Real Canadian Superstore

Most items are decent quality but the fruit and veg is often rotten. Even when sorting through the visibly putrifying items I open fruit and veg at home it's moldy or rotten inside about 1/4 of the time. I've never had this issue at the downtown location.

I have been dealing with Diane in pharmacy for a few years now and she has been amazing with any questions or concerns I have for medications. The whole pharmacy team is GREAT! When I moved further north east I tried Sunridge superstore and the customer service sucked and the pharmacy staff are not as friendly: (. That’s what I get for cheating on them trying going to somewhere closer to home but now I will be driving 20 min extra to get medications there. 5/5 stars is not enough! - Amy G

Always has homeless people bagging for money as you enter and leave the store. The renovations are nice but now groceries items are moved around and it’s confusing. Long aisles so if you are coming down with a cart and there are lots of people in the aisle you can’t get around them and have to wait. Could have a better rating if I

I am surprised at how people can shove items in their tote bags in the store and/or casually walk through the self-checkout to the door with a cart full of tote bags filled with groceries without paying. Today, January 2, I've seen people doing the first and most surpisingly from 2: 00 to 2: 10 pm, we saw a lady doing the latter (full cart). Soon as she’s out, mask off. The self-checkout staff were too busy to catch on. Maybe throw in some more staff or security? Just a thought.

The store is well lit and clean. About twenty five percent of the staff are friendly and helpful. If you ask where something is, they will walk you close to where the item is. Fifty percent of the staff does not know where the items you are looking for are located. The last twenty five percent of the staff are not happy to be there. If you ask about a certain item thats seems to sold out of they don't care to respond. They either say it is sold out and leave or the store was shorted and more will in tomorrow and leave quickly again. I have gone back the next day on many occasions, only to be told they were shorted again and will get it tomorrow. I have learned to check with the information desk on these products. Where I am told they are unsure if these items will be in this week or don't expect them at all. These have being our experiences at this store since it has opened.

Morning staff in this store is half asleep as they dont know what there doin! What a day breaker.the store manager should evaluate his or her people properly!

Nice to see the shelves getting stocked again. Most, not all employees are nice. Very clean store.

Been shopping at this store for 3 years now. But recent experience from their staffs have been very disappointing! Today at around 12 pm, the lady from the customer service was along the aisle in front of check out counters. I wanted to ask about an item that i couldn't find. But as i approached the lady and asked her, she picked up her phone and walked away towards the customer service desk completely ignoring my request for help!
Few weeks back there was another lady giving away free avocados to the entering customers by the door. But when i asked her for the freebie, she was very grumpy and handed it over to me in disgust! I did not take it as she was not happy. They say two strikes and you are out! Guess i need to go to a different store from now on!

Love the pre-made salads and meals but not a fan of the new layout feels like being trapped in a maze and hard to find stuff but works out for the store you buy more

Some of the produce like the carrots and potatoes were rotting and were giving off this weird fish stench. It was absolutely disgusting. Even some of the produce that's at the entrance has degraded so much that it's barely even edible, but they still have to put it out, because of margins probably. This used to be me go to location for groceries, but with each passing day I wonder if it's better to just eat the higher costs of the Safeway that's slightly up the street in favour of better quality.

I like the place, But it seems like it’s always busy. I feel bad for the people who worked as a Courtesy Clk.they have to collect all of carts and bin but I totally understand of the way that they work. But people just don’t understand to not places the carts and bins when ever they are about to leave. Placing it to the wrong place.

One of superstore best locations not too busy and friendly staffs. They also have lots of parking located at the corner of center Street NE.

Its Superstore, but they revamped their aisles so they extend the entire length of the store. Before they had a break in the middle. This new layout is now a pain to navigate

Feels stupid arguing about a grocery store, especially as a former superstore cashier, but this store lost me $100 worth of points.

The manager refused to sell me more than 1 Apple gift card in a single order to get my points offer. Yet the offer as I later found out stated a limit of 5 gift cards.

I would not have bought even that one card, but when I asked the cashier to cancel my order I got a funny look and as I had other things in my cart, just felt pressured to purchase it.

PC Optimum was of course no help at all, refusing to reinstate the offer.

This is my default grocery store. The prices are reasonable. I get PC Optimum points shopping here. And I get the most bang foe my buck. I have never left this Superstore disappointed.

