service and cleanliness

The place is old, rusty and dingy! Worst place ever. One can get a clean and comfortable place in an airbnb for the same price. Never again!

Had a great couple of days here, after booking next door at the COMFORT INN and had the absolute worst experience ever! This hotel was super accommodating and helpful and very respectful. Would not hesitate to come back again!

Had a Bed and washroom to use. Washroom was clean to use. Room was tidy and clean. However, there was a smell in the room. Found hair on pillow, confirmed it wasn't ours. Overall, it is okay for one night stay.

Very nice people running the motel but it is so dirty. There was literal snot on the wall and I don't even want to talk about the bathroom. Just a disaster

Honestly, probably the worst motel I have went to. There is like a wet mold smell, the room is all crack and rundown, expose pipes (broken wall), and stains everywhere. I was almost locked in the bathroom becuase the lock was broken. Bugs were also flying in the washroom too. Even if you are staying for one night, it's best if you pay a little more in another hotel then stay in this one.

Heating is really bad almost doesn't work and they gave portable heater which is not good enough to heat up the room

The bad; wires hanging from the ceiling. Mini fridge not plugged in.torn drapes and bedding. Leaking tap.

It's an okay place to stay. I'm not sure what the other reviewers expect out of a cheap 2 star hotel. The location is great as you have easy access to the C-train so you can get around the city quickly. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were dated but fine. The main issue I had was the wifi was terrible and basically unusable for my entire stay. If the wifi worked I may have considered staying here for work in the future. Pros: Cheap, great location, friendly staff Cons: terrible wifi, dated rooms Stay here if you want to save money and aren't too picky. Stay somewhere else if you want to holiday in Calgary. It's a 2 star hotel, what do you expect?

Like many people on here if i could give a zero i would. Our room door didnt work, waited outside for half an hour for the front desk guy tried to open it. We ended up getting a different hotel for the last night due to bed bugs and over all puke feelings. The shower bottom had lifted and there was water underneath, who knows how long that water has been there. The shower curtain was torn by what looked like wolverine. Not kidding. Nothing was cleaned, all the towels were stained. When we asked for new towels they had ran out. Save your money. Pretty sure they're not actually a Ramada. Also all of our friends that stayed here and Us, got strep throat after we left. Coincidence? Probably not

The single most disgusting, dirty, run down, hotel that I’ve ever had the displeasure of staying in. There is a swimming pool but unless you want to contract every known disease known to mankind, I’d avoid it. The rooms like like murder scenes from every known film in existence. The breakfast was, er, well, read my comment of the swimming pool and avoid that too. If you have plans when you arrive, you will be late, as the checking in process is slower than the fossilisation process. The building itself is in a state of disrepair and is a strong wind away from falling over. In short, I’d rather have slept outside or in a skip than this hotel. If you have money spare and really want to get rid of it, set fire to it!

I give this place 0 stars. So terrible. First off walking into the lobby of this place you can tell it is dirty. We got checked in went to the door with our key cards and it would not open. We went down the man at the desk came with us and opened our door with a actual key and said we will have to leave our door open if we leave because there was nobody there to fix it.
I was ind blown at this point and was scared to see the room. The room was so dirty, the walls were black in spots and holes in the walls. I went over to the bed to check it and the sheets has stains and i lifted the sheet from the bed and there was bloody finger marks on the mattress. There was stains all over the carpet i wouldnt want to take mt shoes off. At this point there was no way in hell i was going to stay there so we left and asked for a refund.

Ps. My friend was in another suite and there sheets were covered in makeup and who knows what else.

- One room you have to lift your door cause it wont close
- Ac unit that barly works on low and the high setting doesnt work.
- moldy smoky smell threw out
- hot tub with no bubbles, asked to have it fixed, the three days and two nights they did nothing.
- out of the five rooms our family stayed in, only one had a microwave!
- breakfast is two tables four chairs and its make cereal just like at home. Boring
- Oh and if you want hot water for a shower best to do in the middle of the night and not in the morning.
- An old school big back tv in the room.

Not a great experience. Had to get a new key card each day as neither would open our room. The "heated pool" that was advertised outside the hotel was heated to the temperature of a fridge. To the point that my son, who loves swimming, couldn't swim for more than a few minutes without chattering and wanting to come out. Air conditioner didn't work well. So we took the filter out to give it a quick spray off. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it was installed. Not to mention the yellow stains on more than half of the bath towels supplies in the room. But they have a policy to charge guests extra if they use the towels to remove makeup.

