Regal Cat Cafe

The staff is very friendly but they don’t pay attention too much. I understand they have other things to do (make food, take orders etc). It’s also very expensive. Other than that the Cats are adorable and food is great. Would recommend.

Had a peppermint hot chocolate and it was fantastic. The staff was lovely and nice.
This was my first time in a cat café and I enjoyed the experience. Those furr babies are adorable
For the prices, they were quite affordable. My hot chocolate was less than $5. However, you'll have to pay $10 if you want to spend 30 mins with the kitties.

Really in love with the place, to spend time there is therapy.

Me and my kids went to cat Cafe on December 22 2023 on spot we fall in love with cat name Barnard when kids go to cat room Barnard came to them so we decided to Adopt him so we apply right away got call from foundation on December 26 now we are getting it on Jan. 10 we are very excited about the cat Thanks so much Regal cat Cafe for getting us Barnard the Cat

There was a long line up and wait for the required forms to be signed prior to entry which set us back 10 minutes. Despite our group of four paying for 30 minutes, we were only allowed a 20 minute visit.

I understand it may have been a busy night, however, Regal Cat Cafe should have made up for this issue considering it was beyond our control by either allowing us our full paid time, complimentary beverages as compensation, or other resolutions deemed appropriate.

This is an amazing place! A win win, cats get pets and people get to give cats pets! The cats are also up for adoption!
I bought some handmade items to support their cause! I can't wait to come back with friends!

Great little place to go hangout with cats. We did the cat yoga and it was fantastic! Also like that it's run by the non profit Meow Foundation and all the cats look well cared for and are adoptable.

Great coffee shop and fantastic staff! Awesome attitudes from everyone upon arrival, and a great environment for all the kitties inside!

They let people stress the cats for 10$. They treat poor cats like it is a zoo and don't let them rest. Place is too loud and crowded, they allow babies and children that abuse cats. They're abusive for animals just like zoo industry is.

Do not bring children here. They don’t even pretend to have customer service. Children are definitely not welcomed, definitely a robbery of your money and time.

As a cat lover and Cafe lover, I was really eager to come here. With that being said, I was disappointed by my overall experience.
I have been to many cafes in Calgary, this one obviously being one of a kind and definitely reflects that in terms of cost per value. With respect to cost of taking care of several cats I’m sure it’s not cheap, but again cost per value.

In terms of drinks my partner and I had were mediocre, the size small was pretty small compared to other cafes. We had two sugar cookies with that totalling up to around $19.

We were planning to pay $20 ($10 per person for 30 mins) to go behind the window and play with the cats. When we got there, we ultimately changed our mind as we felt it’s not worth the money. They are cute without a doubt. Some more affection than others. But cats can be cats! In the sense they do what they want. Sometimes they’re not having it. There were several other people in the room, all wanting to get their money’s worth. Cant blame them, wouldn’t want to pay $10 if most cats were not in the mood to play or didn’t approach you. However, It’s not fair to the cats. People chasing after cats that just wanted to chill out, or play a bit with one person but not be overly stimulated and teased by several more people at the same time. Its important to note while saying this that there is a separate area for them to go.

One positive thing to say is you can adopt these cats. I hope every one of these cats gets a loving home.

It was a delightful experience to have the opportunity to spend time with a variety of charming felines. Furthermore, the establishment offered an outstanding selection of cuisine and beverages. The ideal complement to such companionship is the combination of freshly brewed coffee and delectable pastries.

Lovely kittens and staff. Also had a delicious decaf latté and we warned to watch out as one of the cats was notorious for knocking coffees over. If you are Covid-19 cautious, you can pay extra to book the entire room. This is what we did for my birthday, so my family felt good to unmask while in the room.

This IS my second and the LAST visit I will make at Regal Cat Café Calgary. Extremely crowded and disorganized. There are noisy kids and one guest who brought a baby in the Kitty Kingdom. I came to see the cats, not a bunch of people who just want to occupy, take stupid photos with huge camera with clicking sounds that startled one of the cats. This is unacceptable and I feel bad for the cats because they are treated like a spectacle and exposed to noise by rough-handling kids and boisterous people! I am aware Meow Foundation bought this café but I don't see any care placed on the cats but just major CASH GRAB. Please do not allow children and babies here and don't put 6 to 10 people in the Kitty Kingdom. So stressful for people like me (autistic) who only wanted to see cats and not noisy people and breeders! Not recommending it. Boycott!
Also, this is supposed to be a cat café, for people who only want to see cats, not people who want to see other people's crotchgoblins rough handling and screaming that scares cats. Another boycott!

Visited the Regal Cat Cafe with the kids for a cat hangout session. The children had a blast, but in terms of value for money, it didn't quite hit the mark. Finding parking took longer than expected, which made me run behind schedule. All in all, I'd say it's was an ok experience

This place is amazing. We did not eat here but the service, staff and atmosphere are awesome. They had just brought in new cats this morning so some of them were very timid and hiding, but we had a good time with the 4 that were out running around, playing or just looking for love. We love this concept and our 3 granddaughters ages 8 and 10 loved visiting the cats. We will definitely come back for another visit!
