RBC Royal Bank

Unfortunately the worst ripped off bank that is.untrustworthy and I dare say worse than highway robbers. They lock your account making excuses by deeming your recent open accounts restrictions and if you call them to explain customer service claims they don't have such information. Horrible scamming bank. Hopefully, karma and government shut this bank or impose very high fine and jail time as they would do with any common criminal

Worst experience I have ever had with a bank. If I could give a ZERO then I would. Opened an account online. Was not given any information, I. E.a acct nbr. Didn't get a card in the mail, NOTHING. I had no money in the account but they wanted to charge $20.00 to close the account. My wife did the same and they won't close the account, WHY? RBC put restrictions on my wife's account after a deposit was made. The restrictions have been for 2 weeks. NEVER GOING TO BANK AT RBC. This is how this bank makes money.

It was the worst service I've ever seen!
They are not attending their own appointment.
They have asked me about my 2 years working experience, NOA for 2 years, and lots of other papers just to open credit card. It means if I'm a newcomer, I can't open a credit account in RBC!

It's especially bad because I did open their credit card from home within 5 minutes. Just ridiculous.

Royal Bank has really abandoned NE Calgary. Their bank machine is actually closed in the evening, and anybody in the neighborhood has to travel a long way for the next one

Tonight, I had to rush into the bank to use the ATM, and to my dismay, I encountered two individuals inside who appeared to be using drugs. It was an uncomfortable and unsafe situation. I wonder why the bank doesn't have security measures in place, like a card-activated door, to prevent such incidents. It seems like this is a recurring problem at this particular location. I felt quite uneasy and didn't want to be exposed to the smoke from their activities, which was harmful to my lungs. This experience left me feeling dissatisfied and concerned for my safety.

Bank manager pretended she was a teller and stole, snatched the bill out of my hand without checking any security features and accused me of passing a fraudulent banknote. She told me to return 24 hours after and a customer that she was talking to went outside after I left and said to a street person that I "messed it all up" by calling police. She said she gave it to police but could not explain which security features failed or existed. The police said its strange and not the procedure normally. I have a high resolution image of the bill she stole and the police on three occasions said she never spoke to them and nothing in the computer or lost and found about my apparently stolen bill. I am waiting on client care to resolve before proceeding with police. She was very rude and unprofessional.

I had been to this brand to open a new account and I am very pleased with the customer service on this bank. Special thanks to Ms. Loomba who is extremely informative and helpful banking advisor. I could not be happier to give her 5 stars reviews at no doubt.
