Horrible bank. Had my account defrauded. Went into ask for an investigation and they made me feel like I did something wrong. Never retured my missing money and haven't heard anything from them. I no longer am a customer and wouldn't recommend rbc.disgusting that I pay for a service like this.

Went there last August 14 to deposit at the business teller. The teller was not helpful at all and RUDE. She needs to be reminded that she works in customer service industry. Also, I checked most of the rating of this branch are 1 star. Why?

I deposited an USD cheque in ATM from my employer (sane employer and that deposits payroll in my account bi-weekly). RBC froze all my accounts- no access. I called cust serv, advised me to go to a branch to show ID (would take 5 min). Once at branch they fumbled for 40min to unfreeze my accounts, no one was sure why my my accounts were froze for “fraud security “ as cheque was from my employer.
Left voice mail for branch manager to f/u with me over my complaint 12 days ago - no response. Phone cust serv regarding my complaint about mishandling my account 13 days ago - no response. Been with RBC for 35 years, have over 500k in investments and savings with them. I am now looking at switching to TD.

Went in for business banking at this branch at 3: 30 PM. No line up, Carol asked me to wait why she chatted with her co-worker and then she took her time to closed out her paperwork in an unmotivated altitude. I don't mind to wait why she is doing that. Then she asked me to go to re line up in the personal Isle why she has no one to serve! I was disgusted and
walked out.

I have had it with this bank and branch. Drive thru ATM cancelled transaction and kept our $73K donation cheque for earthquake victims while I was counting more money to deposit. I had already chosen the account I wanted to deposit to but instead of depositing it to the account we have to wait for them to "investigate" the situation. I went in to spend 30+ min to wait for a CSR to open a ticket b/c noone at the branch has access to the ATM. She supposedly put a rush on the ticket but it has been more than 2 business days and no resolution. Spent another 30 min at the branch and more than an hour on the phone today with their call centre to redeem a GIC so I can send the money from our own accounts until the problem is resolved. Now I have to go back to the branch to waste who knows how much time because the person who helped me redeem GIC on the phone couldn't process a wire transfer. I think it's time to stop banking with RBC, move our business elsewhere.

Just a huge tank you for supporting your branch RBC, u clearly show how much u like working there and not just wanting to jump home when other people trying to do their business. THE WORST RBC LOCATION IN EDMONTON JUST CHECK THE REST OF REVIEWS

Came here to deposit a cheque, didn’t show me how to use a deposit slip and refused my service. The girl was rude and said “shouldn’t have came here then”. Don’t waste your time here other banks in the area are more polite. They also have a investigating for discrimination.

5 open tills at the end of the month and line up out the door everytine I come to cash my cheque! Hire more staff or schedule more for the end of the month. Shouldnt take an hour to deposit a cheque.

Nothing but good things to say about the staff here. Very knowledgeable on all aspects from investing to daily banking. A year later I can't even get a staff member at my branch on the phone. So I have adjusted my review. It was a Five star now its a two start. Call the branch number get online banking not what I wanted they shouldn't publish numbers for branches if you can't contact someone AT that branch.

I received a cheque from a business customer. This is the home branch for the cheque. They would not certify the cheque because I was not a RBC customer. This means my subcontractors will not receive their pay on the first of the month. Thanks RBC for changing your rules to inconvenience people who are not your direct customer.
