I chose an MOA program in Reeves College about one year ago. Today I think I can speak loudly that I made a right choice.
Reeves College is great because you will have many choices when you are trying to sharpen your skills. The staff of college are amazing because they are so responsible and knowledgeable.

Just graduated from this school, I loved the 2year course jammed packed into 44 weeks, I'm not the type of person who can sit through part time school for the full two years so I never graduated any of my classes before but now I have! I got lots of support but my one thing about the school is the high prices of classes. Just note if you want to go to this school to have extra funding in your back pocket. The amount for the class is close to the maximum of how much student aid can give annually with no room for extra funds! Which is fine for those who have family support or are able to get scholarships and grants but as a foster kid who was on Alberta works before ei went to school I struggled for months to pay for basic needs. Other than that the school was great, and the instructors are amazing!

Reeves College has changed my career in positive way I have just a month left to graduate i am enrolled in Business & Digital Marketing Management and i learned so many things regarding the jobs and how a company runs, this program has given me opportunity in two sectors one Administration and other in Digital Marketing. Mr. Nafis Ahmed is my instructor, he is very calm and understanding and has taught each and every course very nicely. I have never faced any problems and Also want to mention Mrs. Dipika Dosajh She was my instructor for Fundamentals in Accounting and the way she taught it I didn't have any background of accounts or any commerce but she made each and every concept clear that now i can handle small accounting works. I am glad i joined this program.

I am currently enrolled in GDT. The staff are amazing and super helpful. The courses are easy to pickup and learn.

Reeves College was easy to approach, they assisted me with Loan application as well. I did found tuition fees little higher for online college. My instructor Dr. Sidra Khan is outstanding person, dedicated and knowledgeable. After she marks assignments and points mistakes, she returns them back for extra review. I found this very helpful. She showed so much understanding during this intense course. I have to mention Bobby, too. Bobby guided me through Outlook, Excel and Word. He is always available on chat, he answers questions super fast, in professional manners. All in all - positive experience!

It was one of the best experiences I had. Excellent instructors and the administrative staff was wonderful helping and guiding every step of the way.

I’ve had a pretty good experience with This Reeves campus, the practicum coordinator is great and very helpful with understanding the graduating process and setting me up for a practicum placement. As for classes I can’t really comment as I took classes at their sister school CDI but the teacher for my MOA diploma was also amazing. I’ve come to this Campus a few times and the staff is very friendly and helpful and always have been supportive when needed.

I’m at the last stretch of my MOA course, I have learnt so much and my instructor Sidra has been amazing, she is very patient and answers all my questions, she has always taken the time to get me back on track when I fall behind, she is a very friendly person with so much knowledge. Overall I am very pleased with my experience and so happy I had takin this program. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to get back in school… Thanks so much!

First Time going to reeves, I do all my courses online which is very convenient for me an my instructor William akoto is very helpful and Patient with me and I’m learning a lot 10/10 would recommend

Attending this school has been an absolutely amazing experience. The instructors are extremely helpful and the staff are professional yet personable. I couldn't have picked a better school to go to.

I am truly impressed with this College. My instructor Sheida, gives a positive outlook and attitude in the classroom. She is very kind and helpful whatever I need her, anytime even if is not on her schedule. One of the best things about college i s that I'm getting a new experience every day. Thank you!

So I graduated this year but I still can't find employment I got a call from one of the staff asking me did I find employment no. I didn't an furthermore my teams keeps giving me notifications an they locked me out. So now I can't get into teams cause my college email is locked. Why would you lock my email. Cause now I can't sign in incase there is something important. This isn't right.

Absolutely RUN from this school. I have now had 3 different teachers, the school refuses to teach them how to use teams. They charge you whatever they feel like for tuition and book fees. Their administration staff also changes quite frequently. We have now had 2 different directors and now their will be another one. We have also never had a solid practicum coordinator, so do not expect help with finding one, that is all is left up to you to find. Currently their is no director or practicum coordinator.why you might ask? Well after a month of these people being in these roles they have been "promoted" to something else.which begs the question, Is anyone qualified to be in the roles they even have when in less than a month they can somehow all get magically "promoted"

Very efficient and very "real world" programs. As a first time online learner Reeves has made it simply a breeze. Its never been easier to better yourself through education.

