ATM access no longer available when mall is closed. Don't waste your gas. What is the point of an ATM and saying it's all hours when it is obviously untrue
Terrible staff, no customer service, Never deposit your cheques on this branch, we deposited a cheque to payout a loan on northgate rbc on Aug 31, we have receipt stamped and 2 weeks later the loan is still active and cheque has not been cashed. Manager did not want to talk to me and the staff only said just cancel the first cheque and issue a new one. Without even trying to find out what happened to the first cheque, no effort was given to the situation. They dont want to admit they lost the cheque. One of the many reasons why i never want to deal with RBC.
My reason #25 not to deal with this branch. I exchange coins at various RBC branches in NE Edmonton (toonies for loonies and vice versa). This is the only branch where the teller unwrapped my rolls and counted the coins before she proceeded with the transaction. Talk about blatant distrust. As a long time RBC client, I felt appalled.
I've never seen this place with more than 2 tellers working, it could be mid day with a line up of like 20 ppl and the only reason why it moves is because people get fed up and leave. I wish this company would do some R& D and let people pay there credit cards through the atms, would save so much people a lot of time
Just like the rest of the RBC's in this city. The line up is out the door, 8 tills with only 2 staff. The rest of the staff drinking coffee and standing around. Why can't you hire more staff? Shouldnt take an hour to deposit a cheque. I hate this bank, I am switching.
Staff is very unhelpful. Horrible set up. One line for everyone. If you have an appointment you sit by the door and wait 30 minutes for anyone to acknowledge you. Go anywhere else. They were even rude to an elderly lady that couldn't stand in line due to being old. Have some compassion, just awful people.
Virtual visa debit card is a joke. Looks like someone threw up the 80s. My Save On More card is more durable than this. Why is RBC behind the times and require 2 different cards for online purchases. This is the only bank I have dealt with that doesn't have a visa debit card. What a joke.
I was thinking of using this branch this morning because the location is convenient but 2 years ago I had a bad customer service experience. After checking other reviews today it doesn't look like anything has changed at this branch. I guess I have to drive to a branch where I know the service is good. Not convenient. Not sure why they don't do something about this branch. Definately not good for business in my opinion.
Trying to get information from this branch is impossible, via mail and phone. Ridiculous that you the call cannot move forward without your client card. Unbelievable!
I would like to say thank you to Rita, working at the busness teller. Me and my mom always go to this branch for our busness account. She is kind, specialy patient with my mom because she speaks only little english but after 5 years its like she understand everything my mom wants to say before even saying it, she is helpfull, always friendly and provide amazing customer service. When we see you behind this window we always know we are in good hands.:)!
The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Constantly being talked over, and them ignoring everything I am saying. They have no communication with head office. Worst bank I have ever seen.
My daughter was in paying her credit card today and the girl working, started asking a bunch of questions about where she got her money and where she works. The same girl refused to withdraw money from my daughters own account, when she requested. Unprofessional and obviously untrained staff. She will not be returning to this bank!

Gentleman teller was rude and combative. All I wanted to do was move some money within my accounts. Said I needed 2 cards and ID, even though I entered my pin. Told him I had done it before w just my bank card. He responded after hitting his keyboard a few times by lying to me, saying he just messaged someone at the bank, and that he was following the banks policy. Went to a different branch w no problems. Im sure the other tellers at this location are ok, but I hope no one else has to deal w this guy's condescending attitude.

Had a phone in appointment with RON HO, he never called me I had to call into RBC to get information. Very unprofessional, RON HO didn’t even call or message to say he would be late.
I have consistently had bad customer service at the Northgate branch of RBC. It has become so problematic that my partner and I are pulling our accounts and going elsewhere.
Line up is extremely slow, if you ever do get up to talk to someone they are quite nice, however they should have more than one person working on a Friday evening. Also the woman at the front is useless.
Most horrendous customer service I have ever received. Irene did nothing but roll her eyes and make rude comments. I suggest going elsewhere if you ever want to get any of your banking needs accomplished.