I had an amazing deal. I did a reservation for 2 double beds size 1 room but were 3 adult an a baby. We ask if we could had extra rooms like an extention and this guy name RUGer make it happen at no additional cost. Awesome.deal.

The first room we entered, had a smell of smoke. The room is not clean enough. The bed covers weren't clean. The irons are not working

The experience was alright. Standard continental breakfast. My room did not come with a clothes iron and it was only available if I paid an additional $10 rental fee.

A very dated place with lots of wear and tear. Hall ways smelled of stale air. While it is suppose to a non smoking facility there were cigarette butts thrown around the parking lot. People smoking in doors and on the balconies. Room furnishings were dated with 2 broken chairs that could not be used. We informed the front They said they would bring 2 up. Nothing happened during our 2 day stay. Safe didn't work and they charge rent for it. Bath room is literally 5 feet by 5 feet. With a very nice false ceiling. The plastic insert inside the tub is a true fall/slip hazard with the ability to severely injure. There is lots more. All I really have to say is DON'T STAY HERE.

Brown and red stains on the sheets; demagnetizing keys

We had booked 5 rooms for a group that was travelling together and every single bed had questionable stains on the sheets. Every. Single. One. One bed had a suspicious brown stain near one of the pillows on the fitted sheet which matched with a brown stain on the sheet itself, implying that the bedspread had not been cleaned before our visit.

Our keys demagnitized at least once a day so every time we wanted back into our rooms, we had to go to the front desk and have the keys reprogrammed.

This hotel reminded me of staying with a very elderly relative living in a old, dingy home, whose healthy was too poor to keep everything clean. A situation that would be easy to forgive as it's family and a free stay. The Ramada Limited, as a hotel and business, should hold itself to a higher standard.

Came up for the Stamps game with my kids and booked online. Got here and was sadly disappointed. Rooms were terrible and dirty. Beds prob have not been swapped out in 10yrs. You can see the indent in them. Rugs bathroon and pretty much everything was disgusting. We all slept in our clothes because we just felt cleaner doing it that way. I cheaped out to save $20 so don't do thr same mistake I did! I should have looked at reviews like I normally do. Never stay here peeps! Cheers

This place was sincerely awful. We went through 5 rooms and all of them were unclean: stains on the bed, nails on the floor, mould in the shower. Topped off with poor customer service: DO NOT STAY HERE!

It was absolutely horrendously awful. The rooms were dirty and dusty. The beds had dust in them when we patted them down. We looked at four different rooms and none were even close to remotely acceptable. The deluxe room had working air conditioning and air freshener. It was the same size as the other rooms. There was even a cigarette butt found in the sheets as well as garbage found in the sheets. The sheets also had holes in them and stains on them. We found a screw on the floor. A chair broke way too easily. A lady was refused a refund. They said they hadn't had complaints before but we knew someone who had complained before. They didn't have a manager in and they said they couldn't call one. I saw absolutely no cleaning staff. I don't even know how they were still operating. It was that sketchy. I was honestly really impressed by how bad of shape the place was in. There is absolutely no way I would go there again. One of the people I know had to actually be confrontational towards the man at the front desk which she definitely did not want to do.

What a terrible excuse for a hotel. Pet fee is more than anywhere else I have ever stayed at in Calgary. The first room they put us in was grimy from lack of a proper cleaning. Burnt out lightbulbs, broken fixtures, duct tape on the door to cover the peep hole. I was willing to over look all of that, but when the roof started leaking that was too much. We asked for a change in rooms and boy did we get one! Complete with items that were missed from the last guests stay and leaking shower head that was rotting out the wall.

I would give 0 starts. The hotel rooms were hideously unhygienic. The beds were not made and the sheets were not changed. The beds had dirt and rubbish in them and when we went to inform the staff that we were not happy with the rooms they were rude and did not apologize for the mess or the inconvenience of switching rooms. The entire facility is dirty and moldy. Right front the start the lobby smelled like human feces. Once we informed the staff of our issues with the rooms that had not been cleaned they offered us a deluxe sweet which was jusy a slightly cleaner room that had been sprayed with air freshener and sheets that didn't have stains, but did still have holes. I have reported this hotel to Alberta health.

Hair in bedsheets. Stains in multiple colors throughout room. Room did not come with an iron or toilet paper. Fridge smelled like something died in it.

What a hole. Believe the reviews and keep away from this place unless you feel unsafe sleeping on the streets.
