Every time I visit, I had a great experience. Everyone is helpful and nice, specially Cindy Tong who is an incredibly amazing mortgage specialist with RBC.

Worst experience ever. Came in for an issue with a credit card application issue after being directed to by the RBC call centre, front line staff were unable to help us and made us make an appointment. We asked multiple times if an appointment would be able to resolve our issue. She assured us yes. Come in for our appointment the advisor said there was nothing she could do other than a new application with no sign up bonus. So essentially RBC wasted our time and provided horrible service.

It was busy Monday morning for August 28,2023. When I walked in this RBC branch.
People who had appointments were given preferences over walk ins.
I walked in and started at number 8 in the waiting line. I waited for good 15 minutes in line which was totally amazing because I got to practice my proper standing postures.

So, online banking and making appointments are advised in time constraining situation OR someone who simply can’t wait for next available human being doing their best to help us on Monday morning.

Poor services. I opened an account online, and I was asked to walk into any branch to verify myself. I went to this branch and there was a long line. When it was my turn, they told me I had to make an appointment. When I attended the appointment, I was told the person whom I was supposed to meet is not working that day, and then a replacement was assigned. The person let me wait for 10 minutes.

Understaffed. ALWAYS. They don't care about your time.

Cash restictions.just try to take out over 2k cash.they will ask you a million questions.because all of their customers are criminals.

Don't keep cash here you can never get it out without wasting time coming back a different day.

Pathetic abuse of customers.

I feel really bad for the older customers.

Fake reviews too. That's sooooo sad.

Not enough tellers! I have 14 people in front of me. Staff are walking around but no one seems concerned about the line up. I have no choice but to use a teller when I am here.

This location has lots of parking and a drive thru teller. Inside, ATM has US$ option. If you need teller services, typically a short wait. They have extended hours and are open on Saturday.

Completely unresponsive. Impossible to contact. Doesn't return emails. Other than that, great service. Unbelievably bad experience. I would give ZERO stars if it were possible.

Terrible service- or no service. Had an issue that was an RBC error. Teller wasted a bunch of time, didn't understand and I asked to see the manager. The manager was rude, dismissive and didn't make any attempt to help. Said she was busy and would call me later that day.never heard from her again.

I then went to the RBC branch at the University of Calgary and had the exact opposite experience. Spoke with the Asst Manager Mahir who understood the issue immediately, escalated it and followed up until it was corrected.

At the Northland branch, there is usually a long line for the tellers, only a couple actually helping clients (though others are standing around). Only reason to go to this branch is to use the ATM, definitely not if you need any kind of service.

I just switched banks from Scotiabank and Nabeel Seyd (that is my best attempt at remembering his name) answered all of my many questions, helped me set up another savings account and apply for a credit card. He was super friendly, experienced and helpful. Would give 10 stars if I could:)

Trying to access a real person is beyond frustrating. Hung up by automation many times because I could not provide client card number (it was stolen). Finally got through to an "advisor". Told me I had to talk to bank staff. Transfered me to a mailbox that was full and unless I could provide a number, it hung up on me. Rinse and repeat many times. Could not even book an appointment online in person (need to get new keys cut for safety deposit box). Beyond frustration. Only reason I gave 2 stars is that some of the staff at the branch work hard and don't deserve a low rating for the laziness of RBC in general.

I wish I could give negative stars. This is the worst bank branch ever. Worst customer service. Froze my accounts for a ridiculous reason since 3 days now. Agents lie that they've fixed it just to get rid of you and the problem is still there. They've always been terrible at customer service but I did think they'd go as far as now denying me banking services with zero communication. Visited another branch to get this resolved, same incompetence on display. So it's an RBC thing and not a branch thing

Long story short: I had a private document that was needed to verify myself, teller tried to scan it (keep in mind I used this document a couple times before without the bank scanning it), I told her not to. She then was doing something suspicious on her computer and I told her I don't want her to record anything on the document in her computer, she told me she wasn't. I went back home and still felt suspicious, I called the RBC support line, and they told she recorded the details of the document in my profile notes.

We have been customer here for over 15 years. Have seen service at this specific location go from excellent to borderline to now pathetic. Essentially a total waste of time and exemplary negative energy. Incredible achievement! We are done. Have had the worst service in recent memory. Don't bother going here, find another location or better yet another bank. Time to walk the talk and walk away. Needs a total revamp of what customer service needs to be with empathetic managers who could perhaps listen first. What a fiasco. You reap what you saw.

This bank is extremely professional & it is always so pleasant to go here! Mukund Mistry is my bank advisor and he is such a pleasure to work with. He explains everything exceptionally well so it is easy to understand & making financial choices seem so much easier with his help. I strongly recommend this bank and the bank advisor Mukund!

Great bank and branch, excellent and personal experience here but this branch is always a very busy branch. Allow yourself plenty of time.

The people is very very very slow, the new ATM doesn't work if you deposit cash your money is on hold.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced!
Dealing with Hana Peskar (Banking advisor) was painful. She was rude and condescending. I am left feeling awful and frustrated.
I wouldn't bank with RBC if you paid me. Just awful!

This branch is a nightmare to do business banking with. If I could give the branch a zero, I would. They supposedly offer a dedicated business desk but anytime I have been in there to do business banking the dedicated desk is seldom open and I end up waiting in the regular line where wait times are brutal. My time is no more or less valuable than anyone else's. Rather its the principle of offering a service and not living up to expectations. I've been told repeatedly to just go to the business desk and someone will help out. Trust me, this never happens. Today, it so happens that the banking desk was open, I went directly to that desk and waited in the small line. However, people waiting in line for regular banking made comments/insults, thinking that I was skipping their line. I might have the same perception if I didn't have a business account and didn't realize that there was a business desk. The situation wasn't assisted by the lack of signage indicating that the wicket booth and desk next to the wicket booth are in fact intended for business banking. Also, the staff needed to clearly explain the situation but this didn't occur. Other branches have their business desks clearly marked and properly staffed but not at this branch. As a result today customers doing regular banking, myself doing business banking, and the frontline staff were setup for failure. Customers doing business banking shouldn't be made to feel they are doing something wrong or be insulted because they are using a different line as part of business banking. I ended up having to leave and go to another branch to get done what I needed to. This is an epic service failure on RBC's part. If you can't offer a dedicated service then get rid of it and I will gladly take my business to a competitor who will live up to their service promises.
