I have hired Reggin for hundreds of jobs through my work and they have never disappointed. I find all of their staff from dispatch to plumbers to their water shutdown department, professional, friendly and most of all knowledgeable. Particularly the plumbers Christian, Kyle and Jose who have gone above and beyond for us when we are in need. Thanks guys.

Highly recommend this company to anybody looking.

Excellent service. Keith was professional, helped me understand what was going on with my hot water tank, and kept cost in mind when making suggestions. I could tell how busy the technicians have been through the cold snap, and I really appreciated his commitment and great customer service.

Dave was great to deal with, very prompt to respond on an incredibly frigged day where I know I was not the person dealing with a broken heater. His tech Stuart came by within the same day and was a pleasure to deal with. He explained and showed me the issue, without making me feel like an idiot! All in all from start to finish the company was prompt, kind and respectful. Not a lot of buildings in YYC that use radiator heat so it's always a bit tricky to find anyone that knows how to fix these things and Reggin has the team!

The team supervised with Ian came for an hour job and ended up finishing it after a day. They kept making excuses that they were working on making something for us, but all they did was sit in the lobby or in their truck and talk. Interestingly, as soon as I talked with the building manager, all the equipment got ready, the right technician was found and they could finish in less than 20 minutes. I did not like their attitude and would not recommend them to anyone.

From the moment the Reggin crew entered my unit the problems started. I was left in the dark all day not being given the right infos, and left without water for the whole day and night. I got to watch Yam sit on my kitchen floor, pretending to busy while texting who knows who, he left my apartment countless time for no apparent reason, told me he was able to fix the problem when in fact he came back to my place after 4: 30pm saying he couldn't fix it because the store was closed. Him and his supervisor Ian and the rest of the crew were not trustworthy, unreliable, not accommodating, dishonest, cocky and they took offense every time we had a question or a comment. I would definitely not recommend Reggin!

Keith came to fix a leak through the walls in our apartment. He was responsive and came on time. Keith was friendly and super diligent in his work. He was quick to identify the source of the leak and fix it.

Overall great service. Thank you Keith and Reggin Technical Services.

I dealt with the most professionalism tech I've ever met. He was calm and collected, knowledgeable. He made sure everything was taken care of before he left. But it was his high spirit and attitude that I will always call Reggin again for all of and any AC & PLUMBING Service. Outstanding. I would give him the quote. "LET excellence be your brand. " And he outdone himself. Simply outclassed by the ac tech before him that came. If you are looking for a tech that is lovely to deal with ask for Matt Hoefling. He has Jazz Hands for sure. He's definitely what you call I know a guy. Highly highly recommended

I had the good fortune today to be served by Reggin and Adam (who made service call to improve access and exercise a very stiff water shut off valve for me and another resident).

Adam has an outstanding service ethic, very skilled, very resourceful and quick at it (he did both units in the short period of time available to him). Full marks,

I would like to discuss this invoice from Reggin Mechanical as there is no itemization of the parts used for the repair of the zone value at 10120 Brookpark Blvd Unit 116, just a charge of $309.06. I'd like to investigate this charge.

I decided to go directly to Reggin's head office in Calgary to ask for the parts breakdown, they would not divulge that information to me and became abusive and belligerent when I asked for the information.

I was speaking with Zach Baker, their Plumbing and Electrical Manager. I have reported this directly to their General Manager as well as I have contacted the Better Business Bureau.

This type of threatening and abusive behaviour was completely unprofessional given my request being a very standard information request for a business to provide to their customer. I'm requesting a parts breakdown from the invoice given to me. The invoice is attached above.

It is tough times out here but this is an absolute joke. Let's see the charge breakdown for a <30 minute visit to my 800 sqft condo for a routine fan coil maintenance:

Parking - $10
Fuel Surcharge - $5
Truck Charge for 1 Technician - $35
Production Supplies - $25
Primary HVAC Technician at $102h for 2.5h - $255

Total for this <30 minute visit is $330 before tax.

Notes from technician:

"Arrived on site, investigated issue. Performed a fan coil cleaning. Determined the filter was very dirty. I vacuumed out the filter to the best of my abilities and informed the tenant of the
filter condition. Recommend a filter replacement.
I turned the power back on to the fan coil before replacing the grill cover. Tested to ensure proper operation of the system.
Cleaned up work area, completed paperwork, departed site. "

Very good experience. Our water heater failed at 7: 00am, two days before Christmas. Reggin provided a very competitive quote and had their installation crew at our house before noon. The installer was everything you could want: on-time, courteous, efficient and cleaned up thoroughly. I highly recommend Reggin.

They have an employee named GAVIN who works connecting AC units, amongst other things i’m assuming. But he’s absolutely the worst customer service rep I have EVER EVER had to deal with. Lied about time estimation on the project in my apartment and then got mad and didn’t finish the project when I was upset about the hour prediction being extended an hour. 1.5 hours later… with no heads up of a delay or anything of the sort. Also he smelled absolutely terrible leaving a stench in my apartment.

