Real Canadian Superstore

One star is too many.not only do they Over charge for their groceries.they give less product, for the same or higher prices.
Now I just went through the check out.and they tried to Steal 12.00 dollars off of me. IF I HADNT CHECK MY RECIET THEY WOULD HAVE JUST KEPT MY MONEY.
THESE PEOPLE ARE THEIVES.

The shopping experience is good and they have a pretty good selection although the customers can be quite colorful. It's a clean place, staff

Deceptive pricing practices.

50% off sale sign in front of a display of socks. Socks scanned it. Regular price no discount. Refused to honor their scanner accuracy policy.

They went to check the price and never came back. Had to go walk over there after waiting over 10 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.

Don't shop here.

Not everyone is the same as this particular lady who is humble, kind and understanding. I don't know her name cause I lost my recipe, but I remember she had red hair. If there where more people like her this world

Before this Superstore, I had only entered the one in Red Deer, I thought I would have the same experience but no, very little variety of products compared to the other stores, and the promotions of the baskets are not flashy, I give it 3 stars because they still have low prices

One of the 4 options for grocerys around me. Always my second choice if my first is out of stock cause they always have it

I think the food here is very comprehensive and fresh, and the portion size is more suitable for small families than Costco. It won't be too much to eat.

Haven't gone here super often since it's not close to home, it's not a bad store but does seem to be weirdly lacking some selection compared to other super stores I've been to.

Need to do better with their shopping carts especially during winter. Shopping carts are always nowhere to be found. Thanks

Stock and services are great they even price match by changing prices with that in mind it affects the stock

Cashiers are no longer cleaning the self checkout counter or the card payment machines. They have the products lying behind as decor only!

I love this Superstore in St Albert, great service, selection, and very well run, I have never stood in line for more than a few minutes.

Got groceries pick up! Darian, has the best attitude. Such prompt and personable service. Much appreciated during these Covid times.

So.it turns out I am a big fan of these here potato chips and this is one of the only stores I can find who carries them. Otherwise this is still a pretty good superstore location. Superstore has changed a lot over the years.but theiir core is still there, I think I even saw someone fly by on rollerskates. (rollerblades tho)

The pharmacist was so helpful and professional. She went above and beyond!
She may have been the only positive thing going on in there.

I hate Super Store and this location is the worst. Parking lot hosts the worst drivers. Items are always missing on orders. Quality on produce and protein is poor. A AAA roast couldn't be chewier. Produce is significantly bruised. I'm fed up. I'll drive the distance for Save On Foods.

Always nice to have in your back yard even if you are not up for actually cooking, there's tons or ready to eat offerings available.

Does most of my groceries shopping on line, and what I like and appreciate about their on line system is they inform you beforehand of what is not available on your shopping list, and offers substitute. So I have no complaints

Only grocery store to compete with Wal-Mart on price and it has better, meat & produce selection.

They cut their meat with a sledgehammer more bone chips then meat chicken as well freezer burn supposedly fresh boo

This particular incident at KIngsway location, at the till, I had carried a flat of Lean cuts dog food to this point and they would not scan the item as a flat, only individual cans, because the plastic wrap has been removed from the flat. They would not proceed to sell me the food as a flat. When you order on line and enter 1 can the price is like 26 bucks, so this is sold by the flat. When they bring groceries out to your car, the cans are all separate, how is this different. I drove out of my way to buy this as other stores were out of this brand. The same thing happened to me at the Clareview store and they had no issues scanning the unwrapped flat as a flat. I didn't care for how I was treated by the worker, she was quite rude about the situation which in turn heated my feelings and just wanted to get out of there. Also why would the store unwrap all the flats? Probably just to soak in the money as single sales as a flat is 26 bucks and if you buy 24 cans, it will total almost 40 bucks. What a policy scam.

Store has improved its look though now it looks like Walmart. The products are still of questionable quality and prices too high for the quality.

If there's one thing that should persist post-pandemic it's people wearing masks when grocery shopping, especially when shopping for produce.

It's convenient for where I live but is often a little dirty. It seems crowded considering current restrictions. Most staff are pleasant.

Small for a Superstore. Not well laid out or consistently stocked. Produce varies in quality too much. Overworked staff. Good luck finding what you are looking for. May be in one of three places and priced differently in every area. Inconsistent.

Sometimes I think the produce section needs a little love and diversity but otherwise this location is what you would typically expect from a superstore.

This is very nice place for international food, economic and Good condition fresh, and clean very good attention.

