I'm happy I chose Reliance for my furnace, tankless water heater and A/C. Jatinder took his time to explain in detail what works best for me and my household. The installation was done as planned and the work was neat and tidy. Thanks Jatinder for making the whole process a breeze.

I purchased, and had a new A/C unit installed by Reliance in May 2023. At the same time I had also bought an 85$ cover. When winter rolled around I went to put the cover on and found that it was the wrong size. I have now contacted Reliance 3 seperate times and still have not been able to resolve this issue. They keep taking my information and say someone will contact me and that has not happened. The sales rep I dealt with has also left the company so I could not ask for his help.

Update to previous review - A nightmare experience: it's been 3 months and I am still waiting for the heat pump to be properly installed.

August: after a slick sales process where we discussed the process for obtaining the government rebate, I paid in full for a heat pump and install. Heat pump was installed, and I was waiting to hear from the assessment company to start the rebate process (as per instructions from Reliance).

September: no updates from Reliance or assessment company on status of rebate process. Heat pump working great (heating and cooling)

October: I followed up with Reliance and was advised that the heat pump had to be uninstalled due to their paperwork gaff - apparently Reliance failed to submit the proper paperwork resulting in the assessment not being requested. The heat pump had to be uninstalled, assessment conducted, and then reinstalled. (No issues with the heat pump, still working great.)

November: Reliance finally schedules the uninstall and advises me that the assessment company will come in the day (or 2) afterwards. Nov 8th, Heat Pump removed and placed in my garage. However during the uninstallation, the technicians blow a fuse is my natural gas furnace, leaving me with no heat for over 24 hours. I had to place a call myself to get another technician in to fix the previous technician's error (Nov 9). So now I have heat, but still no word on the assessment.

It's now Nov 13, still no word on the assessment, and the heat pump (which I have paid for) is sitting in my garage.

I'll share more updates as the process continues.

Got a problem with brown stuff inside the tank for water softener.
Technician Paul came checked the system, removed brown stuff inside the tank. Confirmed operation of the WS.
Also changed the filters of the water for drinking, showed how it is done.
Professional, punctual and very efficient in the work.

Amarjit was our Reliance service technician. He was good at inspecting our furnace motor running amps, air filter and operating temp. He cleaned the flame sensor and dusted off all wires. Easy to talk to and provide answers to my questions. I would gladly have him back when needed.

Service tech did okay, shorted out the first blower motor but found a replacement the next day and furnace was fixed. Paid over phone via Mastercard. They were supposed to email invoice that day, after two days did not receive it. Contacted tech, she was going to let her billing department know. Waited a week, still no invoice. Called their service department, it took a 30 min phone call for them to find my invoice and email it to me. What a complete waste of time, customers should have to spend anytime chasing down their invoice.

I had some issues with my toilet seat water supply connection and I had taken plumbing service from Reliance and Rajesh came for resolving this issue. He was very professional and explained the issue thoroughly. During the service there were some water droplets on floor and he made sure that the floor is dry after he finished the service. I even asked him some questions related to the plumbing pipes at my home and he explained all the things in detail courteously. Thanks a lot for providing a genuine service and explaining all my questions in detail.

Jigar Vaidya helped us to complete the HRV, AC and HEPA air purifier within few days. As I enquired many others it will be 2-3 months process. Contact Reliance and Jigar Vaidya if you want the work done done immediately. The rates are competitive as well!

We went with getting our AC, furnace, hot water tank, and water softener with them. In the beginning they were great but it quickly turned into a mess. We were told we’d receive a rebate cheque in the mail within 3 months (it’s now been 6 and nothing). A piece of our AC was damaged during install and they said they’d send a tech and never did. When I reached out it took them 2 weeks to send someone who didn’t have the part. The next guy came out and replaced the AC flat out and said “I know the tech who installed the AC and I’m not sure I trust his work” (UMM WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF THE STUFF HE INSTALLED). We started using the new AC, but it was not cooling our house. We had another 3 techs come out! “You turn the temp down too low (20- pretty standard) ” “Your AC is very dusty and dirty it needs to be sprayed down” (we’d had it a month or less”. “Feels cool to me-idk”. One tech even instructed us to turn thr ac off before he came cause that is the only way he could diagnose it. I was pretty mad with it getting hot and being pregnant. He then comes and says “why did you turn it off? I can’t do anything until you cool it down. ” WOW. Not to mention, every single tech was late, or did not show the day of the appointment. Finally, one tech came out and said the refrigerant level was low. It took four techs (at least) to diagnose it. We also still don’t get cool air in our upper level. Jatinder never seems to be able to get back to us- he says “these things take time and let me handle it, there’s no need to contact anyone else. ” Obviously that’s not working out. My bills have never been consistent and no one can ever explain it. I was told I would be receiving three months free for the hassle with the AC and that it would appear on my next bill. Guess what? They have charged me the full amount again, and I still have not received the rebate cheque that was promised. No one can reach out to me or has help me whatsoever to get this resolved. After speaking to the billing department, I was very frustrated with their scripted responses and their inability to pass it over to a higher up when asked. I highly recommend looking at other places, and if I had a choice, I would leave reliance in a heartbeat.

The technician came in he was very professional. He was very punctual, very courteous, very polite, very professional and friendly. He came up and told me I needed a new filter he didn’t have one in his truck
He called around and found a filter he came up to tell he had to go and pick it up. He came back within 45 minutes. Installed it.

Had hot water tank replaced, great same day service.quick, professional install. Installers, Jay and Paul? , very friendly, courteous and provided service and suggestions above just installing the tank.

Daniel came by after installation to check how everything looks and how I felt about the experience. Also, worked me through great maintenance packages.

Had a water softener added to my plumbing today by Paul. Again, great job. Arrived on time, respected my time and home, did a great job on plumbing the water softener in to the house. Great job of explaining how the water softener works, what to pay attention to and recommendation w.r. T.where to get crystals and what to look for.
