Best haircut experience of my life. Michelle was so welcoming and took the time to understand my hair and needs. I liked the check in sheet at the beginning where I could indicate how chatty I was feeling and what extra services I wanted. The complementary hot towel and head/neck massage were phenomenal! I haven’t been that relaxed in a long time.

Can’t wait to come back for my next treatment.

Went to my first appointment at RedBloom Salon Bridgeland today after it being recommended. It did not disappoint. The salon itself has a great, hip vibe. The receptionist (Rachel) was warm and welcoming.

I was in to get my shoulder length hair cut to a short style, and while not nervous, did hope for a great hairstylist who understood the potential pitfalls of wavy, course and thick hair. The stylist I was lucky enough to connect with was Senior Stylist Lindsey who gave me a stellar haircut. She was fun, and clearly knew how to deal with my type of hair. I came out with a great cut and feeling much lighter with how much hair we cut off!

Bottom line: This salon is fantastic and I highly recommend it.

I have so many great things to say about Amanda. She listens and gives recommendations based on my hair. She's also taken time to style it. All good things to say about her as a stylist. Strongly recommend!

I’ve been seeing Niki for a few years now. Niki always asks how the current cut and colour are working for me and what I am thinking of for the current visit She never makes me feel rushed. I trust her judgement on cuts and colours. My daughter needed a fresh cut and colour so I treated her to one with Niki. She loves it. It looks great. Niki also did a fresh cut for my granddaughter and she loves it too. Niki is so pleasant and genuine. I love our conversations as well.

Niki takes the time to ensure gorgeous natural blonde highlights. I first came to Niki for a correction, one which I was worried would take multiple visits to fix, but she brought my highlights back to life with one visit. I continue to trust Niki with my highlights for her precision in foil selection and the beautiful natural highlights she can achieve which grow out beautifully with hardly any visible root line.

Sarah was super knowledgeable on the style, cut, colour, etc that I wanted in my mind and helped to guide me to exactly what I wanted to walk out of the salon with. She was so personable considering we just met and incredibly efficient with my appointment, without lacking expertise and quality. I would absolutely recommend her!

I enjoyed Jana's company as she focused on my hair and was conversational, but not so that it distracted her. I liked the fact that she is mature as I am an "older adult" and it's important for me to connect with a stylist. Jana is also motivated to become a proficient hair artist.

Jana listened well, and I felt confident that I got what I asked for (a trim of a bob). She offered a conditioning treatment, but I declined saying that my hair was badly damaged and may not improve much with the treatment. When I asked her about adding a fringe, she recommended against it. She felt the cut was appropriate, and that my "widow's peak" might interfere.

We talked about how I would manage the peppered root colour with the blond highlights and very blond in some places. She agreed with me leaving the roots alone to see how things evolved, yet suggested at the end of our session that she could add some "baby lights" to homogenize the growth with what exists. I made a booking to have this light treatment done.

I had the advantage of a 50% promotional discount for new stylists, which added to the excellence of the experience and the ability to manage my budget.

Brought my daughter in for a long cut and style. Niki did a fantastic job! Niki asked what our expectations were made a few suggestions and BAM! My Daughter and I were more then happy with the results.

I really enjoyed my cut and colour with Megan. I have super thin hair and it is hard to find a stylist that doesn't just focus on that negative. Love the vibe here.

Lori will take the time to understand what you want to achieve, set expectations and recommend what is best for your hair and lifestyle. Lori is always so kind and easy to talk to which makes me feel very comfortable and the appointment feels like it flies by. I also go to Lori cause she is experienced and understands how to style/cut/color asian hair. She never pressures you to buy product and is just happy to give you tips/tricks. She respects your time and is very punctual for appointments. Love her - highly recommend!

Michelle has always been fantastic at listening to what I want and bringing it to life! She’s always a treat to chat with and is fantastic at helping me figure out my hair journey. She’s done long blonde balayage at one point to short red now. She knows her stuff and can work magic for you! Would always recommend Michelle for your hair needs.

Dawn is fantastic and always does a great job. She gave me a fabulous updated look and I received three compliments in less than 30 mins. She is not only my stylist but I consider her a friend.

Kassandra has excellent attention to detail and can always make my hair look good. She makes it easy for me to maintain the look by chatting about how to style my hair and also keeping track of when I’m due for colour, bang trims, etc. An amazing talented, friendly, and professional stylist. I can't recommend Lindsey L.enough! She is extremely talented and I have never left her chair without feeling very happy. The last visit she put in extensions and I have received countless compliments from people regarding them. If anyone is looking for a hairstylist you can trust I would without a doubt send them to Lindsey.

I’ve been 5 times to the Bridgeland Redbloom location. And have only had two good experiences and one of the two good experiences was a consult.

The first time I went was for a haircut this was the only good experience besides the consult.

I went for a consult for a colour got the colour done and the colour was blonde/brown instead of a light Auburn red, it was not matched correctly at all, I was charged over 300.00 for it, I had a chemical reaction all over my head and down my neck, a big section at the base of my scalp was also missed when toned so it was still white from the bleach.

They did right by me, when I called and complained but the colour was still not matched correctly as promised in the consult.

The next time I went was for a haircut and the cut was good, the hairstylist wasn’t very friendly but she was good at her job. However I was charged twice (230.00) and it took a month to get a refund.
I won’t be coming back. My time is valuable, and the cost of their service is extremely high for the bad experiences I’ve had and the time I’ve had to take out of my busy schedule, having to go down there and get them to fix the colour, and having to chase them down for my refund.
Don’t pay debit here, if I would have paid credit I would have disputed the charge and my credit card company could have handled everything.
The only reason why I gave the company two stars is because Troy made sure I got my money back.

