I went to buy a vanilla birthday cake on January 9,2024 around 1 pm and the grumpy Asian woman rudely told me she can't write my wife's name along with happy birthday because her icing pen is too big. People like her shouldn't be working with the public or shocked if AI takes over their jobs because she has no gratitude that someone hired and pays her.
I find sometimes the prices aren’t accurately labelled or they have no price tag at all, especially in the cosmetic section. It’s very busy so sometimes the stock can be lacking or not the best in terms of expiry dates (bakery and produce). The staff I have interacted with have been mostly friendly here, they expanded the self checkout which has made a difference as well. The home decor and appliance sections are great, especially for seasonal decor.
I have yet not been able to navigate any apps for home delivery from any store The more technical we get the more inconvenient everything has become. I know I lose patience but really how many times do I have to enter my information? How many times does a person get redirected before they just give up? So in-store shopping for me until this improves. Perhaps retailers could take a lesson from Amazon I can easily shop on that app it's straight forward, not overly teckkie superstores seems like they hired a company to produce the app and the app greater was showing off how vast his programming skills are
Over priced, meat is old an disgusting They really never have anything stocked properly aside from the fact it's superstore I'd personal won't shop at this location again
Great place to do grocery shopping but the security guard Phil I think his name was, was stalking my kids and I, it was creepy and he should probably be fired
Hey it's Superstore some good experiences, some bad. Like anyone today I shop the sales and if I "need" something here or No Frills are my fav's for decent and usually lower prices. Both under the Loblaw brand.
Staff is normally a bit gruff, but we all have our bad days. What's important is they usually help me find what I need. However, some of the cashiers need to be fired. My experience yesterday was so bad that I stood there staring at this obnoxious, unprofessional young woman in absolute shock. I still regret not calling over a manager, but at that point I just wanted to get out of there. Definitely will not be back to shop at this location.
Boycott Superstore! They are owned by Loblaws, a company stole 12 million taxpayer dollars to "upgrade" their freezers! Oh, and their staff could use a lesson in customer service!
I have a love hate relationship with this store. On one hand they have great selection and prices, on the other hand you feel gross being in this store. Everything is dirty, theres hardly any staff, no one seems friendly, bathrooms are disgusting. Tags are missing or wrong on a lot of items. Atmosphere makes you feel like your being processed through an industrial feed lot.
Recently put in new bathrooms which is way better for people with kids than the single bathrooms they used to have. Great prices and they usually have everything I'm looking for. Great ethnic food section.
The staff are friendly and helpful. If you have any questions, they are more than willing to assist. I was not shopping for my personal pleasure but for professional reasons. I will now make that a store I go to personally because of the kindness of the staff.
The loss prevention officer accused me of stealing when I didnt take anything. Literally was about to dump out my purse at the exit doors. Until she realized that I had no makeup at all in my purse which is what she had accused me of taking.
So freaking embarrassing. Never will go there again.
Nice wide aisles. Low prices. Wasn't that busy. Friendly, helpful staff. Item location seems very stable. Some products come and go, which is bothersome if you have a specific item that you want.
This place is awesome. They took a lady that was outside begging for food. And helped her out. I don't believe she new that she shouldn't have been doing that. God bless them.
Love to shop here cause of the great deals they have every week. Great produce selection, usually have what we need in stock, but always check your receipts before leaving the store. Sometimes the cashiers scan things two or three times.
This superstore has lots choices to choose from ranging from fresh produces and bakery, frozen foods, meats, frozen/ live seafoods and etc. The good things is that they usually have all the sales items available during the sales week. There seem to be always a pricing label problem in the vegetables section. Sales signs don't match the display item and worst part is that the item on shelf is similar and you cannot find the price anywhere on the shelf. So if you are not careful reading the whole sign and the items label, you will end up buying a more expensive item.
This Superstore is full of cheap food, compared to other grocery giants like Safeway and Walmart. Like shopping here because of the array of different cultural foods
Well this is my store of preference. Convenient and has everything you need from grocery shopping to pharmacy. Home decor and clothing! A quick stop for any home needs
Worst customer service in the Joe Fresh department. First time I went there waited around for 10 minutes but no one came to let me try stuff on, so I bought it and decided to return anything that didn't fit. Came back to return it and same exact story, no one was there for a solid 10-15 minutes. Another lady was waiting to try stuff on, another customer left stuff on the counter and left the store instead of buying it. I went and got another person who worked there to page them, they came and let me into the change room, I tried on one item quickly (after saying I would need to ask him something right after) and he was nowhere to be seen again when I came out! I waited another ten minutes before just leaving with my original clothes that didn't fit right. Absolutely ridiculous! And you can't return clothes at the normal customer service I'm told. Won't shop for clothes at this store ever again.
I like that it is Canadian and has a large selection of organic produce and foods. It puts its seasonal items on clearance for great prices I can always find a deal.
I went shopping around 10 pm as Superstore is open until 11 pm. It was nice not having to deal with crowds of people, very relaxing shop. The staff at this location were amazing, so accommodating, considering that it was close to closing I couldn't believe how they went out of their way to help us. Our cart was making some weird noises so the manager, no less, brought us another cart. I asked for cash back at the till but had forgotten that the clerk had asked if we were using debit to which I answered yes, she didn't have a cash drawer, the reason for her question. To accommodate my mistake in requesting money the manager went to customer service and brought me back the cash. We had qualified for the free gift for spending the amount required to receive the gift. It happened to be a Poinsettia which they had asked if we had a cat, which we do, apparently they're poisonous to cats. I appreciated that they asked previously to just giving us the plant. Instead they gave us 25,000 points in exchange for not being able to get the plant. If that isn't fantastic customer service for all that they did for us I don't know what is! Kudo's to the staff at this location for the outstanding service!
