Reface Magic

We bought an older home in Spruce Grove last year and planned to do a kitchen renovation. We didn’t know who to call and a coworker recommended Reface Magic. Thankfully they not only reface but also will demo and put in a new kitchen. We had a small, narrow U-shaped kitchen without a dishwasher. They reconfigured our space and we have even more cupboard storage than before with a more open inviting space. We couldn’t be happier and are so thankful for their advice and beautiful new kitchen. We have had lots of compliments and have recommended to some of our neighbours.

I recently refaced my cabinets and had a new countertop installed. I had a great experience working with Reface Magic from start to finish. I sourced all materials (countertops, sink, tap, handles) through Reface Magic and was pleased with the final results. Thank you for the professional help that I received at every step in the process. I would especially like to thank my installers John and his assistant Shawna for their excellent work and attention to detail. John was especially helpful at the clean up stage and went above and beyond to help me. Thanks also to Jonathan who went out of the way to help me with a small issue of my own making and to Chase who came for a small repair that was required due to the countertop installation. I was pleased that Reface Magic quickly responded to that small concern.

We used Reface Magic to take care of updating a 25+ year old kitchen and bathroom. This included cabinet refacing, new quartz countertops with full height backsplash and plumbing/installation of new sinks. From the initial inquiry to the completion of the project, everyone involved has been a pleasure to deal with! Everyone was professional, friendly, helpful and accommodating. Every step along the way was well planned and coordinated. The project was completed on-time with results that exceeded expectations. Quality people. Quality work. Highly recommended!

Staff was knowledgeable, responsive and friendly and worked very quickly to address all of my concerns.

I love the style and the color was as expected and quality is good and they are fixing a few minor "bumps and bruises".

The installation team was PHENOMENONALand they were the cleanest tradesmen I have ever encountered. They even vacuumed the front of my washer, dryer and stove!

Our experience with Reface Magic was excellent. Everyone we dealt with was very helpful and friendly. They met all the timelines they gave us, the installers were great, and we love the final product.

My kitchen renovation with Reface Magic included refacing existing cabinets, adding new cabinets & crown moulding and changing cabinets over to pots-and-pans drawers, all with soft-close hinges. The cabinet hardware, kitchen sink, faucet and some cabinet inserts were also purchased through Reface Magic. The gorgeous new quartz countertops (backsplash separate) were purchased and installed by Cascade Countertops, a company that works with Reface Magic. Not only did I appreciate the almost “one-stop shopping” experience, everyone at Reface Magic was great to work with and I love the end product! My new kitchen is beautiful, has way more storage and functions more efficiently.

Todd was my original sales representative who went through my kitchen with me item-by-item and gave me a prompt quote. Over the ordering & installation period, I had multiple interactions with Coby and Chantal and they were very patient with and responsive to my endless questions and requests; I really appreciated that. There was a spice rack insert that was on back order and Chantal was so good about checking up on it and keeping me updated. Ken and Joel were very detailed taking the measurements and also made me aware of some important information that helped me out a great deal (Home Depot was installing an over-the-range microwave & hadn’t advised me that I would need to have an electrician move the electrical plug before they could install the OTR microwave. Ken also advised me that my irregular, thick backsplash tile would have to be removed before Cascade Countertops could take accurate measurements). The installers/repair technicians were all excellent (I really liked how they explain everything) but I have to give a special shoutout to Kevin who did the major install. He was exacting in his workmanship, timely, cleaned up after each day, good communication - just went above & beyond.

I had two cubbies in the dining room that had doors ordered in a different colour. The doors originally delivered were the same colour as the kitchen and had to be re-ordered. It all worked out for the best though as I got to a) confirm that my different colour choice was the right one! And b) they slightly altered the dimensions so the doors fit even better.

My only note is regarding Cascade Countertops, the company Reface Magic works with. Their personnel were very professional and the installation was good. However, the countertop I ordered was supposed to “reveal” the sink but was cut so that it instead “overhangs” the sink.l ended up liking the look so kept it as is without complaint or follow-up but it might have been a major inconvenience or problem otherwise.

Overall, I would characterize Reface Magic as helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable. In a nutshell, they’re good at what they do!

Our bathroom guy did an amazing job. He started at 09: 30 and finished at 19: 30. Very long day for him. We are very satisfied with the product and the quality of workmanship.

Installation dates were met for both countertops and refacing. Chris and Carter for countertops and Kevin and Chris for refacing were professional, did quality work and cleaned up after.
We were pleased with one stop shopping and that sinks etc.were stored and brought out by the installers.

Love my new kitchen cupboard doors and drawers! Very happy with the whole team experience at Reface Magic (from the ladies in the showroom right through to the installers). Two years ago, Reface Magic redid our kitchen cupboards and to this day, the kitchen looks amazing! We've had so many compliments. From start to finish, the process was professionally done. We've now contracted Reface Magic to redo our bathrooms.