Went there for hair cut and highlight.three times tried 3 different stylist.all three sessions were great. They are strictly following covid protocols.

They don't take cash, and they will belittle you and humiliate you for coming in with legal cash tender. It's so shameful how a pandemic can turn people so sideways and nutty.

Staff was awesome and my little girl (12) finally got a great haircut after years of searching for a good salon. Highly recommend this location to anyone.

We went for a consult for a hair colour for my 14 year old daughter with Megan. When we went for our actual appointment Megan was great. My daughter absolutely loves the hair colour and the cut of new bangs. I would highly recommend.

This salon has 6 levels of stylists. I saw 3 stylists at 2 locations over 3 years. The 85 St location is the best! Especially Amber she is amazing! And Taylor. I then went to the new location downtown as I moved and was phoned by the owner 2 weeks after I had to have a redo. I was told by the owner I could only see the top 2 levels of stylists as no one “ felt comfortable “ doing my blonde highlights. This was also emailed to me. This would be at a cost of $300+ because the level 1 stylist I saw could not make my hair blonde because she did not lift it enough. I was told she does a lot of blonde when booking. (never happened with 2 entry level stylists at another location) She wanted to recoup the $ it cost for the redo. I was banned from the salon after exchanging not so nice emails about it, where I asked how a stylist got licensed when up to level 4 did not feel comfortable. I wonder what the licensing board would think about that? Thought you had to do that to pass the exam? Just avoid the female owner at the locations of this salon, most stylists and staff are kind, but not all! This part owner is at home but goes in and reads the appointment books once a week and goes over what the manager does which must be difficult for the manager. Just be aware that they may not be able to do blonde hilites if they are not the top 2 levels. Previous reviews on Yelp show this too.

Alannah trimmed my 3 ft long hair, and she did exactly what I explained. Excellent consultation, and I'm so happy with her, and how she evaluated my needs. I felt like she truly listened, and gave my exactly what I couldn't picture, but knew I wanted. I'll be heading back to see Alannah for sure!

I’m extremely protective and particular about my hair. I have super thick hair and my haircuts typically take forever. I had a horrible experience at a high profile salon (will not name) when I moved to Calgary 10 years ago, when I finally gave in to try a new place. I was devastated. I called Red Bloom in Bridgeland in the aftermath, after reading reviews, in tears (literally). I told them what had happened and what I needed. They were super kind, asked all the right questions, and matched me with literally the perfect person to fix and cut my hair. I haven’t gone anywhere since. And don’t plan to do so. EVER. They are amazing. ️

My first haircut in over 2 years, Megan at the Red Bloom Bridgeland location gave me the Mullet of my dreams! She was incredibly creative, friendly, professional and talented! I feel like a new woman! Why did I wait over 10 years to go back? !? This Lady will not be shaving her head again any time soon!

My names Shwn. My experience with red bloom was ABSOLUTELY HORRID. I am so disappointed and in tears of my results I am in pain and suffering emotionally and physically. My scalp is so scabbed I’m scared to wash it because I fear my hair will fall out. The colour is the opposite of what I wanted I called and I was so respectful and still didn’t get a solution. If could them 0 stars I would but there’s only the option to put to 1 so that’s what I give red bloom salon stay far away if u want to keep ur hair. It was done by nikkie.

RedBloom is an amazing salon! The staff are wonderful and Katelyn - my stylist - is incredibly talented.
I have very thick, corse hair so I am very picky about how it looks and feels.

I went to Redbloom Bridgeland for the first time and saw Katelyn. She was amazing! I had an idea in mind and she suggested something as close as possible that would match my hair type. The end result was fantastic! I will definitely be going back to see her. The salon was so clean and up to date with all the COVID-19 rules. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or anything. All the staff I dealt with were so friendly and helpful as well. If your looking for a new salon to visit or worried about visiting one during the pandemic, I would for sure recommend Redbloom. They will make you feel safe and comfortable.

It has been almost a month now since I got a cut and high lights. My Stylist was nice and friendly. I received no survey upon returning home at all. Before I booked the appointment I asked for a student to do the work and they booked me in at that rate. However: upon checking out It was $50.00 more then quoted.again no one called me back to discuss and no survey, I have been to this salon before. Highly disappointed when asked for the manager to return my call it never happened, why not may I ask? Thanks

The staff and stylists are so kind; a friend of mine experienced domestic abuse, and her hair was almost ruined from her injuries. I was able to book her appointment and pay remotely from Texas - most salons turned me down/thought I was a scammer, and the staff at RedBloom were kind, caring and compassionate to my friend who required extra time due to the severity of her injuries. Thank you; and if you're thinking of making an appointment - go. Before we moved to Texas, I went there on a couple occasions for routine blowouts, and all the stylists were so kind. I would I could give them 10 stars.

I've been going to Jay at RedBloom for over a year and she is absolutely wonderful. The experience at RedBloom has always been exceptional with tea, communication about your hair needs, and fair prices.

I moved to Calgary this summer and after visiting a couple other salons downtown, have finally found my forever salon right in my neighborhood! The whole experience at RedBloom was great from start to finish; I loved the menu at the beginning; it’s the little “extras” that all kind of add up to a great experience! My hair turned out perfectly and I even got my eyebrows tinted at the same time which was a bonus! Kaitlin is great at what she does, so I would recommend her again and again!

I have been needing to find a new salon since I moved too far from the one I've been going to for over 10 years, now. So I popped into Redbloom and Megan was the one to help me get my hair back to place I was happy with! The salon itself is stylish and comfortable, and my experience couldn't have gone better!
