Red Deer Mitsubishi

Today I wanted to test drive an outlander with my husband. Last week on my own I tried it and loved the drive. We want a comfortable vehicle for road trips and I thought the Outlander was the one for us. Unfortunately because of my experience with the sales person and her manager I will NOT purchase one from Red Deer Mitsubishi. Worst sales team ever. We had to wait nearly one hour for the girl to run around and keep telling us “just a minute more”. For an hour! Then when we were finally going to get our test drive she demanded my credit card! I have only ever needed my drivers licence to do a test drive. Last week at this same dealership I only had to show my drivers licence. So avoid this dealership if you want a Mitsubishi. Go anywhere else.

No star. All of the 5 star reviews are on the newer vehicles. Don't buy used here, the mechanics don't scope the vehicles at all and then sales tries to sell you vehicles that haven't been looked at just to get them off their backs.

The showroom has a very large selection of cars, not only Mitsubishi. Thank you very much Katе for the selection, advice, and recommendations when buying a car. Without her, we would not have been able to buy the vehicle we needed. She is a professional in her field!

I want to start off that Emma, Kyle, Ethan and Jordan are all amazing. A few years ago I had a bad experience with this dealership. I was called back to trade in my 2020 Outlander, I was hesitant to give them another try, I knew that new staff were put in place and decided to give them another try. Emma and her team were amazing, they listened and were able to get me into the vehicle of my dreams (2022 Outlander - Black). We had such a great experience this turn around that we traded in our other vehicle.the process was smooth and hassle free. I'm happy to say that we will be back in the future.

I had a bad experience when in comes to the used car I purchased 10 days ago but Cowboy Colt did his best in order for me to get a brand new car. Kudos to him, he is an awesome guy and very professional salesperson, he always make sure that everything he do is at the highest standard possible. No wonder why he has a lot of sales!

I took my dad's vehicle in once for an oil change and I gave them my number so they could message me when they were done. They have continually called and texted me for the last 4 years. Every person who called me said they deleted my number from their system. If they can't even be honest about removing my number from their system, I wouldn't trust this company.

Such a wonderful experience dealing with Andrew Mah. From the beginning I was set on one vehicle, and did not want anything other than that. He completely pulled the deal through. From the trade in, and finance, to the test drive and pick up, Andrew was honest, understanding and kind! I highly recommend Andrew for any vehicle needs!

I was very pleased today with Red Deer Mitsu getting my Outlander in quickly for overdue services. Nigel at the service desk was marvelous to deal with. He was polite and professional as well as super knowledgeable. All work order details were explained carefully and pricing too. Work was done within the estimated time frame and the completed work order was gone over and explained carefully for me. My car was freshly washed and wiped down. Very impressed with Nigel. I sure hope he’s there next time my car needs servicing. Nigel explained more about servicing needed in one visit than I’ve received in the last 7 years of having my SUV. I have bought three vehicles from this dealership and would certainly go back again. The new management at this location is top notch and very reasonable. Bought a new vehicle already have issues with the vehicle. Kind of regretting my purchase, I feel ripped off, they applied a credit back to the down payment without my permission, they also did not do any teaching of vehicle operation. The building manager was very helpful, but should be when only put 60 kms on and the vehicle did not start. They also called me about my recall parts being in. I didn't know there were issues. Frustrated not sure if they can fix this very upset given that it is a lot of money.

Went to Red deer mitsubishi on Saturday just to look at the available vehicles and ended up picking out a 2019 is Chevy Malibu Had a great experience there, the people there are super friendly and my sales person Kateryna Raietska was an absolute joy to deal with, answered all my questions and made me very at ease while going through the buying process. Horrible Businessmen! Got tires put on my car and the tires they put on are too big and every time I turn, the tires rub in the wheel wells. Guess they think that when my tires pop I'll be taking my car back there. Ha! Not a chance. STEER CLEAR OF RED DEER MITSUBISHI! A BUNCHA SCAM ARTISTS!

Visited red deer mitsubishi today and George was a great help. I dont normally go to dealerships as Ive had bad experiences with them in the past, but George definitely turned my experience around. He took care of me, answered all my questions, and put me in a car that I absolutely love. He was informative and helpul, he made sure that the features Im looking for were on the unit he showed me. Said car would be dropped off on Friday as soon as I had my insurance and registration ready. Since I was trading in my old vehicle when I switched it over I had no insurance on my old one. Now I'm left on a accrage with no car still. It's been a week. Not to mention the time off work because of this

I was a car salesman here for 3 days before I QUIT. I got an inside look of how disrespectful and terrible this business is. Hearing the derogatory things I have heard said about indigenous people by both the sales and finance department and how they feel about them made me sick to my stomach. I have indigenous family and I am proud to celebrate their heritage. My first client and very close personal friend of mine who was interested in purchasing a vehicle from me was met with unprofessionalism and rude comments when she walked out for watching another finance guy acting like a child on a Saturday in his office. The top finance guys working starting making derogatory remarks about my client being a "Karen" "Was her name Karen" 'was her daughters name Karen" (my client brought her teenage daughter). These things were being said while I was in the office. The sales manager then began making comments about her daughters shirt and how she looked. Funny that a grown man feels the need to make fun of a teenager. They never once respected my relationship with the client.some of the people working there are bigots and children and have no right to be making money off good people. I never want anyone to purchase a vehicle from here please. The caliber of people working here is appalling to say the least. I certainly hope they lose sales because I will NEVER recommend any Lagauto affiliated dealership to anyone looking for a vehicle. They simply don't deserve it. If you want to hear some bigotry and prejudice without you knowing it? Come work at Red Deer Mitsubishi. If you want to work 54 hours per week, 6 days a week with 0 breaks while "manly men" breath down your neck to make cold calls, come on down!