Typical RC Superstore. Clean. Nice staff. Little bit disappointed they were out of potato salad but hey that's life.

It's not the best of Superstores in the City. I think it's possibly the least selection compared to every other Superstore

You have to beg everything yourself because they're all covid or free but at the same time that teller is allowed to touch every piece of your merchandise but she's not allowed to bag it it's really quite ridiculous

I love people that work there so much, always friendly, helpful and fast. Very flexible and always have good deals

Super busy. I think the store is over capacity. People can't follow simple floor directions. Masks required. Sanitize the pin pad after use.

Based on this one experience shopping here today I would give 0 stars if I could. But 1 star it will have to be. I came here today to buy some groceries and it was not a pleasant experience. I got what I needed and waited patiently in line until it was my turn next to pay at the cashier. When my turn came and I walked up to the cashier she rudely said to me "uhh theres a lineup behind you" and refused to allow me to use that line. Feeling embarrassed I had to re-enter a different line for a different cashier. I was very upset at that moment but didn't want to make a scene so I held it in and decided to leave this review instead. I am not sure why the cashier acted the way she did but I did nothing wrong, but needless to say I will not be coming to this superstore location again.

Quick, ease of access is great, in & out if required, selection of various products was very good.

So friendly customer service and I found everything I was looking for. Super reasonable prices. Collected PC optimum points.

This is my favorite superstore location in Edmonton. Not as busy or big and often has things in stock.

The staff here is so rude, for absolutely no reason. I could understand if I was anything less than polite to them, but every time I come here I just get attitude. Too bad it's close to my house, I'll pay more, thanks

No go for produce. I went in there to purchase 4 vegetables and they didn't have 3/4 (no broccoli, green peppers or celery stocks). Great prices but not worth a separate trip elsewhere to buy produce.

I can always be sure that superstore has wat I need and everything is always fresh and always the best price than any of their competition guaranteed. And with my pc optimum rewards card makes for an even better shopping experience every time.

This superstore has great staff, but there are some reasons I'd rather go elsewhere. 1) someone ALWAYS harasses you to buy a MasterCard, it actually ruins my shopping experience Everytime
2) the meat selection is substandard to St. Albert location
3) not always stocked fully
4) the parking lot was designed by a psychopath haha

Other than that, it's conveniently close.

I have shopped at several locations but enjoy the layout in this location the simplest to follow. I have never not found something I was needing. They offer shopping online with pick up. I am disappointed in their clothing department. I find other locations have a better selection and and much more well kept.

Customer service staff is good. Line ups at the check out are often too long. Meat products are sub-standard.

Very friendly clerk. Love Loblaws stores. But this is a biased opinion because some of my friends worked for their head office. But if you need it, you will most likely find it at Superstore. And its Canadian!

I was looking for Lobsters, was to wait 15 minutes before I seen anyone from that department. Once someone arrived the service was good.

Lots of products and great prices. You can buy anything from clothes for the family, electronics and have your prescriptions filled while you have an eye exam for new glasses.
Of course, lots of food which includes International fare a fabulous and huge deli section where much is prepared and packaged ahead of time. So run inside and pick up a nice sandwich and salad for lunch on your way to work. But don't forget to stop and pick up a wonderful roasted chicken for supper on your way home.
They have 2 in house brands: No Name & the famous President's Choice products.
All this and I haven't even mentioned you can also purchase a DVD player and live lobster for your next 'continental' meal.
For all they do, I certainly do not mind that I have to pack my own bags.
One tip: there is a direct taxi line phone but you have a better chance to get a cab to show up if you call it yourself.
You have to pay for the shopping carts which are not gathered often enough. So grab one while you're still in the parking lot.
Also, take the time to check out all the coupons offered by the door when you come in.
Includes an ATM.

This is a smaller store, but if you go early in the morning the produce is fully stocked, not so much in the evening.

Its a great superstore with friendly staff.but sometimes they need more tills open, especially around 3 during the week

I enjoy shopping at this location. It's convenient and usually has everything I need and I know just where to find everything I need.

Not the same selection as the castle downs location. No separate convenience store that sells smokes. Could really use renovations

It seems that Superstore has improved in having staff working on the floor so that you can find someone to ask if you need help. The one on Kingsway at least. Always well lit and never hot inside. $1 deposit for the carts. Remember to bring your own shopping bags. I enjoy the "World foods" aisle.

Boyfriend was happy with the cheap prices of groceries. Not too busy on weekdays. Spacious parking space.
