Ami Fey was not a good person to deal with. She kept being rude to me and saying I was being rude I wasn’t yes I did raise my voice but it’s cause she was being rude and treating me like I was stupid. She said to me “omg what don’t you understand” when all I was was confused and wondering how they could do what they did to my account, And so much more she said to me that was very rude. Thought going in to the bank you get help but she just told me to get out of there cause she could not help me cause it was 7 minutes to closing (I was there for almost 2 hours trying to figure stuff out.) so if u go into RBC I would definitely not want to get help by Ami Fey.

The whole staff at the RBC in Lloydminster are super accommodating and make all my transactions and appointments a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend everyone to this branch, very well run.

Have decreased there staff to a point that you better have amount of time to stand in line. Doesn’t matter how often or what time you go in. Your waiting 30-45 mins minimum.

I've had my account with RBC for just over a year. When I opened my first account the staff were super accommodating. I was having trouble booking online because the earliest I could get was 2 weeks later. I ended up booking an appt 2 weeks from then but shortly after I got a call from someone at the Lloyd branch who asked if I wanted an earlier appt. They got me in that day at 7pm which worked awesome for my schedule that day. The staff at this branch are helpful and kind

Very poor service again! And just to pay a phone bill? Tellers make too many excuses for their poor service. Sorry is the common phrase at this paticular location for all tellers! I also heard another's man's call on his speaker phone when he was speaking to a woman who works at this bank. 1: 45 pm Thursday May 11th. The stuck up look on her face showed no regard to his concerns. You have private offices for private matters. Use them! Judging by the reviews past 6 months? Change is needed! This is a bank. Clients invest their trust, time & money into. Customer service, skilled trained people, happy staff should be top priority! Tellers look very incompetent when they need to ask supervisors for help & this happens too much!

I’ve been resisting leaving a review on here for a few years now, but due to recent events, I have to get this out there in hopes they’ll make some changes.

First off, the location and parking is terrible. They don’t open until 9: 30am, so you can’t even plan on going there first thing in the morning before downtown gets busy. Between this and the extremely slow service I tend to avoid it at all costs.

When I do need to physically go into the branch, the line is painfully slow moving. Even if there’s 1 or 2 people ahead, it’s still a 20+ minute wait to get to a teller.

My tipping point… I went yesterday to put a certified bank draft/tellers cheque from my other LOCAL bank into my account, and they PUT A HOLD ON IT! That’s the whole point of a bank draft! You could’ve at least made a phone call to verify it or something.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’ve never had an issue with a staff member there and they’re all nice and helpful. But there needs to be some changes to RBC’s protocols so they can keep up with the times. Also recommend opening a second branch or moving to a larger, less congested area. Everyone I know that banks here have the same opinion.

Hoping this reaches someone who can make some changes.

I was with RBC for over 20 years. In that time I acquired some debt in attempting to make my situation easier I found RBC too be no help at all none. After speaking and switching to another bank and realizing my options I've got my situation much more under control with much better people and rates. Goodbye RBC nothing nice to say.

Cant 3rd party deposit a business check
Yet every other bank in Lloydminster can. Its a business check. Would not do any banking with this bank. Negative experience

Very very slow service. I also brought in a certified bank draft from Synergy, with receipts and they held the funds. For the staff at this branch: a bank draft is not a cheque, and your policy about holding cheques doesn’t apply to a guaranteed bank draft. I expect to be reimbursed for my charges I paid in order to have a guaranteed draft. The whole point of paying to get it certified and guaranteed is because the funds are guaranteed by the institution who issued it. I had explained this to the teller. Also that we needed this money to make out payroll that day. So do to the branch managers obnoxious ego, hard working people were paid late. I know for a fact he could have cleared that draft as other locations have before. I hope that he is reminded that the people who bank with this RBC are his customers, and he is clearly (based on other bad reviews) not doing a very good job.

Your service in the past year has become so incredibly poor I’m surprised anyone would ever want to open an account with you.

You have little staff to assist people.

Your hours of business are terrible.

Most of your staff have little clue how to do their jobs; then having to wait even longer while the representative goes to ask another for assistance.

And just today; I take an hour off work to come in to do business and (guess what), you’re CLOSED EARLY!
No notice. No update on your webpage.
NOTHING.

Customers standing in your entry area all comparing stories of their own disgust in your institution.

Frankly, I’m about done with you.
I think it’s time to close down all accounts, cards, and mortgage and move to a Credit Union.

But I doubt even writing this will make any difference within your walls.

I at least hope people see this and think twice about doing business with you.

I’m absolutely sick and tired of going into this bank and them not even trying. I don’t recommend this bank to anyone