"I was one of the students of reeves college Campus" Since for one year when I finished the course, I could not get Practicum, this time I decided to get practicum but I can't get Practicum still!

I applied for the business management course and when my funding came back less than the course cost, the school told me to "get my life together and call them back" when I could afford it. I canceled my enrollment and they didn't cancel through student finance so I was unable to enroll in a school that was in my budget. I found 7 courses that were within my budget, so do yourself a favor and shop around. I am disappointed in how they treated me as this was my first time trying to get into school in over 20 years. I am still struggling with them to cancel my enrollment so my education is on hold.

One teacher refused to mark my homework unless I left a review for their college. Three email exchanges happened before I compromised so I could get on with the course. I’m a single parent and didn’t want to be out the time and money. I was also accused of cheating, which I proved I didn’t. I emailed a teacher the test so she could load it in their marking system. Because it was loaded from a computer other than mine, it set off a red flag. Which I clarified. The accuser acknowledged I didn’t cheat. However, I only received one chance to send my resume to a possible employer, which was over an hours drive from me! Not even in Calgary. They have huge posters saying that you will be offered 35$ an hour working in these professions and they advertise that they send you opportunities from employers. They are very slick describing your future but very obtuse once they have your money. Even a teacher flatly saying, you won’t be working in a hospital right away.

Reeves College is very family orientated and they care about where you are going and how to succeed. I've tried attending other post secondary institutions and was always given impossible walls to hurdle such as i can't apply without a loan or funding and i can't apply for funding without being accepted. I was told my grades were not good enough and i had to do plenty of upgrading and higher my marks in some areas before i even inquire on some courses.i was searching online a couple months ago looking into post secondary and i clicked a link completing a personality test and before i knew it i got emails and calls about a meet and great for the following day.they said i was eligible to attend and can apply that very day! Now im enrolled and im in school after a few years of obstacles and walls being tossed my way and all i had to do was change direction, perspective and connect with people who are interested in seeing me succeed!

Just finished my first week, and I am excited to continue. I was afraid at first, but the instructor is very friendly, and made me feel like I will be able to complete this with ease.

Admissions and advisors have been wonderful. Lots of support and information offered from instructors and mentors.

The college discounts $100 off tuition for a positive review. No wonder the 5-star reviews here come from the students in the midst of the program. As the business minded staff at Reeves has figured, the best reviews are coming from hope, not experience - from those who have not hit the market yet and got all disappointed, because they can't even land an interview, based on their joke of a diploma.

Reeves College is a wonderful experience for any student willing to get both an engaging education as well as life experience. The staff is nothing short of being expectational as they are committed to the education of the students and advancement of their real world experiences. The instructors are talented and ardent people. I found my main instructor Zaki to be an overall wonderful person, They way he taught helped me a great deal in class. He is very effective in teaching as he was able to stimulate the class as we had all of our classes online. He made sure we understood the material given and would let us think about what was been taught and read form our text books to ensure we had a full understanding of the subject at hand. He was always willing to help and to explain whenever needed. I just want to say a big thanks to Reeves as I started my course in the middle of the pandemic which left me feeling a little unsure of the future, but now I can say I am looking forward to the road that lies ahead as I am employed in my field of study.

It is helping to me to understand better how to use and create student web sites and use my computer in new ways. It is also helpful to prepare me in understanding financial matters more clearly and to look more deeply at how I can increase my own net worth. My chosen area of study will then help me to be more effective with these skills in place.

People involved in every step of process in getting admission are very friendly and made the process very easy.staff are well knowledgeable

I thought the course material was extremely helpful to helping students stay organized and responsible financially, physically, and preparing notes and for exams.

Stay away from this place.

A trap for desperate immigrants or local no-hopers. It catches those poor souls with an implication of good wages 'in a year'. Ask yourself: are you that low in life that you fall for scams?