Duke has played a pivotal role in helping me out of a bad situation with my previous vehicle. Traded in my older model car and walked out with something newer, easy peasy and very fair pricing all around. Everyone was a total gem to work with and easy to talk to.

Big shout out to my sales rep, Ethan, who answered all my questions via text and email beforehand & had everything ready to go when I walked in the door. Ethan's product knowledge was on point, making our visit move even quicker. Bonus points for being a genuinely friendly and honest dude, no greasy sales guy vibes and no pressure tactics.

Dealership was clean and spacious, everyone was organized with no long waits while different departments worked together to make my deal happen. I needed an upgraded remote start installed and the timeline to get it in and done was super quick & won't delay me on my busy schedule.

Read the reviews, for every bad review, there’s a couple good ones with weird similarities.people praising the salesman by first and last name (so you know exactly their name when you walk in) they must literally have full time staff just to write fake reviews.just read the one where they wrongly priced the vehicle online.why am I not surprised lol.they’re idiots

I recently traded in my car for a 2019 Nissan Rogue. I am very happy with it so far. I told the salesman exactly what I was looking for and what I needed. I honestly did not think with my current credit rating that I was going to be able to get into exactly what I wanted. But Frank got me into it. It did take a little longer than expected but with current COVID situation and me being in a different city, he still did awesome. Kept me in the loop and had it delivered to me at my work. Zero inconvenience. Received what I was promised. Took it for a testride. Signed papers and could not be happier. I put alot of miles on and so far the gas mileage is fantastic. I highly recommend Frank and will go to him for all my future vehicle purchases. Never met the man and was not pushy. He listened to me and did everything he could to make me happy

UPDATE: I did not mention above because I felt confident that the trim was getting fixed. My car window trim was severely damaged from hail when I got car, was told they'd repair trim when parts come in in 6 weeks. Almost a year later and after talking to multiple people, my trim still not fixed and told they would not be fixing. They did a great job at making sale with me (my mother in law and brother in law purchased here before me), but will not be sending other family or friends and I will not be a repeat customer. My husband and I both purchase new vehicles every 2 years. Someone else who is honest and sticks to their word will be getting our personal and company business moving forward.
If a sales person from any dealership makes promises, this is the responsibility of the business to honor or provide proper training to workers as to not make the company look bad and disappoint customers.

I went from Calgary to Red Deer Mitsubishi to deal on Lexus 350 with salesperson Joshua. We inspected before taking the test drive and found the mudguard broken and the front grill cracked.
Joshua promised us that he would fix it and told us there is a mechanical issue with a panoramic roof, which will also be fixed without any price increase. After the test drive, we sat for negotiation and were told the price had increased by 10,000 $ when we were out for the test drive as the price quoted earlier was published wrongly by General Manager:). So Mr. Joshua will honour the earlier price, but no fixes will be done as he is giving me 10,000 $ discount. Lol! Guys are so clever here that posted 10,000 $ increase on their website but on all other social media channels posting old price.

If you want to rip off your money, go ahead and do the business here.

I was not able to reply to your comment, so editing my original review. @Luke, thanks for responding. I never asked for a single penny discount on the retail price mentioned on the website/social media before coming to the dealership. The issue I faced was the following:

a. Mistake happens. I have empathy with a clerical error on the wrong price quoted on the website. The problem is it was a scheduled appointment, not a walk-in, and I called twice to reschedule my appointment by 1/2 and 1 hr on the morning arriving. If the price was changed, I should have told on those two rescheduling calls.b. The inspection I did for the broken grill and broken mudguard was before even taking a test ride. It was clear if this is fixed, I will go ahead with a test ride and financial negotiation like cash/financing. And I was promised that it will be fixed at no extra cost than the retail price shown (24 hrs before).

I am not an internet troll and writing reviews from my basement. I am a genuine buyer with urgency and finances. While I was at your dealership, I asked Joshua to talk to his manager, but he never let me speak to you He said he knows your answer is no for fixing grill and mudguard; we were not provided a fair chance to explain our parts well.

Had the best experience ever with Crystyne and the rest of the team (but especially Crystyne). Came in with my 2018 F150 and they were able to get me into a 2018 eclipse cross with NO NEGATIVE EQUITY! Scored myself 2 of their electric scooter bikes as part of the deal as well. My previous vehicle was written off due a hit and run. Crystyne, Gage and George helped me find a vehicle that suited my needs and wants; they were very thorough and informative. The fine folk down at red deer mitsubishi went out of way in finding me a beautiful Ram 3500 cummins diesel! Even in this crazy vehicle market they succeded in finding me the truck I've been on the hunt for! They have more selection then most domestic truck stores! The whole team is great! I started out filling out this application online. This salesman call asks for a few minutes of my time. I declined. I went to work for a few months received a few follow texts about having sometime to do an application. Again I was like no I'm good im working ect. Anyways I was home one day and he text me, so I decided to give him a few minutes of my time. I dont have bad credit but not great, my insurance is through the roof. This sales man fought tooth an nail to get me into something affordable, and got me my insurance. This salesman's name is Andrew. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him. Now after three years not driving I'm on the road again and in something nice. THANKS Andrew!

When I came to Mitsubishi, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. Crystyne was who I dealt with. She made me feel so comfortable and listened to my wants and needs.