Holdyn, the Reggin service technician came over yesterday and spent 4 1/2 hrs going between my apartment and the 2 boilers in my 75 unit building. He did a fantastic job and was understanding of my severe OCD disability to make sure my place wasn't a mess. I finally had heat last night after 9 days without it. Holdyn did a gr8 job. Thx:)

Slow drip was coming from the ceiling in my condo. 3 trips from Reggin, $1000 to tell me that my dryer booster fan is not functioning.

Billed me 3.5 hours for a guy to come and take a gander. Next day 2 hours, the technician ran appliances in the unit above mine to try and troubleshoot. Did not check the dryer exhaust vent. Finally the third guy, determined the faulty booster fan. This was the only work order that I had received from Reggin. The other 2 trips? Still awaiting.
They wanted another $1000 for the replacement of the booster fan. Part was $140 from the manufacturer.

What is the point of calling the professionals, if it took 3 of them to figure this out?

Edit: Reggin was able to compensate me for 2 billed hours, bringing the total billed for this leak to 5.5 hrs. I settled for this, but I expected better value from these guys.

3 technicians sent out, with every trip billing a 2 hours minimum plus truck fee. I understand that Reggin does a lot of work at the building in which I own a unit so I also feel like they should have a better understanding of the mechanical and HVAC systems in the building and should have been able to identify the dryer issue quicker.

This company was called to fix a radiant heater in our 600sq ft condo as the heat would not shut off. They came in Feb 2021 diagnosed it and replaced a part $500. Two months later they had to come back as it wasn't fixed properly. Fall 2021 another issue heat not working at all another $1500 apparently due to a short in the wall somewhere. This was misdiagnosed from the get go. Manager's response we did it right.rest assured I will never use or recommend these thieves. Terrible service & incompetent

We had a similar experience as Helene in mid-June 2021.

The Reggin work is not on time, poor value and not professional.

Our condo unit experienced a heat pump issue. We called Reggin Technical Services for a repair because we paid them $105 in 2019 for a maintenance of the heat pump. They now said their maintenance does not cover warranty. So a deposit is mandatory.

At this first call, they asked for $150 deposit before the inspection on June 24,2021. So we gave them the credit card and they took the money right away.

Upon the inspection, they asked for another $500 deposit for the valve replacement including parts and labour. They indicated that they had to order the part which would come in a couple of days. So we gave the OK to proceed.

A week later, there was no updates. We called and they said the part was ordered but not available for another week. And they asked for $1,500 deposit and indicated that they would refund the portion that is not used if the job does not take a long time. We gave the OK to proceed. So they took the money on July 6,2021.

However, we checked the credit card and learned they charged $1831.35. We were shocked. We called to ask for explanation why the job is bumped up to $ 1,981.35 ($150 + $1831.35). This is a 400% higher from the $500 initial replacement amount.

*** The time taken is now increased from a few days to 3 weeks.

We asked to talk to the owner but we were not given the owner contact.

*** At the end they replaced the valve and the total price went from $500 to $1,397.55, i.e, Initial deposit $150 + replacement deposit 1831.35 - Refund $583.80.

If we knew it would take 3 weeks and $1,397.55 to replace the valve, we would have shopped around and wouldn't commit to Reggin. We hope you wouldn't go to Reggin as your first choice.

If Reggin would like to respond to this feedback, please return the $897.55 to us first. Otherwise your response is not needed.

The job should be within $500 as agreed before the part was ordered on June 24,2021. The price kept changing is not acceptable.

*** We asked for a warranty written on the invoice but there is no mention of the warranty. This is not professional if the work has no guarantee.

Here is a sharing of my experience. In conclusion, shop around before going to Reggin. Best of luck.

Add on: I used these guys to check a heating issue in a rental property. The two stars in this review are for the technician. No issues with them. The work was done correctly and is still functioning.

My issue is that there was absolutely no communication after the job. I called the office a couple weeks after the work was done to see if there would be an additional charge over and above the initial deposit made when I booked the job. They could not tell me. Could not even tell me what work was done. Two months later I got a bill. Two months after the fact. It took them two months to figure out what work was done and send out a bill and of course they needed payment right away.

To sum up; the tech are good, but the admin is ridiculous. You might as well go ahead and assume that you will be billed two moths after the fact.

Sloppy. They came in to try to fix a leak on Nov. 6 and it wasn't fixed until the 19th. Walls were opened, upstairs neighbors were called, all to find a leak from the dishwasher. When I asked the guy why on earth they'd open walls before checking the appliances, he got pretty snippy and defensive. He gave me a person to call that did not exist. I then left a message that was never returned. I don't know what type of work that these guys usually do, but it sure seemed like they couldn't care less about actually getting this repair done or providing any feedback about the work that they did.

The dispatch staff here seem to have mental disabilities (which is fine but perhaps a different job and/or additional training are required). They are totally unable to understand customer requests and adopt a condescending tone when you push them to actually do their job.
Management also seems to have a difficult time with communications.
Steer clear unless you want to throw money out the window.

Wyatt is absolutely amazing and his explanations are concise and easy to understand, even for lay persons! I recommend Reggin Technical Services without hesitation

Paul came to fix my shower and did a great job. I have the pleasure of dealing with Paul in my work, but this was the first time dealing with him in my own house.
He was punctual and very professional during the long service call it turned out to be. Thanks Paul, it's nice to be able to have a normal shower these days.
