I am amazed at how bad a branch can get over the years I have been using this branch since I moved to the area in 2003 and have been with RBC since I was 10 years old in the last 10 years it has become so bad I have started banking else where but I first need them to fix there mistake that they made of 4 months ago have been told by them that it is going to be fixed and they still can do one thing right so drive the extra 15 mins and go to another branch or even better I another bank.
Always a long wait at this branch. They have reduced the number of tellers and they work at 25% of what should be considered normal speed. Banks make record profits while customers wait in line.
Oh my GOD, what a experience. Tracy the manager was the most professional and respectful Manager I had spoke to in my entire life is US, Canada and Mexico all togheter. Also (Lili or Ilina) sorry, I'm terrible with names

I went to this branch because I am interested in a line of credit and the advisor AMY XING told me that I could not get one because I had to provide strong evidence that I want this line of credit, clearly this is a lie since I have many friends who have a line of credit and they didn't have to give proof of anything, also if you look on the RBC website and it says: a line of credit can be an ideal way to ensure that you have the funds available for unexpected or even daily expenses. AMY XING is a rude, discriminatory and insensitive person because I am looking for this line of credit because my Dad has cancer and I need to help him, this lady gives a very bad image to this branch since I have never had a problem with them but this is already unpleasant.
I would never come back to this branch. Employees are rude. They think the public work for them and not the other way away. Bad attitude (verni). Poor customer service
The staff here are so rude and for what? The tellers here are so impatient, there’s only like one good lady but even she sometimes doesn’t even understand what you’re trying to say. The advisors are ok, Courtney was very nice and patient. I am a uni student but i’ve been with rbc since i was in Jr. High, I know how the bank works and i know the rules and laws. Every time I go to this specific branch the tellers always underestimate me and don’t even try to listen to my concerns or requests. Just because i’m a student doesn’t mean that i don’t know how the bank works, I know the rules and I know what i’m entitled to. I am not naive. Please fix your customer service.absolutely atrocious.
The European lady in the front is rude and has no customer skills whatsoever you should not be working In a bank if you can’t bother to show some customer service I. E smile, mr, mrs, Apologies, thank you’s, etc, seemed a bit racist as well
Je n'ai jamais été autant decue par le temps d'attente et par un agent le moins professionel qu'on puisse imaginer. Déjà j'ai attendu plus de 45 minutes pour finalement pouvoir parler à l'agent Mohammed qui me pose une série de plus de 5 questions et me fait la remarque à la suite que je devrais avoir ces informations en tête. Il me demande de faire une réservation pour parler à un agent via le site de RBC. Ce que j'essaie mais les disponibilités ne me conviennent pas. Il refuse de me passer son Manager et par la suite me raccroche non sans m'avoir demandé de rappeler leur ligne si je veux parler à un Manager.
I am RBC clients from 17 years, today I booked appointment at Coventry Hills branch in Calgary and the manager Amy Xing was the rudest manager that I have seen in my life at Royal bank. She have asian accent and was unable to explain the difference between two accounts and I asked if I can talk to another person and she said we don't have one and when I asked for manager's number, she said I am a manager but her card doesn't say that she is a manager. Finally I got manager number, but she made me change my banking to another bank.
Extremely Rude staff. Tried to get a cheque certified by a lady and was told in a very rude manner that I couldn't unless I was a client. Wasnt even nice about it. Gave me a rude look and shook her finger at me. I asked to talk to a manager but apparently he was in a meeting. I was then helped by someone else who gave me the option and actually took my cheque and cashed it for me for a $5 charge. Only to be stared at the whole time with a disgust look on their faces. NEVER coming back here again.
Very slowly service, only Bla Bla, not service. When you ask them why, tell you due to Covid. They are in front, 2 stay at phone, and just one person help you. This is a real bank!
The service is polite but prompt service is a zero. They don't have enough people helping customers. As in, often 1 person working the windows and helping a customer who Is doing above normal stuff. People standing in line waiting. Waiting. Waiting. Horrible. If you have to go in person, find a different bank or different location. So the 2 stars for the friendly staff. Zero for prompt, efficient service.
