The Salon is great! The stylist takes time to explain and is very gentle and courteous through out the whole procedure. My daughter gets her bangs done from this place and I recently did my hair color and cut and very please. Will definitely visit again.

Whitney is a fantastic hairstylist. She truly takes the time to address the needs of her customers and her cuts are always exceptionally done.

Jordan is the best! My hair is very thick/long, lots of people struggle with it; I used to get stressed getting my hair cut but I never feel that way with her, she’s too good.

OVERALL TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! The place is very fancy and I was fooled by many of the 5 star reviews but the end result is terrible! At the end of your appointment they "suggest" you give a 5 star review. All the girls seemed like they were in a huge rush to go home! The colour of my hair is absolutely HORRIBLE! There is a black square in the middle of my head due to the bad positioning of the colour. The blowdrying experience was rushed and my hair came out looking dry and brittle! Everything about my experience today was bad. Furthermore, BEWARE OF THEIR "15 MINUTE LATE POLICY"! If you arrive more then 15 minutes late they will charge you $50, but they "forget" to inform you about such policy at the time of booking your appointment. If I could give 0 stars I would. NEVER GOING BACK AND WILL BE DEMANDING A REFUND!

Jordon was very professional and did a great job, especially as she was new to the salon for a couple of days. Would definitely recommend her. She was so nice and we got on well. She listened and got my hair just right as I couldn't get to see Whitney. A great addition to the salon.

This is a great salon! I’ve never been taken care of better. I came in with major concerns with my hair and the stylist has worked wonders on my hair! Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating.

Amber is amazing! I’ve been seeing her for a few years now. She never disappoints. The ladies at the front are always so sweet and the service is excellent.

This is the second I’ve had Lucy and both times she has done an amazing job with my hair. She’s very nice and I look forward to having her again.

First time here, grad stylist Monica was beyond amazing and talented. She was very kind and professional throughout the appointment, the scalp massage was awesome, she asked all the appropriate questions to make sure that I get exactly what I want. She payed attention to all the details and made sure that I get a precise cut. I am super happy with the result. She is very skilled and I am definitely coming back.

Thea is awesome! She has always done a great job with colouring, cutting, and styling my hair! She took great care to figure out an allergic reaction I suspect I've been having to the colouring agent. I think she may have solved the problem and I am just thrilled.
I also appreciate the friendliness, professionalism, and overall great customer service I experience with every single interaction whether by telephone, or in person. No visit to the salon is complete without Amanda at the front desk who has a way of making me feel right at home.

My wife did exactly as they asked and reached out over email explaining in detail her experience, we are now at 3 weeks with zero reply or acknowledgment. Couldn’t be more disappointed in this salon and there zero level of professionalism at this point.

Not sure where to begin.

The tears from my wife afterwards…. Being out 400$ for hair that didn’t even turn blonde……the arrogance of the stylist to not even apologize……the lack of basic services (no head massage) It’s super disappointing to actively pursue what is deemed the “best” salon experience in Calgary for this.

She went in for blonde treatment with a full head of foils and the stylist ended up using so much toner it was darker than when she started. Went out of our way to choose a senior stylist and ended up with a worse hair experience than a chatters. Sad!

I’m not going to say who the stylist was, as that doesn’t help anyone. Nonetheless, SUPREMELY disappointed. Right before Christmas, she slaughtered my wife’s hair.

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Tara; it was the best time I’ve had. Her services were amazing, she is so great to talk to; I definitely got my therapy fix (; she was very communicative when doing my hair; she let me know everything that was going on.

Came in for a hair cut, paid $100, came back for a bang trim and I left with a chunk missing. Not great, leaving for vacation and now I have to figure out how to hide this mistake. Can’t believe she let me walk out like this.

Went in the past Saturday for a cut/ color with Shara. She gave me a beautiful and vibrant red which was exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend and will be back!