- The college's "financial advisor" offers a shady scheme for a student to pay them 50% of tuition and 115% of the books' cost upfront, to be reimbursed for that extra 15% of the books 6 months later when they receive the second 50% of tuition. Please tell me any respectable educational institution does that?

- I am not sure about the purpose of this complexity, but basically that is 60% of tuition and 50% of the books costs upfront. I suspect, it's because the dropout of disappointed students is humangous, and they have to milk the cow before it runs away. All that while in most post-secondary institutions you pay per course as you go.

- They recruit students into programs through irrelevant salary stats. The Admissions Rep.sends a prospective $42/hour ($72 000/year) salary of a Director with a Masters degree giving you a false impression the actual salary of a college diploma graduate is going to be that. The statistical data published by Service Canada, though, shows an entry level wage of around $20/hour. Moreover, most of the real job ads related to this diploma require at least a Bachelor's degree. Please do your research and do not fall for their cheap misrepresentation of facts.

- Good luck getting a career in the field. They charge juicy 2-digit thousands dollars fee for a 10 month program that has a slim chance to be even recognized by a descent employer, while respectable post-secondary institutions often cost twice less and are better received on the job market.

- They rush you through signing documents and do not give time to read them, but if you have questions, because you suspect you are being duped, you will wait for weeks for conserns to be addressed.

- Staff and faculty turnover rate is alarming! And the qualification and ethics of the ones left is yet to transpire.

- Even the newly hired Calgary downtown Campus Director advises that "it is always best to cash your MSFAA's prior to cancelling a student loan". If it is not a suggestion to misuse the funds that government gives you towards your full-time studies, then what is it?

This place has clearly an alternative view on educational standards.

I was a reeves student a year ago. I miss those days, i was lucky to have Sidra as my teacher. But unfortunately I didn’t get job related to my field.but I don’t regret choosing reeves.

I was applying to a few different schools just to get more info about programs and Reeves College was the first place to get a hold of me. Leslie Abbott contacted me about the MOA program, and she wasn't pushy like most sales people are and she was genuinely friendly. If it wasn't for her, I probably would not have gone back to school! That was April of 2020. Its now February 2021, I have finished my practicum, and was hired on full time at Crowfoot Village Family Practice as an MOA. The instructors are great! Sidra Khan, the medical office administrator instructor, is amazing! She teaches in a way that all students understand and if they still don't get it, she'll help you 1 on 1. It is fast paced and a challenge, but well worth it. Thanks Sidra for helping me reach my goals.

I graduated from reeves college three years ago. I would say that I should’ve done my research before signing up. It is very expensive and the training material is in very low standards. They promised they’ll fine you a practicum placement but that did not happened with the practicum coordinators Valbona. I found my own practicum and now still employed with this company. This college should be shut down. The instructors are not paid well. I was just luck to have a good instructor for the MOA course. Other than that, I would say go somewhere else. Don’t waste your time and money. I regretted I went to this college.

I am posting this review specifically for my instructor Ms. Sidra Khan under whom I did my Medical Office Administration course. Ms. Sidra Khan is such a dedicated and honest teacher I could have ever found in Canada. She does put more efforts than students itself. You hardly find a teacher who is more worried and concerned than you. She is that one teacher. These five stars are only for her.

This school has made me achieve 90's across the board when i wasn't great in high school, i struggled a lot with grades and keeping them up, but because of Abdula, bobby, and Sidra i am a top student and i am achieving all of my goals and more.this school has saved me and my family i totally recommend it.

I just finished my Practicum thru Reeves College. What an amazing experience i have had in the past 10 months. The staff as well as the instructors have been great thruout my journey. Always helping and guiding me in the right direction. There were a few struggles, but I made it to the end with a huge smile on my face. My family and friends are so proud of me of how I changed my future for the best. I now have my career to look forward to, I wouldn't change anything. Again thankyou to Reeves College. If anyone if looking for a great, supporting College, I would highly recommend this one. Good luck in anyone else's journey.
