I was told that my student line of credit would not be charged interest until I finished school. This was something I asked specifically about and I was told incorrect information. I am now paying each month, and I was not planning on this. Please learn your products advisors.

It is difficult to reach an advisor at this particular branch. After several phone messages, we are still waiting to hear back from our financial advisor.

I had an appointment with Marilyn Hilderman, the “Mortgage Specialist” to evaluate my financial situation and documents to let me know how RBC can give me the mortgage package to purchase my first house.
WITHOUT even letting me to get into her office in the RBC branch, she stood in her office entrance door and put her hand on the door frame and said: “ I reject your mortgage application regardless where your income comes from”.
Unprofessional, super disrespectful, impolite, careless about the customer and arrogant were the characters I saw in her behavior.
Please be careful when you expect a professional service from RBC and from MARILYN HILDERMAN!

Mo and his team always take extra time to help each customer; he has gone out of his way several times to assist me with my businesses. It is great to see the manager leading by example and not sitting in an office all day. I highly recommend the Royal Oak branch.

I was just in this branch this morning to pay for my credit card bill. There were 4 people in line including myself. All where white except for me. An african american man came out and approached each one in line to ask what he can do for them EXCEPT for me. I WONDER WHY?

I just want to share my banking experience with this branch, The whole team is there to help, we make manual deposits quite often and they're friendly, competent and given the ability to help. Branch manager Mohammed Kardar have gone above and beyond this week to make sure my banking needs with this branch is easy and hassle-free and this is consistent with how we've always been treated by everyone at this branch.

I recently received the offer from RBC and decided to accept the offer. I went to RBC branch that located in Royal Oak. I was pleased to meet Banking Advisor Simon Ajeniya, who helped me with my needs and responded on all my questions. I would like to express my gratitude to Mutual Funds Representative Azadeh Chaharlang-Katwand with her explanation and advice. Thank you so much for your welcoming atmosphere and for your competence. I would rate my experience on 10 if I could!

Was dealing with Marilyn Hilderman for a mortgage. I found her to be completely unreliable. She guaranteed an interest rate for a 60 day period and did not follow through. When questioned on it she said the bank changed the rate and she couldn't help. Why even guarantee then? For emails prior to completion of the mortgage contract, she would answer one question and not read the whole email. After everything was signed I emailed 3 times and left a voicemail with questions on the terms with no response from her. She just rushes through every thing to get your signature then nothing. There is a lot of hype around her name so we felt lucky to deal with her at first, now its just some one trying to move the most numbers with no thought or true assistance for the borrowing parties.

It's not bad so far but I was much happier to go beacon hill branch better and faster. I can't reach any rbc CSR on phone to ask about a certain subject this is frustrating!

Absolutely horrible! Tried paying my Line of Credit that’s the only product I have with this bank, Took over 20mins to do, 72 year old bank manager Linda absolutely hates her job, staff is under trained but it comes from upper management 100%! Lack of customer service and appreciation, I do not recommend this branch and manager needs some serious review plus coaching. Or to be honest needs to retire.

Went into the bank as I wanted to set-up an appointment (live or virtual) to talk to an advisor. Was told they do not offer customer service and that I should go online and will find what I need there. Employee did not answer any further questions I had or try to assist me. Got the message that they did not want my business and will be taking it elsewhere.

It was, today, extremely frustrating when calling the number on the website for a simple question if the bank would have at hand a small amount of euros. There was absolutely no way to get through the automated voice. Even though it kept repeating that I will be transferred to an agent I kept getting disconnected.

I’m very happy meeting Ms. Paula Chen since we emigrated here in Canada in 2016. She’s our advisor to all our financial matters and has always been very helpful. Very passionate, caring.and patient. Really knows what she does and does it with excellence. So whichever branch she’s assigned to, she will always be an asset and we will surely follow her no matter where she goes. This used to be a good bank, been with them for over 10 years not that they care about loyalty. They have significantly fallen behind other banks.

Cockroaches.lots of them working at this location. Stupid people that don't know how to do their job. I will definitely change the location and maybe change the bank as well. New people with 0 training. Left a message to the manager to call me back.what do you think, did she call? No.

I used to love going to this branch cuz their service was faster than others branch. And they used to have really nice and helpful staffs. Today my experience with this lady who name Maria was not good. She typed the draft incorrect and we didn't checked properly till we got into the car that wen we notice it was wrong. When we bring it inside and asked if she could help change it. This lady having a bad attidude said why don't I checked first and her face was full of attitude. She shouldn't be in front counter as customers service. Thus will drive your business away.

Thank you! I made a significant error at home during online banking and the staff were able to help me out today. Thank you. We have also used this branch for our mortgage and they really came to the table for us. Appreciate the support.
