Prices were a lot higher than my local liquor store in fort saskatchewan. For wisers whiskey and for smirnoff ice berry blasts, also vodka. Ill be supporting moose liquor fort sask since they consistently have better deals. Its a shame because i always heard there were great savings at superstore liquor but it doesnt seem to be true anymore.
I love this location. All staff have always been over the top friendly. I only come once every few weeks but they ask about my kids, how their swimming lessons are going—and have great feedback on some of the products they offer! I always smile when I walk in and I hear “HOW ARE THE BABIES? ” before I even see who’s working. Such a lovely staff. And I love the walk-in cooler they added last year!
So nice. We had a can fall on the way out of a 6 pack. And the employee outside stopped us and had us go back in to swap it out. Definitely wasn't expecting that but 100% appreciated his kindness.
Nice and clean store. Visible price and letting you know that you can have cold one too. Love the non alcoholic section and the small bottle section. Plus the points of course.
Place is messy, mostly due to renos being done but the selection has dropped significantly due to less room. Hopefully they give us a wider selection of wines.
Given the privatization of liquor stores in Alberta, you can find better price and service elsewhere. It's part of Loblaws corp.so they don't have to be cost competitive and staff don't care if you come back because they are subsidized by other entities in the Weston/Loblaws conglomerate. I prefer dealing with my local independent vendor where prices are good and staff are friendly.
Social distancing was properly enforced and followed; however, given the time of day (4: 30pm) there were not enough staff manning registers. There was one register open - there were approximately 13 customers at the time. At least two registers needed to be open in my opinion.
I was just accompanying a friend and was extremely impressed with a particular cashier's level of customer service. The 5 stars go to him!
I don't know his name but is is heavy set, is in his early 20's, and has the most beautiful eye colour I have ever seen. I wish this would rub off on the other employees. The service, not the eye colour, I mean. LOL
Last time I was there the lady who served me was most unhelpful and only assisted begrudgingly.
Fairly good selection of wine and liquor. Wish they had more selection in terms of more popular beers in the 8 pac or 15 pac format. Ie Budweiser or Kokanee, Canadian, etc. For those your choices are 24 or nothing. Other than that prices are ok, and on par with other stores in the area. Beverly Crest has the best prices in the city pretty much though, so you might as well go there if you can.
They offer liqour for good prices. For example, there's a prosecco I like to buy that everywhere else is around $18 but at real Canadian liquor store it's around $14.
I forgot to get the man's name but he has amazing customer service and was a breath of fresh air in the customer service industry. I came in on Nov 5th around 345pm and it was a younger man with dark brown hair. Way to go sir!
This location has a great selection, and always has reasonable prices. Definitely come here if you need to buy bulk for a party, or event. I shop here for their large house whiskey brand, as I like to make my own coffee creamers for myself, and as gifts for family, and friends. The staff are polite, and friendly, and I always find everything I need.
You save money at Real Canadian Liquor Store because there are no refrigeration fees. Good selection and the cashier was extremely friendly and pleasant also.
