No Frills falls short in multiple aspects that directly impact its employees. The unreliable scheduling, lack of available shifts, and ineffective management create a sense of frustration, undervaluation, and financial strain for the employees. It is imperative for No Frills to address these concerns and implement necessary improvements however they seem not to take it serious enough.

There is a clear disconnect between the management team and the employees. Their inability to address the scheduling and shift allocation issues demonstrates a lack of concern for their workforce. The management's inefficiency and disregard for employees' needs contribute to a demoralizing work environment. 0/5

No Frills is known for its promise of offering quality products at lower prices, but it seems that this store didn't get the memo. I found the prices to be significantly higher compared to other No Frills stores in the area, as well as other grocery stores nearby. It's frustrating to see the same items I regularly purchase at a reasonable cost being sold at inflated prices here.
Furthermore, the overall shopping experience was underwhelming

I love the no frills. I mainly shop at Costco. But when I run out of small basics I can go here and get fresh veggies and fruit quick snacks ect. So this is more of a community store. But so convenient. Quite, clean. I'd rather stroll around no frills before I go to Walmart.

Very disappointed in this No Frills. You can usually find deals at other No Frills locations but this one is basically a Superstore in disguise. In fact, some prices were higher than at Superstore.

On top of that, I had maybe 6 items in a small shopping cart and the girl at the self checkout said I couldn't go through because I had a cart. I literally could have taken the items out and put them in a basket and there would be no problem. I understand people do theft from self checkout but I had 6 items and there were two workers there.

Overall, very disappointed and will not return.

Was not what I was expecting. Also agree with the employment issue. No communication at all to employees for shifts. Very disappointed.

Great store, amazing staff, super happy Real is bringing back affordable groceries back into the community. Will come back for my future purchases.

Grand opening May 23,2023, i went there to check it out and get my groceries.
Nice, clean, well stocked store. Looks a lot better than what it was before as Save-On-Foods.
Staff were nice and ready. They also have self check-outs and PC Express.
No Pharmacy.
A great addition to this part of Edmonton to fill the gap left when the Save-On-Foods closed its door last year.

Fantastic looking store! All the staff were super nice. Great to have an affordable grocery store back in the neighbourhood. Will be here weekly!

No frills is a scam company to work for do not apply or accept a position they will only give you 15 hours a week and that's over five days. They do not hire full time they want 150 people on staff because they don't want to pay benefits. This company needs to be investigated by the government of canada and alberta and perhaps the unions should go after them. Stay far away if anyone sees an add for full tome employment contact me as its bait and switch employment. Do NOT WORK for these people. They say " your hired without even asking if you accept the conditions of employment they think people will just agree unfortunately we are much smarter then they are.