Had highlights done at another salon 6 months ago and had been hating them the whole time. I was looking for a new salon and booked with Taylor V. I told her all the things I hated about my current hair and she really took her time to discuss tone and placement. It turned out great, two weeks later I still love it. Found my new salon!

My experience at Red Bloom Salon at the West 85th location was wonderful! All the staff here were extremely friendly and helpful! I got a hair cut as well as a bang cut by Mariah R, it was amazing! She cut my hair beautifully and it grew out great as well! Overall super happy with my experience here, I will be coming back shortly!

Went for haircut on Monday and was not happy. Thought it would be better once I washed and styled it myself. It should be easier after haircut not worse. I will never go back.

I recently went in for my first appointment at RedBloom and I was very disappointed. After posting my review here, a manager called me and invited me back in to fix it. She was able to get me in the next day and they did an amazing job and now I love my hair! I’m very happy and will absolutely be returning!

Went in for a fade and to touch up the top of my hair. I don’t remember her name but she cut my head 4 times and the fade was so un-even it looked like she did it on purpose.

Also was charged a $5 sanitation fee as if they only started cleaning their equipment after the pandemic began.

Had to go directly to a barber after to attempt to fix my hair.

My appointment was for a blowout, I called ahead of time to inquire about prices and told me $50, but there is a $10 off coupon for first-time clients. The staff were very friendly, and the decor was fabulous. It took an hour and a half to blowout my hair, half an hour more than I expected, although my hair is up to my elbow, which can be tricky for stylists, not 100% comfortable or skilled with blowouts. The stylist did a pretty good job - she ensured it was sleek, but the volume inherent to a blowout was missing. I went to pay, thinking at least it was a reasonable price and was charged an unexpected and priorly unexplained $25 for styling and SANITIZATION fees! Considering I asked the price before booking my appointment, I felt robbed but left with a generous tip. Safe to say, I won't be going back.

It would be great if salons stopped acting as they know what a blowout is and charging ridiculous prices for what can be accurately completed by a stylist almost anywhere in the world for half the price!

Consumers beware of the $40 dollar lure for blowouts!

I've been going to RedBloom for 10 years and had the pleasure of being with the same stylist. Quality of service has always been consistent and amazing!

It’s always top notch at RedBloom. Their COVID safety protocols have made me feel safe each time I’ve been at the salon. Claire is a hair wizard and I always leave with an amazing cut that grows out beautifully. She’s also amazing at listening to what you want with your hair and giving you functional hair.

Shara is a very talented stylist and I always appreciate her technique in how she cuts and styles my hair. She is professional and always greets me with a smile! Red Bloom has gone over and above in helping customers feel safe while in the salon and I think you for this.

The staff are excellent and friendly. The establishment is clean, organized, and convenient with lots of parking. COVID safety procedures are excellent and reassuring. If you require a trim I would give 6 stars. Unfortunately, I received a horrific haircut, that I can do nothing with until it grows out. I explained what I wanted to exhaustion, brought pictures. I've had and loved bangs before, but this is, unfortunately, horrible. I would highly recommend for simple trims or men's trims. Products sold are also great. Proceed with caution if you're getting anything drastic or expecting to walk out transformed and feeling great.

I went to West 85th Redbloom Salon for a cut and color with Sarah. My experience was as always top notch! The staff was very professional and organized in terms of new COVID procedures. Based on a few picture examples I provided, Sarah did a bayalage technique in cooler blonde color to move away from my brassy blonde. She understood exactly what I wanted and delivered excellent result. Sarah also shared with me some valuable tips on the upkeep of the cool blonde color in between salon appointments. Love, love, love my new color! Thank you very much Sarah and Redbloom staff for an amazing experience!?

I LOVE coming to this salon. Amber is amazing. She takes her time finding out what you want and has great suggestions. She’s kind and a joy to be around. It can be very expensive getting your hair done these days, but I find the prices very reasonable. After discussing what you’d like they come back with a quote, so it’s never a shock at the end. You can choose 2 free services, hand massage, hot towel treatment, scalp massage and more.
When you get there they know you’re coming and you’re greeting very kindly and professionally. I HIGHLY recommend this salon.

