Not everything that was needed was found, because none of the staff could know where anything was. The choice is large and varied.

I have to say when you can find good deals at their location. I love that they have not only groceries but joe fresh, also across the way is their liquor store. One stop shopping for everything.

Amazing deals, great selection, the staff are always helpful and cheerful. I love shopping here!

The East indian return desk associate is so unprofessional and arrogant. Her attitude towards customers is so bad. I'm never visiting this location again.

From the parking lot to the actual store itself, it’s always chaotic and fellow shoppers are just rude and ignorant. Not to mention the horrible smell when you walk into this store, it smells of sewage or fart bomb. I dread having to go to this store and I try to avoid it at all costs.

I asked for the Rooster Rice which was on sale for $33.88 and it was 9: 30 am on Aug 17,2023, the first day for the new flyer in effect.
She, Ashtiwath, insisted that they are out of that rice for the day and they don’t have any more! She repeated it three times.

I told her I heard you the first time, could you please call the grocery at the back and ask; I have been through this situation before. I later asked to see the manager, wasn’t there I was told, and then all of a sudden there comes a huge ballet of that rice. Please see the picture.
Ashtiwath was there and said to me “you don’t be rude to me” “I am not your slave”. While I understand how embarrassing it must have been for her that there was actually rice at the back and now she is a liar, she chose to cover her incompetent customer service with disrespectful accusation to me, she could have simply apologized for the false information…. We all make mistakes.

She would not let go, as I was leaving after I thanked the young lady at the Customer Service for her help scanning one rice bag for me, Ashtiwath followed me from the back and said again “I am not your slave! ” Could someone please in Superstore explain to her that we don’t have slave/master thing in Canada but rather professional business relationships based on mutual respect.
I think more customer service training would be helpful to support her.
On a side note, could you please ask the staff to speak in English to each other on their shifts in front of the customers.

Get told from the manager I could buy a display model gazebo at 40% off to get there and be told no that's 40% off the regular price not the sale price that is already at 50% off.why would I want to pay 10% more for the display model marked price! Also had to drive 45min to get there to be disappointed! Do better superstore do better

You can find anything you want easily and go for checking out with cheerful and supportive cashiers to do your shopping. You are able to do price matching when collecting rewards towards to he future shopping

They took out the bags in self check out and had someone holding the bags and asking customers if they need one. In exchange of that person wiping the check out machines instead. Perhaps people not paying the plastic bags are more important than the safety of the customers.

Nice place to shop for groceries: availability of products especially for Asians like me, price is competitive, friendly staff

Their BBQ chickens are so goood. I love using my optimum points here. Feels like I'm always getting a good amount of money back.

Thier stuff are becoming very expensive. But still nice place and you can find most of the things you looking for

I stopped there to use the bathroom and grab something for lunch, while in the bathroom a couple of the staff came in and opened all the other stall doors, when my didn't because it was locked and in use, she looked in the crack of the doors at me instead of underneath for feet. It's really uncomfortable to make eye contact with a stranger while you're using the bathroom, it's also very inappropriate that staff would do that. I left, not coming back.

Inconvenience would imply it was harmless instead of causing a lot of anxiety for no reason, I know a few people who would have outright panic attacks from this. There was literally no reason for it, I had been in the stall under a minute & barely had enough time to sit down before she decided to look through the crack in the PRIVACY DOOR to see what I was doing instead of look for shoes or knock

I was shopping today sometime in the afternoon and I was in the grocery section when I experienced some of the worst costumer experience ever. I asked one of the employees (her name was Sukhwinder) and she was very rude when answering to me. Later I found out from costumer service that she is a manager! Absolutely inappropriate for a manager to act in that manner. The horrible service ruined my Mother's Day spirit. I would give this 0 stars if I could. I won't be returning to this location anytime soon.

More than 6 items on my groceries list are not available but associates staff are very helpful they're doing their best to help consumers even though they are unionized workers.

Came in for the first time today! Looks nice and clean but staff are NOT helpful at all. I was looking for light bulbs and spoke to 3 employees. Each of them said a simple “I don’t know, find someone else”. Apparently they don’t know anything outside their department. One even told me to go all the way to the other end of the store. Thankfully I didn’t and found what I was looking for. It’s fine not to know something in a big store but its bad customer service to just tell someone to go find someone else and just turn away. At least employees can find someone that does know and maybe that will increase their knowledge of where things are.

In my opinion, I think that this one of the best stores in all of canada! It's a very good store. They might run out of items, but they'll get it restocked soon! My parents and I always go here to buy our food whenever we run out! It's just a very good store. The workers are incredibly nice, and they'll always tell us if they had ran out of something.

Is a shame that in times of pandemic the management of this store prefer the products to get rotten or expired before selling them for cheap at flashfood.

Seems to have the worst substitutions for click and collect. No. I don't want a potted plant instead of lettuce. ‍️

This Superstore is great in many ways. It is stocked well, clean and organized. The staff are kind and helpful. However.every time I am there I am very concerned with the LACK of social distancing. People do not respect the rule. There are too many people in the different sections at one time and many do not wait till someone is done choosing their item (s) before approaching. I think there should be arrows directing people down aisles and staff monitoring this. More consideration needs to be taken in this store. Don’t bother going there if you are expecting social distancing respect.

Do not place a grocery order here, your prices will be significantly increased despite paying a convenience fee. $14 difference for one package of chicken.

