Real Canadian Superstore St Albert Trail

I like superstore in general but I find certain things at this liston that I can't at others.

The staff I encountered were all super friendly and helpful. Susan at the check out till was a pleasure to interact with. The store is clean and well labeled making it super easy to find what you're looking for

Nice place to buy everything under one roof! Great thing is that they have Indian food stuff also! No doubt 5 star rating!

This is a clean store with good customer service. One qualm I have is there could be a better job done with discounted produce. I frequently shop at another Superstore in a different city that does a much better job of marking down produce so that at least it ends up being purchased and not thrown out. I noticed some the other day at this Superstore that should have certainly been on a discount shelf but was not. Not the first time. Don't care for the earlier closing time either now but that is of course a Loblaws decision, not the individual stores.

Decent selection and decent quality produce. Service is always good, but could use more open tills during the week.

I have told all my relatives and they have told all their friends to never shop here again.

It will have what you need. In these tough times looking for a deal, it still has some, but everyone wants to go here and the line ups are growing.

A pretty good Superstore, slightly smaller scale which can be a good thing. Clean and generally well stocked and organized

Surprisingly, out of 4 liter jigs of skim milk. Yet stock on the other products. It's not the first time I have seen this. Which end of the supply/demand curve is this product on?

I have always liked this chain of stores cause they always seem to have what you need/want.

Grocery store, what more can be said. I would give 5 stars but had to deduct one because the weigh scales in the produce section are rarely turned on. Also, it gets frustrating when items do not have visible pricing, this happens often.

So many options for Asian grocery and at affordable price, compared to Bombay spice must visit this location as it is easy to commute and near to highway l. Hope you will find everything you need

Check your receipt before leaving the store especially when you have a big haul. Many times the prices that they stick on the shelves did not match what they charge you on your receipt. Even for multiple purchase discounts and the stickered markdown 30% bargains. Check your receipt before driving away.
5 May, 2023 Not applying the 30% discount on stickered items seems to standard practice here. It happens to me over and over. Again, I can't emphasize enough to check your receipt before leaving the store. The 30% discount might be small change to many here in St. Albert. It's about the principle.

If you shop carefully you can find good prices unfortunately if you don't you might as well shop at any other box Store

Stop changing you price match policy.
Pick a rule. The main reason I go there for a one stop shop.

Unfortunately there is no less than one star. I can't explain how rude and mean and disrespectful and impolite most the cashiers are. The cashier today 03-11-2023 was Dusty (that's her name on the receipt) with no greeting, no asking about if I have a PC card or not, she did not even ask if I want to buy that special weekly product most of the cashier ask you if you want to purchase. And the worst part was when she gave me the receipt. She literally THREW It on me, if I was a little closer it would go on my face and she did not even look at me. She threw it her face was facing the other side. I always think to ho buy from another superstore even if it will take some from my time at least I get some respect. The thing is most of the cashiers are mean and the store manager seems like she does not care. And I agree with most of the previous reviews how dirty is the store and how messy and most of the times the shelves are out of stock.

Easy in and out, usually a good selection. I'm always here on Thursday, which isn't the best day for shopping. Fridays seem to be restocking day so for freshest and best selection, come then but not too early. Early afternoon will be still quiet with most things out.

Dairy will barely make it to the best before date in summer, seems no problem in winter months, maybe they leave it on their shipping dock when trucks deliver, then eventually it finds its way to the cooler.
Also, is it too much to ask that employees leave the premium parking stalls at the front of the store for patrons?
I cannot believe that this is not the store’s policy.
If you want espresso coffee that is vacuum packed like a solid brick (the way it should be) you’ll have to go somewhere else as the seal on every single pack here has been breached, sometimes when opening the case or mostly with a less obvious tiny sharp object- childish and ridiculous of the night time stock crew.

Good shopping experience! Lots of parking and friendly service. Highly recommended for grocery shopping.

Last few times I've used PC express I've had to wait 10 to 20 minutes to see my order come out, which is about 3 times longer than walmart.
Otherwise products are good and staff is friendly.

I come here every week find some kind of moldy fruits/veggies, expired products like sauce, juices especially in international section. Always inspect your fruits/veggies and expiry date here! And when I came to return those expired items in the counter they not even acknowledge it properly and apologized.

Coming at this location time to time. Yes some prices are high but that's why the flyer is there. It's clean and employees are doing their job. Will be coming back.
