Nice, friendly, honest. A man of his word on price. Only place I will ever deal with in Lacombe. What's that other Auto Wrecker in Lacombe called? Damn, can't remember, they probably aren't worth remembering!
Purchased a "low km" used transmission for a customer of ours which we installed. Followed all applicable warranty procedures prior to install - flushed and cleaned lines/transmission oil cooler, installed new seals and filter (s) as needed and filled with new OEM fluid. All proper procedures were performed prior to release to the customer, who had about 2.5 months of easy around town useage, only to have the transmission lose reverse completely. Refused warranty because they claim my customer - who has only been in normal city traffic the entire time - abused the transmission and caused the damage. Further, because it was installed on a "commercial" vehicle that there would be no warranty on the part. The van in question is used by an electrician and is not "commercially" registered, yes it is a work van, but most cargo vans are. Less than 4,000kms of in city use on the transmission and Reg's won't supply a replacement - WILL NOT STAND BEHIND WHAT THEY SELL! AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS.
Good access to parts. Ron is very helpful but the other guy Mitch doesn’t do any favours for that business. He should read a book about customer service. If you don’t like your job get another one Mitch. Your chasing customers away because of how you greet them and converse. POW pows is lined up with young people buying parts and tires for their cars. Young people don’t even consider Regs due to your unfriendliness! Don’t forget kids know quick these days. Older generations takes time and you’ve been around long enough to wonder where all the customers are. Everyone but you know that you’ve chased them away!
Terrific place for older car parts! Thank you for helping me out recently and for the excellent service. The older struts I purchased creates an opportunity to enjoy my 89 Pontiac even longer! Thanks again! I'll be back again in the future.
I live in Washington State, USA. Ron went out of his way to ensure I had the right part for my car, packaged it for shipping to me, and received my shipping documents by email. He made sure all the paperwork was correctly asfixed to the package so customs wouldn't be a problem. The part, (a driveshaft), arrived in the States on schedule, no hitches. These guys saved me about $400 bucks and I never left my home to do it. It was just what I'd hoped for. I'll stash their contact information in my memory, (won't be hard as my brother's name is Reg), for future use. I highly recommend these guys if you need 'special handling'. Thanks Ron!
We have a repair shop in Calgary and recently ordered a part Apon receiving it realized I also needed something else which is unfortunately sold separate and this was a Friday on the long weekend and no agreement made so I went ahead and got the part on my own only to have Ron return my call today to let me know he got this part for me unfortunately I already got it but for my experience most times these calls get forgotten about in our trade but Ron went above and beyond so just wanted to say thank you and share our experience we will for sure be doing more business in the future and the part was delivered correctly and on time as promised.
I order mcflurry all the time but unfortunately lately I only get half. Now if I'm spending 5 dollars on an ice cream I EXCPECT a FULL cup. Wow it happens way more then ever now. I understand they are training but come on guys get them to understand a dollar
Phoned about a door mirror with many options, was guaranteed it was the one I needed. Drove 2 hours to get the part and to find out the one that they had was not the right one. All the guy at the counter would say was “well that sucks”. I simple apology for there mess up would’ve went a long way. P*ss poor customer service.
