Poorly stocked shelves. For example, They had no ground beef of any kind. Very messy store. Lots of staff hanging around seemingly doing nothing. Free Underground parking was great in the cold snap though

Firstly, I understand the presence of security but today I must have seen 5+ guards and also 3+ cops wandering around.

I often feel scrutinized while shopping at this store and the vibe is just getting worse. If it weren't in such a convenient place for me, I would avoid going here altogether. They even stop you to check your receipt on the way out - I could do without the Costco experience, thanks. The corporate greed is immensely noticeable here because everything is focused on loss prevention. Going to try harder to avoid this location and find what I need elsewhere.

One of the best place to buy fresh vegitables and fruits. Shelf life of these products is best among all the grocery store.

Best place for shopping groceries in downtown Calgary. Prices are competitive and convenient for people who don't have their personal vehicle with them. Walkable distance from city hall LRT station.

It is good and everything is available, but there are two things I saw there that I did not like. Firstly, mice, and secondly, and most importantly, very bad customer service. Please replace the service staff. They treated me badly and not in the public interest.

Lots of missing price tags, couldn't find plain frozen boneless skinless chicken breasts, fire alarm forced us out, but there was no panic and couldn't hear the announcement over the PA, cold customer service and cold teller/cashier experience. Parking is a nightmare downtown, definitely won't be. Sick to this location.

Great value for price shoppers and always well stocked. Customer service is generally capable but at times second rate: usually willing to price match appropriately but for example refused to match Urban Fare, which is just ridiculous and have a tendency to foul Flashfood orders (missing or incorrect items). Flashfood online customer service however are exemplary and always willing to make things right despite Superstore's bungling.

Shame one this store when A millionaire women dressed to the nines is told her bag needs to be searched since when is it ok for IMMIGRANTS to come to this country call People Theifes this store should be Shut down. Be lucky your not being Sued at this moment. I do have means & money to do so

Walkable to ctrain. Great prices. Everything is available including ready to eat food and bakery

It's in downtown, excellent location. Almost everything available of my need. Very cooperative.

@delimanagment the greek salads (family size) you are making, the staff aren't draining the olives well enough. This makes too much brown liquid at the bottom of the container which 1.discolours the lettuce 2.is not very appetizing visually 3.does not give the same longevity of a drier salad. I love the salads, such great value, I've gotten them from many Superstore locations. This only became problematic at this location in the last month, originally they were being made to the same standard of the other locations. Thanks!

I liked that everything was brand new and easy to find but twice this week I have got stuff from the bakery and the first time there was mold and the second time it was stale and almost moldy.

Since Covid-19 has started and I have a pre-existing condition I have had to order my groceries online and do the pickup. I have done this at the Deerfoot Meadows and Mcleod Trail location; BUT the best location is East Village. The service level there is exceptional and they will call you to discuss any substitutions they need to make. Kat who often answers the call when you are at the pickup spot, is cheerful, positive and it is what we need in these time. From the moment I submit my order to when I pick it up I feel like a valued customer. There have been instances where I have not been able to make it at the selected pick up time and they have been very gracious with me unlike other Superstore locations in Calgary. Thank you East Village Superstore, you are a great addition to downtown, may your standard of service never change and if so for the better!

I'm a lifelong Superstore shopper. This a nice clean spacious store, but the product selection is awfully inconsistent. I've never had this issue with other locations.

The first thing I had trouble finding was authentic Asian soy sauce the first few weeks after they opened. The international food aisle is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller and under-stocked compared with other locations.

I am going to start making a list of the things that are not stocked. This list will be updated everytime I have this issue:

September 2: Shallots, Rice vinegar (note: I was able to find both these products at the Mission Safeway, which is closer to where I live anyway. Despite the fact that they have a much smaller square footage and isn't exactly known for their extensive selection of Asian products, they still managed to stock 4 brands of rice vinegar).

This Superstore needs to work on improving its product selection to be comparable with other locations and Safeway.

Just bought those $5 carrot cakes.found like a 16 inch long black hair in it.pretty repugnant.

I called and not worth driving back and returning. They should be more careful with food handling.

Typical superstore but very little selection in terms of baby stuff. Didn't have our formula or any baby clothing.

Beautiful space great location. I loved the selection and items available items were wide and nicely laid out. There was plenty of parking available.

Clean, much bigger than any other grocery store downtown and substantially cheaper. I haven't gone to any of grocery store since it opened. Downtown was in desperate need of better grocery stores and I'm glad we have one now!

I’d like to point out safe distancing on the elevators. I think this location started pretty good. However, today, I have noticed that about 6 people were riding the elevator without distancing and also only half of people were wearing masks. A security was right in front of the elevator when people got off and got in, however, he didn't even say anything to the people. I was scared and wanted to get off. Calgary centre is currently a watch zone especially, East-village area. I was very disappointed that this major store is not practicing safety rules properly to prevent spreading covid 19.

Every time I come to this Superstore I chat the ears off of the lovely cashiers about how beautiful it is, which I know sounds insane for a grocery store. They floor to ceiling windows give an amazing view of the new library and downtown while you are checking out. The shelves are always well stocked, it is never too jam packed and the free parking underground is abundant.

Do they meticulously choose all the best looking produce in the city? ! Everything looks pristine in the produce section!

Not happy with my recent purchase. There was no safety protocol followed, the person who did billing for me not wearing masks, hand gloves infact didn't disinfect the till before starting the billing. This I didn't expect at all.

Exactly what you'd expect for a superstore (maybe it's a bit smaller but still the same products).

My only beef is the entry ways and construction around the building make it pretty challenging to get into. Especially on the East side. Why do you only have one elevator and have the stairs 'for emergency only'? I hate getting in enclosed spaces with strangers especially during COVID times

It was really good. Too bad they decided to drop the $2 pay increase for staff. I won't be going back any time soon for that reason.

Great to have this store for inner city folks. We need more amenities that the suburbs enjoy. Signage for parkade is not that clear.

Clean, well stocked, great prices and friendly, helpful staff! Plus free parking with $20 purchase! Great grocery shopping experience in downtown Calgary.