If I could give this branch a complete zero or lower it would be well deserved. Don't waste your time. And the branch manager Julia has zero value for the customers or giving clients proper service. I visited this branch today and can attest to exactly how poorly ran it truly is. Sadly alot of what's posted in previous comments ring true and true. If I could give this branch 0 stars I would. Not only do they provide terrible customer service but they DO NOT stick to their word when they agree on a date for anything for that matter. Had issues with this branch numerous amount of times and they still screw up. I wouldn't recommend going to this branch at all, even if you have to drive 20 kms to go to another branch do it. It's better then dealing with their lack of customer service.
Good in-person service. Their website is horrible. Websites really need to pass some sort of usability test in order to be published. The website has a SITE MAP. A site map is used when the website itself is too clunky and cumbersome to navigate around. If you click different links in a certain order the website will fail to load the next page like what the heck is that? If you do online banking, stay away from this bank. I feel like they just neglect their online banking website and only touch up on it to be an inconvenience. Once again, if you value your sanity, just don't touch their online banking services here. Others have said that their in-person services are pretty bad, honestly, it's a bank, they're all going to be like that.
I am just want say i would love to say kashy is awesome. He care about my problem help me and go beyond his way. I wish rbc has all advisor like him. You should promote him. He has passion to help client. No body take time like him to help people. I appreciate him.
The staff at this RBC location are excellent! I’m always greeted with a smile and they go above and beyond to make my transactions straight forward and easy. Great team!
The slowest customer service reps. No regard for peoples time in the line ups. 2 reps during busy period. I try to avoid coming here as much as possible The one personal banking rep was the worst, luckily she retired. Just horrible here.
Needs more tellers especially during the busy times. Standing in line now for 10 minutes with 5 other people with only 2 tellers and the last 3 people they have talked with have been taking around 8 to 10 minutes.
This bank has been the best of the ones I use. They have extended hours, well lit ATM area for night use, very helpful phone service as well as tellers and great US/Canada banking. The only change I’d make is having to make an appointment to open a bank account. To the person below who had their credit card limit raised they would have sent you a letter too plus an electronic message if you do online banking. That’s how I found out. Anyway it takes one quick call or email to get your credit card limit decreased again. A bank offering you money is not a reason for a bad review!
They have no respect for other people's time you book an appointment you go there they say that the advisor that you have appointment with was double-booked so you can go with someone else. It has not happened only once this is the second time very very disappointed.
Just popped in at 9: 20 this morning to take out some cash. My son who is potty training needed to use the bathroom but we were told there is no bathroom. So we had to go to Starbucks. There is no way there is no bathroom and there was only one other customer.

If there was a -5 star rating this would be not enough to give this brach! I had the worst experience ever! Just read my story guys this is insane and over the top. So I visited this branch on Feb 6,2019, I came in to get a money order. Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention what was the name of a bank teller that helped me out. She seemed nice and friendly and I didn't have any problems that day. HOWEVER, yesterday I received a letter from RBC saying my credit limit was increased which I didn't even know of. I'm freaking out and calling the customer service thinking I had an identity fraud or something and apparently that bank teller that was helping me out DID INCREASE MY CREDIT LIMIT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! We didn't even discuss my credit card with her that day! I am so mad, this is so unethical! Why would you increase my limit if I'm not asking for it? !? Without my consent! I didn't want my credit limit to be increased, I'm comfortable with my current limit. How can I trust a bank with my money after this? Unfortunately, I'm out of town and I can't go to the branch and talk to the manager, but as soon as I'm back I will! This is so unprofessional.
I had an appointment for 2pm I was here early which I didnt mind so I took a seat since there wasnt anyone at the from to let know that I'm here for an appointment it is now 2: 42pm still havent got in for my appointment and it's dead in here no line up no rush not even a person to tell me how long it's going to take this is ridiculous!
I've been using this branch for well over a decade. Every adviser we've seen has been professional and helpful. Currently working with Adam who has been great.
Whenever we've needed to use the tellers they are quick and helpful.
Rude clerk who did not listen to me, and got offended seemingly taking it personally when I asked if someone else could look at it. She said no. When I finally asked to speak to the manager - Christine - she was even more incompetent and rude, with no idea of how to de-escalate a situation.