This store is undergoing some type of renovation, and let's hope it is not close to being done as the layout is terrible. The aisles are a mile long and very hard to find things and prices. Also make sure you check your bill closely on 10 for $10 sale items. We were significantly over charged and good thing we found the error before leaving (even customer service couldn't understand the billing logic). We will not be going back until the renovations are finished!

Decent prices and with a wide selection of products.
It was not crowded and there were no long lines for cashiers when i was there.

Since the rearrangement of the alley it's a disaster, plus from week to week they keep changing product location like a freaking musical chair, use to be good now one of the worst

Terrible service. Attempted to return an unopened package of phyllo pastry which had only been bought by mistake less than 24 hours earlier. Was told it was not possible to return as it had already left the store even though had been able to return similar items prior to this visit. Was told this has always been policy. Girl working at the customer service was quite rude. Will no longer be shopping at superstore will instead shop at other competitors as they have better service.

Ok place to shop but staff need to get better at rotating old product with new so many times we bring home food just to find mold.

Well, it was bad. I ordered PC Express groceries. When I got to SS, PC Express had given my groceries to someone else. Yup. The entire order was gone.
They said they could repick the order in 20-25 minutes. It took almost an hour and was not complete.
The PCX manager called me a few hours later, was condescending and blamed her junior staff for the error. How professional is that?
Then she offered me some free batteries (?) and a code that will arrive in 7-10 days that will give me $20 of my next PC Express order. Customer service fail!
Avoid the Huntington Hills Superstore PC Express.
Oh and. I still do not have all the groceries I ordered.
UPDATE - AUG 18 - Called PC Customer Service as request in response to this review. No help. Still do not have all the groceries I paid for or an apology. Disputing the charge to my credit card. Looks like the only thing left is to contact Galen Weston's office. How utterly sad.

They changed the store around and there are pallets partially blocking the aisles. Makes it difficult for maneuvering your shopping cart

My recent shopping experiences at this store have been terrible. The mile long isles and unhelpful staff have made it worse. If I wasn’t poor and had to shop there I would never go there again. It is very hard find items I am looking for and the staff doesn’t seem to know where anything is. The self serve checkout staff stands around but doesn’t seem to notice when you need help even though your checkout light is flashing. I always have to call them over and then they seem angry to do their job.

They make you wait around for plastic bags to bag your groceries while standing right next to people during a pandemic instead of having the bag there for you like any other grocery store. Then it took the manager 10+ minutes to answer the phone while being pages multiple times. DO NOT SHOP HERE AS THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS

We are always happy to enjoy our experience on getting our stuff over there. The customer service, the organization, and the quality of products. It's amazing!

Great customer service here every time, I love this store. Loving the updates to the store and I always get two perfect watermelons when I shop, no disappointments!

Rudest and most condescending pharmacist I've ever come across. Don't bother trying to ask her a question because apparently customer service is an inconvenience.

It's an ok grocery store for being a Superstore but the PC Express experience is a bit of a hit or miss. Sometimes everything's ok, other times you might end up waiting a long time for your groceries or you might even end up getting someone else's groceries. I tend to go elsewhere if I have the option.

All the grocery items are well placed and easy to find stuff what I need. Self check out and cashers are quicker than the other locations.

Wasnt too bad. Although some weird sketchy guy followed me around the store. Pretty sure he was as high as a kite. And looking to take my purse which made me un easy. Was a bit crowded. But other then that, got was I was looking for. In short. Maybe erp an eye out for drug addicts and you'll be ok.

I'm used to a smaller store. Seems to be an older location. I only visited the Joe Fresh area & had to get the Pharmacist to call someone over the intercom system to come & help me. I will not make this my regular shopping location.

Great store overall but beware items marked down do not reflect till price often. Seems to not always be honest mistakes as it happens frequently.

Very large supermarket with a wide selection of goods (clothes, toiletries, household goods, odds and ends) and huge grocery store. Also decent prices

I was waiting 15 min too much and casher (frenchsca) was talk with front customers chaser she was talking too much and wasted my time. I did not understand. WHY DID I WASTED MY TIME BECAUSE CASHER!

All the lobster were dead. The lady assured me that they were still good to eat. I got food poisoning. I should sue. Picture is attached.
