I just don’t understand why there are so many employees who work here who can’t speak or understand English, It’s absolutely frustrating when I need help. It’s only Punjabi workers why don’t you give a chance to other student kids that are born and raised in Canada a chance in employment first?
Shelves were missing a lot of stuff but the young man at the till was great. Very friendly cheerful polite quick and nice. Very good attitude and nice smile
Standard layout for the RCS, easy to find and good aisle spacing. Odd that it is one of the few that does not have a cigarette kiosk attached for it's location.
The prices have been slowly creeping up on everything here. It's gotten to a point that I don't like going to this store unless I absolutely have to or there is a really big discount.
Store cleanliness has also dropped quite a bit since the spring, making finding things difficult.
Quality and selection going downhill, the cashiers are friendly, but push your groceries through the till like they're trying to make a quota. Shelves poorly stocked, we were in today and there wasn't a single 4L jug of milk to be had, in any variety. Someone needs to step up their game in the ordering dept, especially considering how much the cost of everything has jumped.
Very very poorly managed, Under the name "Ad Match" this store misguide their customers. They should/must write Ad match with selected stores only. This store do price match with Canadian Tire, Home Depot, London Drugs and else, so now we as a customer need to wait till Home Depot or Canadian Tire starts selling groceries. Instead of groceries stores like Shop Easy, Fruiticana, Giant Tiger, Fresco they picked totally wrong stores for price matching. So, basically they don't deserve business. Better drive to South Common or Tamarack for your groceries and they do price match with real groceries store.
This superstore is clean and organised and well stocked. The one major complaint that I have is there seem to be as many workers stocking the food as there are customers. It is often hard to get around them in produce specifically. They don’t seem to notice the customers very much and I often see 3 or 4 workers in one aisle at a time. If they were working quickly and efficiently I would understand that this is what a store needs to run. However they are very talkative with each other and seem to visit more than work. I noticed it within the first month I started coming here and now I notice it every time.very different from the other superstores I frequent.
Was waiting at the deli meat department for over 5 minutes. 4 east Indian ladies were working there and saw me but no one made an attempt to serve me. Very disappointed about the service.
This is our go-to shopping center and their prices are unbeatable, especially for meats! Plus being able to collect points makes shopping ALMOST fun again!
I always like superstore, food prices are tough at the moment and I can usually come here and find good deals. Great place to buy Orchids that can last for years!
The service for curbside pickup is awful. Very rude and not friendly at all. Half my order was shorted as well with no heads up causing me to have to go shopping at another store. I will never deal with this location again.
This location is way less busy that South Edmonton Common.
If you really want to "shop like a mother", be sure to compare the price per 100g as I find a lot of the value/ club size options to be more expensive than their smaller counterparts.
If you use hand scanner during the self-checkout - and put the item back on the scale - it stops scanning - call the cashier/help. Otherwise nice clean store and helpful staff.
I highly recommend Real Canadian Superstore on Ellerslie a brand new store, Clean and neat store well maintain with a bright light. Great selections. Excellent service All stars outstanding price incomparable
If you get things from flash food at this store beware. My family ended up with food poisoning last time and this time they tried to give me products with visible mold, the packaging was ripped open and the deli meat was half the size thay was advertised so essentially they were trying to scam me for full price. Don't trust this place.
Overall a good store. I do think it lacks in Asian products. When it comes to the pandemic, there is a lack of enforcement of the masking policy which makes me feel they would rather avoid confrontation as opposed to keeping the safety of all customers in mind.
One of the better superstores in the Edmonton area. They had many more choices than the one on 17th street and the vegies were fresher. Worth the detour.
We buy stuff here and it’s always expired before the “best before” dates. Salads, meats, etc. Their “ready made” foods will have an expiration date and inside the humus will be expired (written on manufacturers label). Most recently I opened English muffins with a best before date of Dec 10 (today is the 6th) and it is riddled with mould.
I was supposed to pick up my pc Express order the evening before but ended up having to cover for someones shift and was unable to make it. I called the fallowing day around noon and asked if they could fit me in and still had my order ready. Josh was super accommodating and so I was able to pick up my order within 15 minutes!
Always clean and tidy, never that busy but the fresh food is always not that great, a lot of the time it goes bad quick or there isn't much selection/stock. Other than that good prices, cheaper than Walmart for most things.
The staff is great. I'm new to the area. And I do not know the store well. They went out of their way to show me things instead of pointing! Clean and well laid out Not too busy whenever I go and always stocked well
The staff was helpful and fast with service, they allowed us the free item even though we had separate transactions amounting to the price requirement.
This is the best Superstore in the city. Everything is organized, neat and always in the same place. It's definitely nice to walk around and browse the shelves, as you'll always find something new. This Superstore has the best selection, freshest produce, and well stocked shelves.
Nice store, spacious, and well staffed.would of been 5 stars and I will review again. But today on June 26 many of their coolers were down so no deli or fresh salads. We bought a few items including the pre-made foiled garlic bread. We BBQed and the family was enjoying supper and was excited for the Garlic Bread and after we cooked it we started slicing it and what would you know there was no garlic butter so we just cooked a plain big bun.that was very disappointing and would of ruined supper if we all didn't laugh at what a failure it was.
It's a nice new store and the aisles are nice and wide. Didn't notice a million arrows on the ground so that was nice. 9am is a perfect time to shop prob only 5 people shopping.perfect.not a fan of the self check ins.
I wonder how long it will take for the novelty to wear off. Everyone is so nice! I remember when the Sobeys across the street opened up, it was the exact same thing. Now it just seems they have fallen into a funk. I have a feeling that the same thing will happen to the superstore. It will be just like all of the rest. I hope not, but I think it will
Management here is not so good. Could make adjustments. Food passed expiration date. Stuff that should be on the shelves are not there and should have been restocked.was waiting at the deli for some meat and the lady just engorged me tell I was waving my arms.salad bar looks like food passed expiration black moold on vegetables. Garden center dead flowers.
Wow, just wow about this place, a new place to serve the south side, amazing service and hi-tech machines throughout the store, really like the idea of digital price change tags
This covid abiding location, is staffed with pleasant people! The shelves are stocked and the store has many available cashiers! Keep up the good work!