Dreadful.while the store looked clean and tidy, employees were walking around with their masks incorrectly worn.noses exposed and people weren't saying or doing anything about it!
i don't come here often, but after what my wife and i saw, i don't think we'll be coming back for a while.my wife is someone who works at the hospital, and was shocked to see how not seriously the store is taking this.there was no one counting people at the door for occupancy, and i saw children walking around without their masks.do avoid this place if you're older or an immuno-compromised person as COVID cases rise.

Superstore always has great prices, but it is a lot of work to ensure that you read the sale details correctly (ie "when you buy two" versus "limit of two") and that the sale price actually scans through at the till. Lots of people likely walk away paying the full price for things that they thought they would get on sale.

Be alert during billing time - i bought "ring of fire " pepper and they billed me for
serrano pepper. Even at customer care instead of correcting there mistake they tried to convince me that it was indeed serrano pepper just to save effort of finding right code. This is a regular practice in this store and is not fair. Customer should be billed for what they have bought!

Nice grocery store. We were able to find what we were looking for- poutine gravy, it was gluten free to boot! Nice selection of candy and chocolates:)

I was in a rush and needed my prescription as soon as possible. Nadim at the pharmacy was very busy but he kindly prepared my prescription in only 15 minutes! Thank you Nadim!

I go here mostly because it's close, and there are lots of store brand (PC) options instead of paying more for name brand items. But there are a few things I don't like: 1) Produce section is often lacking basic items, and has wildly fluctuating prices; 2) Store usually does not order enough to keep up with demands of sales; 3) Store relies too heavily on reduced prices when buying multiple of certain items. There are some things where I just don't need more than one; 4) Watch the price of everything as it is being scanned, very often it doesn't match with the displayed price; 5) Grocery staff clearly use sharp blades when opening shipping boxes, and often will end up cutting into packaging of products and still put it on the shelf for sale.

Very clean and modern! Since becoming vegan most items i need I can get them there, from cereal, to make up!

Gone here dozens of times now and the store has been consistently good. I never found it horribly busy like other locations.

Used to be great, but for the last several months it smells like a backed up sewer. The last two times I've gone in and turned around and left. I will not be attempting to return. Fix your plumbing issues.

I enjoy this grocery store so much I made the switch from a different company! I find the prices are very reasonable, they have a wide variety of everything you could possibly imagine. Lots of their house objects and kitchen tools are very well priced! I always find parking at this Super Store and they always have carts available.

This location used to be my favorite because it is much cleaner and seems to have better stock. I've found lately that it's just slightly better now. I am not a fan of the produce department (so much that I do not buy produce here at all anymore. It's often wilted and the selection is terrible), and I hate the bakery (it's just not good. I'd rather spend more somewhere else). If I had my way, we wouldn't shop here at all. But my husband loves Superstore.

We love shopping at this Superstore. Its never too busy, typically clean and always have what we are looking for.

This is a newer store, only been open a year or so. The staff is friendly and they have a lot of selection. Its getting busier with the new neighbourhoods around but still my choice for groceries.

This place is so close to me that it has become my local convenience store! I’m in here at least once/day!

We go to this store because it is very near our home and it has almost everything of what we usually need at a cheaper price. I still wish they would always maintain a supply of very good quality fresh vegetables and fruits - I don't know if it is just me but occasionally (?) I see wrinkled/very limp produce still on the shelf.

Good quality products are delivered. Almost all everyday products can be seen there.products for medical, beauty, babies, ladies, bakery, toys, seafoods. Best option for variety fresh seafoods. Very good carry cart. Cart coins are delivered there.

The fact that its only a few steps away from where I live so it is very convenient that they have almost everything that you need on a daily basis.

Generally well stocked and quick moving checkouts. Well kept and clean, on weekends store shelves can be messy however. Staff has always been polite and helpful.

I was very excited when they opened this Superstore since its closed to my house. However, I'm always disappointed whenever I visit this store.
1. Their produce section is always out of stock
2. Most of the available produce are rotten
3. The Cashiers sneeze into their palm while scanning your grocery.
4. The customer service don't understand their own store policies.
5. Expired yogurt.
6. They claim to do price adjustment however, those price adjusted Items are never on shelves.
I hope management will educate their Cashiers to cough or sneeze into their arm not their palm. More Associates should be hired in the produce and daily department.
One thing I've noticed is whenever Walmart reduce something, this store will do the price adjustment but that item is not on shelves. I don't know if it's intentional or not? I've decided to go back to South Commons Superstore.

Been doing groceries here since it opened. It's one of the more quiet SuperStores in Edmonton. Always clean and helpful staff.

Came in with a grumpy 4 month old and as I was paying at the self-serve one of the employees actually came over to help cheer my baby up, and then got someone to help me bring my groceries to the car! Wonderful service.

World Elite Card + A lot of spending on it = super good return. Love how the PC points are combined with Shoppers Optimum points. Loads of options for those who prefer cash back instead of travel cards.

Poor customer service. Lots of empty shelves and staff take a long time to re-stock them. Many products are not available or out of stock.
I just moved around that area. I used to go to the superstore on 51 ave and Calgary trail and never experienced any issues there.

I really enjoy the click and collect. I hate grocery shopping so I just shop for what I need online, pick it up, and away I go. Everyone has been very friendly that have brought out my groceries
