Real Canadian Superstore

My experience with one of the east indian backup supervisor was very bad. Doesn't know how to communicate Very rude. Front-end needs to be trained for better customer service and communication.

Some lady named Komal at customer service skills is terrible, i forgot my wallet at home so i didnt have change for cart, i went first to self check to ask them for a cart they directed me to customer service, customer service wasnt helpful at all, she wasnt even busy and asked me to go find someone outside they will help me out, i waited for 30 minutes just to get a cart and noone was helpful. I work as a customer service manager for over 10 years and i have never in my life experienced such bad customer service, the employee being so lazy to help with a cart. Ralph finally helped me after waiting for 30 minutes.

This review deserved zero star but that was not an option.

Yesterday August 20th, I went to this store to purchase several things in which I had to leave the basket with the things I had already pick-up due to a shocking and devastating experience I encountered.

I was shopping in the self care section close to the pharmacy and optical area department when I saw a lady coming from out behind a door. Walking towards her, when i got close to her i said excuse me miss do you work here (checking to ensure that I was speaking to the correct person). She totally ignore me, hold her head straight and walk pass. I said hello miss and then in a very rude tone she turned around and said "what do you want". I was so shocked i just said it is okay, your are very rude and disrespectful. Unfortunately, I did not get her name but she was wearing a red top with a white coat thrown over her hand.

Based on other customer complaints, this store seems to have serious customer service issues that require urgent management attention. The question is, why should customers continue to support this store when it seems that management has turned a blind eye to the issues that customers are experiencing?

Horrible customer service, the lady work in customer service (her name is Amandeep) and the manager in duty (June 07 at 5: 30pm) are extremely bad with customer service skills, rude attitude and bad service, it's happened not once but soo many times, they seem never leant what means respect, kind, nice, If want to have your day ruined, definitely come to Windermere location
I went today to do exchange and return for some of my kid clothes that I bought it from SC superstore the customer service lady refuse that and her manager to they both was so rude and not respectful.
I know that you can return to any other location
I never will back to this location even I will tell all my family members and friends do not go there it’s better to drive long distance then have this horrible service

Great lay out to the store. Staff are usually helpful but i would say 8 times out of ten they have no idea where to direct someone to find what they’re looking for

Got this broccoli from superstore last week when I cooked it, and started eating it found larva in my broccoli, I am not a worm eating person, I was charged for broccoli, not for the insect in it too,

Good store for grocery shopping. Everything you may need like cooking items etc is available there.

I like this superstore because the customer service here is nice, I do not want to shop where people are rude, so this place is my favourite.

Produce is fresh, everything organized and excellent, never had any problems in superstores regarding groceries EXCEPT meat.sometimes its smelly, so be careful, mostly its good.

Tip: Just inform customer service if the meat is bad you will be returning it (one tray of Salmon or Halal chicken breast tray is often $30 so its difficult to throw away). Sometimes they make you smell it anyway so you are satisfied. I have stopped buying meat from other stores as its often bad and smelly and becomes difficult to return (as they look at you as if saying: what did YOU do with it, lol).

My favourite Superstore in the city. Always clean, bright, and have never had issues. I actually avoid going to the one closest to my house for this exact reason. I love to come here during the first opening hours on the weekend for a chill shopping experience. I find the staff at this location efficient and friendly!

Despite being a smaller Superstore, the selection of goods is decent. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and the store is very clean.

I shop here multiple times a week since I like getting my produce fresh. The washrooms could be cleaner. The store is smaller and inconsistent with what it offers, it also doesn't have a lot of variety of you compare it to other Superstores. Majority of the people I've encountered here are nice. A person who assists at the self checkout is not very nice. And also people who work for PC Bank are very pushy, they ask very personal questions and would literally try to stop you and follow you to the door. Over all okay.

My boyfriend and I shop at Superstore on a very regular bases and we happened to be in the area to hit up this location. We had grabbed our items and headed through self checkout when I tried to pay with debit and the machine wasn’t working. I had gotten the attention of the man working at the station and he had no idea what to do. He eventually said he needed to find someone to suspend the transaction. After a couple minutes of standing there and all the other customers standing around with no help we grabbed our stuff and went to a different checkout line. All the machines were having issues with debit as a lady on the phone frantically ran around not knowing what to do. When finally getting checked through the cashier wasn’t very friend, didn’t mention the deal of the week, and didn’t ask for my PC optimum card. It was a pain that my boyfriend had to run and get cash from the pc optimum station but the more annoying part was that it took twice as long to pay for our items than to go throughout the store to get everything. I probably wouldn’t ever go back to this location.

Fantastic location! Love their seafood department- the staff at this location are always smiling and helpful - I look forward to more shopping here

Great grocery store with lots of selection and an impressive number of local and small business options. -1 star because I really dislike loonie carts, I never carry change, this isn't my regular grocery store so it gets me every time I stop in.

This store have a large variety of products to choose from ranging from produce to meat products to international products and other household items to choose from.
The store is not too crowded and the self checkout makes it fasted to quickly go in and out of the store. The staff are very helpful when you need to respond to your questions.

