The trail from Red Rock Canyon in Waterton Lakes National Park to Blakiston Falls is adventure and perfect to hike. It will take about 30 minutes to reach the falls observation deck. This is an easy hike to the falls. You can seeĀ canyon, creek, regenerating forest after a wildfire, and mountain peak.
We went there in the afternoon and when we arrived at the parking lot we walked 0.7km going to Redrock Canyon. A lot of people were there but it's a nice walk good exercise for the cardio. Our daughters want to feel the water from Redrock, so we let them experience it.and After that, we go back to the parking lot.when it comes to the public washroom, it's not really clean, a lot of flies inside the washroom.the window is kept closed.but overall, we enjoyed the scenery.
A very easy trail around a phenomenal natural rocky landscape. The canyon is easily accessible from haphazard rocks in place as stairs to the bottom, where adventurers can continue exploring up to a limited distance and get their feet wet in the cool, clear water at the bottom. There is also a 1 km trail towards a waterfall beyond the canyon, which is mostly flat and is definitely worth considering after walking around and through the canyon.
It was definitely beautiful and worth seeing but I would go during a better time of year and when they're not doing construction. Obviously there is no wifi there which is a big deal for some but it's worth the visit, for sure.
Great family experience. You can wade in the water and travel along the canyon for a little bit. Limited parking, so you may need time it in the morning or late in the afternoon. Plenty of hiking trails to explore.
Nice place to visit. I need to explore more in this area People! Stop chasing a young bear with your car! How would you feel if I would do this to you!?
This is a beatiful and unique area to visit in Alberta. It's also good for people who don't want to hike since you only need to walk for a while then you can see the Red Rock Canyon already. There were closed areas due to falling rocks which limits you to explore the canyon and more people are stucked in one area because of that. Other than that, still great to visit. Make sure to bring some flip flops or water resistant shoes.
Always a pleasure to visit Red Rock Canyon. Even without getting to the canyon the drive there is absolutely stunning. When you get to the canyon, the view is absolutely unique and being able to go down into the canyon and see things up close is such a pleasure! Don't miss this up when you're in Waterton
