I didn't have a great experience. Firstly, they sent my new credit card to the wrong location and couldn't send it back to my home branch. I then ended up waiting an hour while the teller was on hold with the other location only to tell me afterward that that account was suspended. They then bombarded me with questions and asked me to show some ID which was acceptable. However, they wanted a physical copy of a passport or phone bill which took it off the edge especially when I could supply a digital copy. Not only was going to this branch a waste of time, but they also couldn't do anything for me.

Not a good Branch!

Updated review* still horrible and greatly incompetent. They have an excuse for why everything takes longer than it should meanwhile other branches are doing the same activities in minutes not days or weeks like this location. Apparently it was going to take more than 17 days for a line or credit app here after waiting 4 days for an appointment. Not only was I misinformed about the required documentation but they also partially rushed me out asking me to send things from home to their email.

I walked out and drove across town to a different location, finished an application on the spot and will get an answer in 3 days. Literally took 5 minutes from walking in.
What is wrong with the tamarack branch? These employees either don’t care or are untrained. Why can other branches do what you claim you can’t?
Avoid the Tamarack branch like the plague. You will not accomplish a single thing.

Went to deposit cash through their atm machine and the machine suddenly got jammed and took my money. Hoping the tellers could help me because they were there when it happened. Nadaf called next day informing me she will call me back and 2 days have passed the person did not call me back and never replied to my email. It seems that they have forgotten about my case and felt unimportant even if I have informed her that it's for emergency. Now I have to call customer service to find other route to get help. A call or email will be more appreciated than clueless.

Dissappointing service. Went in to change banking info for our mortgage payments and the staff who assisted us was rude and not approachable at all. Will for sure look for another bank to renew our mortgage this year.

Very poor customer service, bad language barriers and the assistant manager was the most unpleasant out of all.

I left my temporary card at home which is about 45 minutes away, I was waiting on my new debit card to come via mail. I needed cash out of my account so I went into the branch and “Sumeet Sidhu” a representative issued me on her own regard a new temporary card, without my consent or knowledge, she also did not give me my new temporary card. Thus making my card I did actually end up receiving in the mail - null and unable to use and me having to wait another 10-14 days to receive yet another proper debit card.

The assistant manager Dora Keith was quick to defend her employee, not acknowledging my concerns and was just flat out awful to deal with, especially in this situation. Stating that whoever made the mistake, it didn’t matter to her or the branch and that my concerns aren’t heard. Dora was extremely unprofessional and her employee Sumeet was in the wrong and what she did was unacceptable. Acknowledgement at the very least was all I expected as I know “they’re humans who make mistakes” however that wasn’t even the case.

I am now looking into switching banks to avoid these situations & employees like Dora in the future.

Worse service ever. Spatially the panjabi lady at the front. Tellers are super slow. Have to wait 1 hour just to get some money.

The Guy Pav Sekhon behaviour was not helpful we go there all the time for change for business because of Covid 19 we have to stay away from counter we can not rubber properly.he even don’t know how to hand over coin change my quarter role open and fell on floor and he even not offer help, no smile no welcome.

Not recommended to go to that branch

I had appointment with Sumita yesterday and she commented on my rugged jeans and said something bad! You really need to chill, this is Canada not India! You have no right to say anything whatever I am wearing! I didn’t say anything right away coz I respect you being from same community. Just change your thinking please (its 21st century) and thank you!

This is the worst RBC branch I've ever been to. They are ALL useless. No help, very rude and they lie. Most likely transferring all my services else where.

I am disgusted by the service I received. I went in to exchange rolls, close a credit card, and pull out money. It was over a half hour. The man immediately told me that they don't close credit cards i have to call the number.

I said- isn't this an RBC? Isn't this an RBC creditcard? So- please close this account. I shouldn't have to call the number when you are sitting right infront of me.

Maybe it was because I am a woman that this man felt like he could talk down to me and not be helpful. I am going to slowly close all of my RBC accounts- they do NOT deserve my business.

The customer service is very horrible. The tellers were sometimes kind, but most times they had made me very angry and insulted. I do not go to the branch any more. I lost the positive prospect for the RBC Bank through the unkind and indifferent tellers of the branch. The branch dose not worth to receive one star.

I have used the service for around one year at the branch. I felt the racialism from the tellers. If I have a car, I want to go to other branches.
They need the education for the customer services.

Most tellers of this branch are very rude and bossy. Whenever I went to this branch to use the bank services, I felt angry and hurt. Last time, when I was there, I complained about that to the teller. Beside the teller, other coworkers came and defended her. The branch seems like a family business, not offering a bank service as a branch of the RBC Bank. I decided not to go the branch any more. Even though it takes more time, I go to an another branch. Because of the branch services, I, gradually, do not like RBC Bank. If there is a Zero star, or a negative point, I will choose it.

Had me wait in line forever as the guy was done with people he put up the closed sign continued waiting to make change and they refused because I'm not banking with them, complete waste of time just try g to get change as soon as I mentioned I was with a different bank they didn't try get me to switch or anything just told me to go there so will not be sending any business their way ever TD bank next to the RBC helped and I had no problems that I didn't bank with them and much friendlier and faster staff

Staff here are friendly and helpful. Usually a long wait, though. Could use more tellers. Overall, my experiences have been positive.