Really disappointed in the longer wait times due to insufficient cashiers (having 3 cashiers at any given time is ridiculous). Line ups don’t follow covid protocols as customers aren’t 6-feet apart and line up in the aisles, blocking the way for other customers.

This place is great, living in Windermere I’m happy this location is managed so well. The staff is wonderful as well, they are naturally kind and helpful. I honestly can’t say enough good things.

Cleanest Superstore in the city in my opinion, even during busy times! Lines move fast and everything I need is always in stock. The store does a good job with pandemic safety measures in place.

This store and it's employees have no passion for food, or their customers, there are good people that work here, but the bland shopping experience, scuffed floors and metal racking all make it feel like a low grade experience that doesn't match the customer base in the area. This store needs a city market style refresh, or a rebrand to a Loblaws at minimum. Their manager should do some secret shopping at frieson brothers. Watch the staff interaction with customer, eves drop on their conversations about presentation of product, and learn from the visual present and stores celebration of food.

The prices are not that good but at the end it is the only nice grocery store available in the heritage valley area

Always stocked up on items in produce, dairy and meat. No line ups at cash registers. Always have a small variety of fresh flowers.

I continue to go to this Superstore as it is very close to home but it is so annoying to go and not have items that you want stocked. It could be weeks and the same item (ie.spring roll paper, coconut water, chips, carbonated water etc) would be still out of stock.

One of the cleanest and most organized Superstore locations in the city. The store is very bright, there is ample parking outside and nothing is ever hard to find in store. Cashiers are usually very friendly and try to interact with their customers as well.

Handy location of this Superstore, it’s a smaller sized one but I find it still has everything on my list. The only downside I would say is that they don’t offer “Click and Collect” shopping services, otherwise I would give them 5 stars. I love this service and it is disappointing this is not offered here. The prices here are definitely some of the best of all the grocery chains, if you’re looking for good selection and reasonable prices, this is good store to go too.

I can never seem to get all my groceries here. There’s always vital items out of stock that I have to go to a different store to get. Busy store, usually clean and organized

Great place to shop everything is well organized and things look clean only thing is I wish workers would all wear their masks properly I get that it would be stuffy working all day in a mask but wearing your mask under your nose is next to useless

One of the worst superstore. Specially i had a really bad experience with their manager (Hardeep) who has no sense to talk with their customers which is not acceptable. Ridiculous

It's so clean and the self checkout had zero line up! The staff are always super friendly when you ask where something is.

One of girl said she is supervisor in vegetable department. She is very rude. First I thought she is customer because she didn’t put her superstore dress on. How come she supervised other, if she her self didn’t follow rules. Seems like East Indian girl. She provide Very poor customer service.

Ive been going to this superstore for years, great service. Ive broke a few pickle jars over the years and they never made me feel bad or would even take payment l.

This grocery store is well-kept, clean and usually not too busy whenever I’ve visited (morning). Their produce section could use some love as it sometimes has old/rotting items (eg: coconuts, avocados). All other sections have been good. The meat/seafood department was helpful last time I visited. Checkout is usually well-staffed so you don’t have to wait too long. Self-checkout is also available.

Tip: they usually have carts in the entrance so don’t bother fetching a non-disinfected one from the parking lot (I saw some other patrons doing this but didn’t need to). There is hand sanitizer at the entrance and someone wiping down cart handles at the entrance.

Worst superstore! Shelves never stocked, veggies are never kept in stock on shelves, messy shelves. I now only shop at Heritage unless it's my prescriptions I'm picking up. No curb pick up! I only go if it's urgent!

SUPERSTORE IS THE BOMB! I wish I had one in Cochrane. The selection and prices are amazing plus their fresh-made sushi section is unrivalled by any other grocery store for sure.

Love the customer and front end services. Everything was in stock and it was easy to find things I was looking for.

Poor management, Mask requirement is OK, but some of your customers still dont know wearing mask is mandatory, so just have some cheap mask and let the customers wear it, don't stop letting people in, Poor manger!

Be warned - you cannot make returns at the store even though there is no signage or mention of it at entry or checkout. Even if you haven’t left the vicinity they cannot take returns on non-perishables and the only sign is at the customer service desk.
Also there food at 30% off is rubbish - the food can not be eaten and they’re still selling it.

Easy to access items and there are lots of option and alternatives on the grocery list, the prices are fair and reasonably priced. Also customer service is very good.

Pharmacy is close to last on the phone directory and doesn't offer a direct line only think I would change

It's good decision by management to put cap on grocery purchasing so no one over stock

Surprisingly the best organic selection of fruit and vegetables without having to drive to a specialty organic food store.

Not well organized and aisles are always full of product waiting to be unpacked, but the lines usually move very quickly and cashiers are friendly.

It's a really good superstore. Not sure I'd say it's the best one but I appreciate having it. They seem to struggle at times when it comes to stocking popular items. Might not be their fault. Also the international aisle (s) could be have more selection especially when it comes to Chinese/Korean/Japanese items. Otherwise it's clean with wide aisles. Friendly staff.

Too many parking stalls dedicated to only disabled/families. It's always packed and the parking set up doesn't make sense.
