Fast efficient & friendly office. I felt very comfortable with my treatment options for a worrisome skin issue.

I have been patient here for two years now ever time I come to the clinic I always get out in clinic with a laugh in my face every thought I was stressing out all the nurses and doctors make sure that I good take care of and everything I have appointments I am always huger to come because I know I will get out feeling better and laugh all day

Dr Rao was great! He addressesd all my concerns and would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a Derm clinic!

You go here and then they forgets you. Long waiting hours. If you have options to go somewhere else, suggest you to go there. Not recommend

DR. Rao is the nicest person alive. He made me feel like I was the most important person in the clinic.super knowledgeable, super good energy. If you want to feel better about yourself, get in this mans presence.

Dr Rao Dermatology is an excellent professional office. From the time you arrive the reception staff are very friendly and professional, the waiting room is also well appointed and comfortable. Dr Rao is very caring, easy to talk with and very professional, his staff are also very friendly and professional. You are in good hands with Dr Rao and his team.

I was waiting for this appointment for months and was really disappointed when finally got it. I literally spent less than a minute in Dr. Rao's office. He didn't even closely look at my face skin. He just said "We'll help you" and left the office. I thought he'd come back and explain to me what's happening to my skin and answer my questions. He never did-apparently there were more important patients. Then the nurse came with a prescription and also said that the doctor recommends laser treatment (which is way above what I can afford). The nurse was very nice and the star is for her.

I came in with cystic acne a while back. Dr. Rao and his team gave me a treatment that has pretty much changed my life. Forever grateful!

I've been seeing Dr. Rao for sometime now. Always willing to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

This office has become less of a dermatology clinic and more of a cosmetic clinic, which is a shame. I really liked Dr. Rao & have been going to him for years but lately the focus has been more on pushing his own skin care line than writing actual prescriptions. I spent an hour in his office today and left with no actual prescription but was given a run down on his $97 alternative.

I will be asking my family doctor to refer me elsewhere.

Nurse was so pleasant, informative and took her time to answer all my questions! Dermatologist (s) was kind, patient and super helpful!
I was seen earlier than my scheduled appointment … I’m sure office was busy but staff didn’t show it!
The only down side of my visit was parking was hard to find had ti park a couple of blocks away but it was a nice day and not an issue walking!

My personal experience of the care and attention at this clinic is light years above professional care.

Overbooked all the time, have to wait at least 1 hour before even someone shows up… and that’s not even a doctor, to see a doctor you gotta wait even more than that…
Don’t recommend especially for families with small kids, because you have to wait a super long time!

My family and I have been going to him for years and he has always given us the best service possible. He is very sincere and compassionate when it comes to his patients. His staff is very helpful as well, especially his nurse Airan!

Dr Rao Canceled my appointment just hours before, I drove from Fort McMurray to Edmonton the night before just to come to this appointment after months of waiting for his office to contact me. Now I have to reschedule and spend another $400 on Gas, meals and accommodations to come to another appointment. I am Extremely disappointed.

The clinic opens at 9, my appointment was at 9. It as 9: 05 I was already inside a room waiting for the doctor. First a nurse came, then a lady came telling me that works with Dr Rao, makes some questions and leave, than another lady comes and starts giving me some treatment options, peeling, laser and creams and to follow her if I wanted to buy it. But how they're gonna treat me if I didn't even talked to the doctor? She told me that she would talk to him and he would be coming to see me. It was 10: 15 and nothing! I just left. It's so disrespectful and unprofessional giving me treatment without being diagnosed from a doctor. They told me that the cream I needed I would have to buy it from them, but I for me to expense to my insurance, they would have to provide the receipt and the prescription from the doctor and they told me that they would give me just the receipt, not the prescription. A lot o red flags! Really disappointed. I'll ask my family doctor for another referral. I prefer wait for a treatment than going back to this clinic.

Totally impressed, it is the best service I’ve had anywhere in years, appointments were scheduled and on time within five minutes. Dr Rao and his staff are second to none, very thorough and professional and efficient. Definitely five star service

I've been working with Dr. Rao since January to get my stubborn acne (struggling for 10+ years) under control. I've never been happier with my skin and it is thanks to him and his wonderful nurses. I cannot recommend this clinic enough. Very clean, treats patients with respect, and is always timely with your appointments.

I have been a Dr. Rao patient since 2018. I have found Dr. Rao and his staff to be very professional, welcoming and helpful in helping me learn of and manage my disease. As I reside in NWT, this clinic has also accomodated my medical travel paperwork needs. I wholeheartedly recommend Rao Dermatology as I find them to be both respectful and a positive responsive partner in my healing and health.