If you want pampering this is the spot. They give you a sheet to fill in when you arrive where you indicate whether you're in a chatty mood or just want a quiet experience which I very much appreciated. I went to a lower end salon previously and they butchered my hair. I decided to try Red Bloom to get it fixed. My stylist, Amber, knew exactly how to handle my difficult hair and fixed the butcher job for me - I'm now in love with my cut! She also took the time to teach me how to do the beachy wave style. The scalp and hand massages were the icing on the cake! There is coffee, tea, water, fancy water and every staff member I interacted with was fabulous. Treat yourself and come here!

I originally got my haircut and was unhappy with the end result. I left a negative review. To my surprise I was contacted within hours from the owner to rectify the situation. They made a new appointment for me with a stylist of my choosing to redo my haircut free of charge without hesitation. Taylor did a wonderful job redoing my hair. She really listened and did what I asked. She didn't rush and gave me A+ treatment. My daughter got her haircut done by Reagan and she loves it too. Thank you for really caring about customer satisfaction!

I cannot stress how amazing this salon is! My hair needed a complete makeover (I had been home bleaching for about a year) and Kayla totally transformed my hair into complete gorgeousness. The salon is super chic and I love that they give you "menus" to fill out when you get there. Will definitely be back.

I booked in on a cancellation for a same day haircut and.well, I was treated like it. Very perfunctory.

My regular stylist at East Village didn't have an opening available for a month, but I did want to get a cut before then, so I called West 85 for a shot-in-the-dark at a same day appointment because I was going to be in the area. I had never been there but expected a similar experience to what I received Downtown and at East Village. In fact the whole experience was cursory, transactional, and ordinary.

I now realize that RedBloom Downtown and East Village have spoiled me into expecting a consistently noteworthy experience (whether I re-book or book in last minute). The frontline staff provide the highest calibre of customer service and I always end up with an incredible and unique haircut from my stylist. Without exception. It's not "good". It's "outstanding". That's what you're paying for.

I am excited to return to my regular stylist at East Village. I will not be returning to West 85.

All I can say is Whitney is the best! RedBloom is absolutely one of the best salons in Calgary area. This salon is the reason I'm now hooked on Aveda products (such a life changer)! It's a drive from downtown but SO worth it. The customer service is outstanding and the hand massages during the treatments are such a nice touch. I moved away from Calgary a few years ago but if I'm ever back in the area, I know where I will be going for my cut and colour!

Very friendly staff make you feel very comfortable with all the little extras. Reagan gave me a great colour, I just love it, so soft too. She also make me think about what I wanted in a hair cut and did an awesome job.

I came to to the location for 85th for the first time today, and honestly it was one of the best hair cutting experiences i ever had.
Ive been coming to redbloom for a long time but today I had an appointment with Claire on 85th for the first time. She did an incredible job and on the quality of the cut and was also very friendly and sociable. She was such a great listener and took the time to listen to me talk about what i want and make sure she understood before snipping. I am very picky about my hair and I absolutley loved everything. Wouldnt change anything about the experience.

The best hair salon. Just the nicest people you'll meet and Amber was just the loveliest. She was so attentive and caring and listened to all my requests for my hair, which is super appreciated because I really don't like when people at a salon push their own hopes and dreams for your hair on you. I've been to many high end salons over the past 20 years and this is by far the best. Sara is the best stylist that ever did my hair. She is professional, knowledgable, and a great artist. She is amazing at color and cuts, and made my fine hair look stunning. I've never had so many compliments about my hair. The cut and color were done with amazing professionalism and lasted for weeks. Sara provided me with great advice and tips on hair care. She also did a wonderful make-up touch up that all my friends complimented. Will definitely be back!

Kayla has been my stylist for years and has always done a great job. I love the atmosphere and the parking is a bonus!
