I struggle to understand how RBC can offer such poor service, with limited and lazy staff. I wasted my time opening accounts with this branch.
Not even my investment accounts with the useless employee were opened, even after several e-mails charging me.
Bad experience!

This place is absolutely awful! Long line ups and no counter staff which is the norm. When I finally got to see a counter staff lady was very very abrupt and rude! I was paying IN money into my wife's account because the bank hours are garbage and did not fit into wife's working hours! Was told next time card would be taken away if I tried to do this again! I had my ID my wife's ID and her bankers card! I had done this transaction before with NO trouble! Lady was arrogant to say the least when she wished me ' a good day! ' Horrible bank horrible staff and terrible service! I am so glad I do not bank with this branch or bank! RBC try looking at your reviews and treating your customers with respect! This is the polite version!

I went to this RBC branch to print statements of my bank accounts. Alice Ngo and her colleagues were very welcoming and helped me get everything I needed in minutes. Much better than the neighbour CIBC branch where they finally couldn’t print CIBC statements for me. Thank you Alice!

Never go here for a mortgage. I had to send my paperwork back 4 times because of errors that I caught. I think Taylor Hood is too busy with her own small business to be concerned about what her real job is! TD bank got my business! RBC you missed out on 4 mortgages and more to come.

I never go to branch unless I absolutely have to.
During my last visit at Signal Hill branch, the system went down while I had an important banking matters. Ms. Trina Shust (Assistant Manager) was very professional and accommodating taking my info so Mr. Korbin could complete my transition when the system was up and running. The transaction was done the same day. Thank you both for your superior customer service!

I have been going to this branch for over 5 years.
The staff knows me as go in every 2 weeks to pay my credit card.
They have all new staff now
I went in to pay my credit card and was told I couldn’t pay it because I didn’t have my bank card with me. I explained that I didn’t have an account with them and they still wouldn’t let me pay on my credit card even though I had the credit card

I will go to another branch from now on

Trina was an absolute ALL STAR when it came to setting up an account! Was extremely patient with my questions and explained everything in detail. Was extremely personable and easy to talk to while being professional!

Lots of people being trained at this branch which can make service challenging. The more senior staff are solid but you don't know who you'll get.

I don't know if it is COVID or the location but lots of customers here seem to have more than simple banking issues when they come in. The line can be slow.

Horrible service, waited in line for 30 mins, only two tellers working, manager heard me and other's complain, he didn't seem to care and went back into his office, Mr Birch you look good in that suit sitting in your office doing nothing.

Normally I have loved this branch, especially if I get Miranda, she's always amazing, however my experience today was awful. The gentleman I spoke with was clueless, he disappeared for over 10 minutes to ask a question than then came back and all he told me was there was no way they could help me and gave me zero options. On my way home I called into RBC banking and they were amazing. They not only helped with my issue, they gave me multiple future option.

I tried to call the branch. It impossible to get through. I would like to know if any of their upper management has ever called in? Disgusting service. I have been a client for 45 years. Not for much longer.

Tadeu Krueger and Adam Reid (both junior employees with little formal and relevant education) have to be the most unprofessional and incompetent RBC bank employees I have ever encountered or otherwise heard of. Both of these individuals engaged in a personal scheme of bad faith and shut down our accounts that brought RBC significant sums of money. How these two individuals are employed, let alone with RBC, is mind-boggling. These guys should realistically either be unemployed or working in the middle of nowhere, far, far away from the business community. Complete idiots.

Appalling that is the only word I can think of. My wife left the bank crying after we caught the teller and the person she was training laughing at us. We needed to withdrawal the last and apparently laughable amount of $7.85 we had in the bank for bus fare. I can't even believe that somebody would laugh at the fact that we are struggling financially. I recently broke my back and can no longer work so ya I'm broke. I also have two small children at home. We already feel horrible enough having to go through what we are going through. I really hope that if those people ever end up in our situation they are treated with more dignity and respect then they showed us. I also hope that you pick a different bank if you read this please.

Extremely slow branch. There were more than 10 people waiting in line being served by 2 tellers while other 2 tellers were out on lunch at 1: 10pm. I would think the bank has historical data to know that 11-2 is usually busy times for any bank location.

I do my business deposits at this branch twice a month and have nothing but good things to say about my experiences with the staff and management. Nicole the Branch Manager is extremely friendly & knowledgeable. It is one of the largest and busiest branches in CGY and there can be long lines (as to be expected) during the 1st, 15th and end of the month, however it moves quickly and branch staff always come and chat with clients when there is a line to see if they can assist with any questions or concerns to speed the wait time up. I would suggest coming early if you do not wish to wait in line. I have often heard people complain about wait times to see a teller to pay bills, withdraw cash etc.at this branch but staff are always present and willing to show these people how to complete these transactions using the ATM's, RBC mobile banking etc. It is their choice to wait in line, not the branch staff's. Keep up the good work!

If you are looking for a reliable bank, scroll past this one.
We have been RBC clients for years and never had an issue until now. We payed off a vehicle loan and we got a credit as our insurance check was bigger. Everything was fine and went smoothly, until we received another credit, which we assumed it was interest being deducted. We realized the mix up after we asked why they pulled the money out of the account and left us in negative. We went personally to talk to seek for a resolution for this problem. We talked to Amy Hutchinson who is the assistant manager. This woman was absolutely unreasonable to work with but she eventually told us at the end of our talk, that she will make an arrangement the following day. The following day came and she absolutely refused to work with us. According to her, it is 100% our fault for spending money it wasn't ours and they were not at fault at all. She also treated us as thieves which was so uncalled for. Thankfully, this woman was kind enough to show us the ugly face of RBC and saved us from opening educational funds for our daughters, RRSPs and any further business. We are going to pay the balance and move all our pre authorized bills to a different bank and close our accounts, as we have NO interest of giving these insulting snobs business.