Like most medical professionals these days, Dr. Rao is a legalized pill pusher who can't treat anything if the treatment doesn't make some pharmaceutical giant millions or billions of dollars.

I was referred to this clinic by my Dr. And i was promptly called by the clinic to confirm an appointment date and also offered a space left by a cancellation. I was messaged to confirm the time and address.when i arrived i was prepped by the friendly medical staff and Dr. Rao was so positive and friendly and thankfully gave me good news regarding several very dark skin spots… not cancerous! …. But they were removed quickly and painlessly. The Dr spent as much time as i needed to answer questions and give some related information. I’ll definitely recommend this Dr and this clinic!

I attended the laser aesthetics course, it was an excellent course. The teacher (Andrea) is extremely knowledgeable & makes the course interesting. There was a lot of hands on training with a variety of different skin conditions to observe & treat using a wide selection of different lasers. We had the opportunity to learn skincare regimes that compliment the laser treatments with fabulous products. I left there with confidence knowing which laser to use for different treatments, looking forward to a new career in laser aesthetics.

I’ve been going to Dr RAO for years now and I can never trust any other dermatologist in Edmonton! Dr. Rao is a knowledgeable, professional and understanding doctor who takes time to listen to his patients and knows exactly what to do! Every time I walk in there, it feels like home. The staff and reception are super polite and extremely professional.

Rao dermatology helped me combat my severe acne and i am so thankful for what they have done! There was one instance where i had an appointment and i had to wait 40 minutes to get into the room.but i see that as an isolated occurrence.other than that, everything has been fantastic.

Needed an urgent consultation for a patient with severe dermatological problems. Consulted Dr Rao through myderm consult. Dr. Rao came through within hours and gave for the patient much needed diagnosis, treatment and relief. Many many thanks to him.

I am a Personal Care Formulator; 27 years now, and have created countless formulas to try and heal my skin. None worked as the problems lay beyond my ability to heal through topicals.

The pain and embarrassment of my condition was both frustrating and depressing. I have known Dr. Jaggi Rao for several years, but last year he took me in as his patient. I had lost so much sleep, weight and work from the severity of my condition that I did not know how I could maintain my job and when I returned home from work each day I collapsed and did not want to move.

Dr. Rao, the nurses and all of the staff are very professional, helpful and friendly. The lotion that Dr. Roa has developed, ActivMD, is absolutely awesome. When I put this lotion on after showering or hot tubing, my skin retains enough moisture that my Eczema does not flare up. My wife and my daughter both use it for a face moisturizer and claim that it's better than anything else on the market and the price is very reasonable.

The people at the front desk don't answer the phone, they sit there and play on their personal phones ignoring calls. They don't return messages either. Then they charge you $150+ for a 2 minute procedure. Awful service.

I have seen Dr. Rao for several issues and he has always been professional and extremely helpful. Wonderful clinic and would recommend without hesitation.

I have been going here for years, Dr Jaggi Rao always spends quality time to diagnose and address my skin concerns. I have had acne and other skin issues in the past and he took the time to diagnose and give proper treatment to resolve any issue. My skin looks great now and I always recommend or refer friends and family to see him for any skin concerns. Admin staff and nurses are also kind and provide great care.

Relatively seamless system in place re Covid-19, but of a longish wait in the waiting room but once into the inner sanctum, was quick, efficient and professional. Dr Rao was lovely and I got a complimentary blue light treatment to expedite the healing. But afterwards I had to follow the arrows out if the facility so was unable to make a follow up appointment, felt a little cast adrift. Overall I would recommend because this is far and away the most pleasant dermatology clinic I have ever been too.

Dr. Rao, his team of nurses and staff are some of the most amazing people I have been so lucky to meet and get to know.
Dr. Rao has been nothing but patient with all my weird questions and has always offered a solution. He has always greeted me with a smile and takes the time to ask about what's new and exciting in my life (he even remembers what I tell him in my last appt and asks about it in my next appt). I desparately came into his office 2 years ago looking for help after having a baby, my csection had caused me all sorts of heartache. Dr. Rao helped me every step of the way in getting back to who I am today.
His team of nurses are all amazing, they will always take the time to explain any procedure and make sure you are comfortable with whatever decision you make.
His front end staff will always greet you with a smile, a compliment or a quick chat about whatever that really makes you feel like you are part of a family not just another patient or $.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Been to this guy twice for the same issue I've had for more than 6 years, he shrugged me off to an allergist and basically told me there is nothing he can do. His appointments last from 5 to 10 minutes and he doesn't even listen to what you say. Don't bother wasting your time with him or the allergist he sends people to sideri.

