Very long lines, short hours of operation, wrong information given for form needed to refund their mistake.
Had to go back twice to deal with the same issue. The bank made a mistake and authorized my account to pay someone else’s utility bill. Authorization is from a different province and the account is not linked to by debit card. So not even possible for it to be from my debit being compromised. It has to be error by bank or utility company not checking preauthorization name and number was correct from their end.
Very annoyed at wrong information given on first day so I need to go in twice. On second day staff stated the form could have been signed and completed the first day and there was no reason I had to come back. Very annoyed and needing to take time off from work twice unnecessarily for a bank issue on their end.
Also this was not even to get a refund! Just for them to acknowledge their mistake and investigate. Hopefully refund will happen, but won’t know for several days.

Worst and most crooked Branch in. CANADA! Michael Chen or whatever his name is, lied to me and stole 8500$ CAD from my checking account. In the process of legal action against their rude and crooked east Asian branch manager

Astonishingly long line ups. Bring a book (or two) because the wait time is loooong. The branch manager (Aardie?) is mean-spirited. I've been a Royal Bank customer for decades, and never would have believed so awful and nasty experience possible after having dealt with hundreds of sunny, helpful RBC staff across the country over the years. The only redeeming experience was dealing with a smiling fellow named Aubey, who deserved unreserved kudos.

One of the worst customer experience have ever had. Went to Bonnie Doon Branch, no one at customer service desk. Thought to go to teller, but only one teller and a lineup. Decided to go and sit on bench right outside the entrance and call to make appt. Talked with an RBC rep, who had the worst listening skills. Nevertheless, made an appt.for a week later! I won't come back here to deposit my cheque again. The service is not good. They are keep holding my cheque everytime I deposited. I will recommend to my friends and family not to go this location. The guy who helped me is so mean and he said to me you can go to other place if you want.
