Basically if it possible to fix your issue online or through phone call, don't go there, they know nothing, asking each other and reed info from my acc that I can do myself.

Kicked me out because apparently it would take too long for a wire transfer. I came in right before they closed. It is not my problem that most people finish their jobs at around when they close and that they have a line. Now my shipment for my business is delayed because they want didn’t want to take a long time to help me post my bills. I come in to the back because I need their assistance but I’m guessing they want everyone to just do online banking now.

Banking need ‘t be impersonal. Jenn Kovach and Sam Vashishth made my experience exceptional. Jenn went over and above to ensure that my questions were addressed. RBC should count itself fortunate to have Jenn and Sam on staff.

My initial experience experience with the banking advisor (LH initials) was great. Except his follow through skills are terrible. I had to constant follow up and eventually he just ghosted me entirely.

This was my first impression that I received when I wanted to switch from BMO to RBC.

The only reason I haven't changed my mind on switching banks is because RBC online account holder platform is a lot more user friendly than BMO and has a ton more self serve features so hopefully the in-person interaction with folks at this branch will be kept to a minimum.

I came in to the branch today and a different advisor helped clarify things a bit better, but one shouldn't have to go through this much trouble to switch banks. Except 2 weeks later we found out that the account was not set up correctly.

This branch is horrible, honestly.

Certified cheque from other major banks means nothing to rbc. So don't waist your money getting a certified cheque to rbc. Move to TD Bank.

We unfortunately just changed from BMO to RBC. What a joke. This is by far the worst experience we have ever had. After a month, going into the branch over a dozen times, and being on phone support almost every day, our accounts are STILL not set up properly. This branch is a joke. Then when we go in, the teller is all laughing about how she doesn't know what she is doing and hasn't done this in a long time. No wonder our accounts are all messed up! The manager will not return calls, and their team will duck your call at every expense. Then you call into online banking with an account that isn't set up properly so you don't even have an telebanking pic, nor has anyone told you how to set it up yet, and the autometed AI voice will hang up on you if you don't know. Not transfer you to someone.just hangs up on you. RUN to another bank.

Never thought I would go out of my way to review a bank, as it's never usually a great experience. Every bank has long lines and takes forever but this place is HORRIBLE. As in, how can it be this bad horrible. Everytime I go in there I want to leave RBC. How has no one done anything about this branch? !? Look at the other reviews. I mean really? So bad.

Huge lineup and only two RBC reps. One was tied up with a customer for longer than normal. A third rep eventually showed up.
For me, these banks would rather we deal with our stuff online.

I added a star because I had to write a review. I learnt that it is better to do all your banking needs online than go there and meet these people. The manager (I think her was Sheila) is rude, belligerent, arrogant and entitled. She wouldn’t even allow my 3year old son to use the bathroom because their vault was there. And when I complained about their customer service, she threatened to call the cops as she was intellectually and professionally inept to handle this minor situation. Also, RBC resolved the situation by just opening a complaint file and closing the file after a month. To conclude, this branch provides horrible customer service and no conflict resolution. Please only go there if it is absolutely necessary so you are not treated the way I was.

Client of RBC for 18 years- and will be getting our mortgage elsewhere as a specialist out of this location requested all our private information and then was not interested in ever getting back to us. Very disappointing work ethic. Not sure how you can be employed as a mortgage specialist and not do the work.