I suffer from seborrheic dermatitis and
I’ve been using steroid cream for years as prescribed from my family doctor. Side effects of steroid cream is that it thins the skin and causes pigment changes. Which made me self conscious.

I had a consultation at Rao Dermatology and they prescribed a couple of cleansers and creams which work better then the steroid cream. No side effects which is major. My skin feels great and my confidence has risen. So I genuinely thank Rao Dermatology for their help.

Would not recommend, I've seen the mess this doctor made our of the skin of someone I know. I wouldn't trust this clinic period.

Super poor service and rude staff. And unprofessional Dr Rao and team. They didn’t explained the details about process and too hurry. Never recommend this clinic. I want to give ZERO STAR.

We took our teenage daughter here for almost a year, once a month. 9 hour round trip from Saskatchewan. We became concerned that the lazer treatment wasn't actually working. So we asked and were told that it really wasn't. Huge expense and no results. Seems rather scammish to keep taking someone's money for treatment when you know it's not working.

I had a fantastic experience at Rao dermatology clinic. I had many questions before the consult appointment and the reception staff were knowledgeable and friendly in responding.
When I had another question the reception staff confirmed with the nurse and followed up with me. I had been contemplating a few things after a “milestone” birthday but wanted to still look like myself but a little more fresh. I wanted to make sure that upon my return to work after the weekend I would just look rested and not obviously altered. From my arrival at the beautiful bright relaxing reception / waiting area to the consult in the treatment room I couldn’t have felt more welcomed. Reception staff Kyle was so very kind and showed me around while I waited for the nurse. Sandra was incredibly sweet and took the time to listen to what my concerns were and what result I was looking for. I didn’t feel rushed and Sandra did an amazing job at giving me the most natural set of lips I wished I’d been born with. In addition she worked her magic on my forehead and 11 lines that has made me look more awake but still allowing some movement so I don’t look frozen. Everyone has different goals when considering injectables/treatments and I do appreciate that the staff listened to what I wanted and were able to help me achieve it. There was no pressure or hard sales pitch. I highly recommend going to Rao dermatology. Thanks so much. I’ll be back.

I had an appt January 9th and was nervous about my appt. My daughter came with me and was my support. Upon arriving, I checked in with "Sandy", who made me feel comfy & welcome. She greeted with with the best smile and genuine warmth that my anxiety melted away.
We sat in a beautiful bright modern waiting room with many ipads, sadly which were not working which disappointed my daughter.
Had my appt and the doctor was confident, positive and said no worries.
Got my prescription and walked back to reception, where i got to see "Sandy" again. She had a huge warm smile and asked if I was ok.
Right there, I knew I had to say something about my visit.
"Sandy" was my highlight of the day. She talked to me, made me feel welcome and lifted my spirits.
She deserves recognition and If I ever had to come back, I pray to see her again, to have that smile, short chat and genuine warmth.

They are so friendly and accommodating. The fact that they fit me in while I was being difficult with my other late appointments was such a nice surprise. I kept reassuring them that I CAN reschedule but I was very excited for my treatment. They REALLY have accommodated me multiple times, have reassured me when nervous and have gone above and beyond. The front desk is amazingly sweet and the nurses have all been top notch. Sandra's always so kind and treats you like family. Always would recommend.

Poor service. Please learn how to book appointments properly. I shouldn't have to sit and wait for the dr to have a break/ eat lunch/ or finish with other patients. Perhaps don't overbook and then leave patients to wait around for you.

You expect patients to have the decency to cancel 48 (business) hours before appointments yet you don't have the decency to be on time. Unacceptable to wait over 45 mins on a appointment booked a month in advance - this isn't a walk in GP.

Amazing inside. The receptionist tho on many occasions have been.rude and snobby. Lack of customer service for sure. Nurses and esthetician’s are awesome

I felt a bit rushed through, and wish that more time would have been spent on talking about realistic results, but overall it was fine. Kind dermatologists.

I didnt really like the fact that we don't get to choose our preferred Dr. After long time we get appointment, and it's very displeasing to know that you're not even meeting the Dr of your own preference.

I am absolutely amazed at how wonderful my experience was at the Rao Dermatology Centre. They treat you like gold. They explain everything in detail, take time to answer all questions and make you feel at ease. From the receptionist to the assistant to Dr Rao, each one is kind, respectful and does everything to make sure you are comfortable. The clinic is very nice and spotless. I have been treated before at a different clinic for leg veins and had to go more than 15 times and didn't see any results. It has only been 5 days and I can tell even through the support stockings that they are fading! I would highly recommend Dr Rao and his clinic.
