My entire experience with reliance was top tier! They were able to see me within hours of my furnace initially going out to diagnose the problem. Ryan was friendly, respectful and reassured me I would be taken good care of - A promise that was swiftly delivered by the whole team within 24 hrs of the diagnosis! He was also thoughtful to give me a space heater to keep me and my animals warm overnight.
Later the same day, Judah kindly and patiently informed me of all my options for replacing the furnace and lead me to the choice best suited for me. I never once felt pressured or like an inconvenience after his already long and busy day. He was so lovely to deal with. He was able to lighten a stressful situation for me and made me feel confident in my choice.
First thing the next morning, the team showed up to install my new furnace! Tim, Scott and the other fellows were friendly, respectful and got to work right away with great efficiency! What was quoted to take most of the day was finished by lunch and with nothing left behind, messy or out of place.
My new system is super user friendly but each one of the members I dealt with took the time to assure me that I could reach out at anytime if I needed assistance or had any questions.
Overall it was an absolute stellar job by everyone! 10/10 would highly recommend!

Please stop asking your staff to beg for an 8 or better on reviews. It's demeaning to your staff and insulting to your customers. I've had two gents recently come to my home and do an excellent job fixing my A/C and doing some install work. Both were great. Then after they completed their work they both said management told them they need an 8 to consider it a pass.

Stop trying to fudge your online numbers by demeaning your staff. I would never treat my employees that way and I wouldn't blame them for looking for another job with a better company. Employees are the life blood of any good company and should be treated with respect.

I can say that since we started dealing with reliance for both our furnace and air conditioner we have had nothing but issues with the call center, they are not helpful and will not provide a contact number for a manager. You can't tell me that the company operates without managers, so this is an avoidance tactic for sure. Every year we book service for both the furnace and air conditioner and every year we have issues with the service technicians showing up. This causes lost wages as I have to take time off of work for them to service the units or put out another family member whom has come over to our place to let them in. Once again today, they did not show up, this being the 3rs attempt to get our A/C unit serviced, we had someone at the house waiting from 9: 30 am to 2: 00 pm and my husband had his phone with him all day waiting for a call. When he called Reliance, customer service advises that the tech called and no one answered, this is a lie, as my husband had no missed calls. What does a person have to do to speak with a manager and not the horrible customer service department? I am so sick of dealing with this company, they avoid any direct contact for a reason!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.
We've had no issues with the equipment but the customer service is terrible.
The contract for leased equipment states free yearly maintenance and filter replacement but appointments are hard to book. I had to book 3 months in advance only to have that appointment cancelled and couldn't get another appointment for 2 months. The call center in Toronto is unable to help with any issues and all calls are automatically transferred to them so you can't speak to anyone in your region. The day of my appointment, two different technicians called to say they were on their way. I requested to speak to a supervisor on three different occasions to discuss my displeasure with the booking process and have never received a follow up call.

Workers were pleasant and professional. They explained the steps to the replacement of my water heater. Job was completed, water lines were bled of entrained air and work space was left clean. I was pleased with the job.

I am very disappointed with the lack of response and follow up between my salesman and installation manager. I was left a contact to coordinate outstanding work and deficiencies however to this day he has not responded to any messages. I would not recommend this company for new equipment sales and installation. I can only hope that the service is better if i now have any issues in the future.

Ive been with Reliance for about 2 years now, and I’m still surprised at the high level of service they provide. We had Brett Waselenchuk come by for a scheduled consultation. While I must admit, the experience over the phone was a bit frustrating, with not being able to actually talk to anyone the first two times I called, my issue was eventually resolved. The customer service the technician provided made up for any negative experience with Reliance, which seems to be rare. Brett was extremely patient with all the questions I had, and very knowledgable. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism, and truth be told, it was the outstanding service displayed by Mr. Waselenchuk that convinced me to continue with my plan and future plans with Reliance.

After four years of paying for the furnace my wife and I called to again to see why they aren’t bring new filters like they are supposed to, we find out that the sales person lied and had her sign a rental agreement, after explicitly saying we do not want to rent, we are financing to purchase, our fault for not double checking the agreement but hey at least now we can help someone else, they are shady, check every line, Stuck with them for three more years.

Reliance was able to get me out of a bind as I needed same day service for my AC unit as it was leaking in the basement and I was heading out of town for the week. It was a bit of a rocky start as the booking system was terrible. I called the first time, got through the booking and got disconnected before finalizing everything and they didn’t call back. I called back to confirm everything and stayed home all day during the waiting period and no one showed. I called back again and it was clear the booking was never made. Thankfully I was finally connected with Landon, the service technician. He was extremely helpful and made his way to my house immediately after receiving notice of the booking. Landon was very professional and personable, fixing my AC unit in a timely manner so that I was able to catch my flight without any worry. Although the booking system was a pain, the service itself was phenomenal. Thank you Landon for helping me out of a bind!

I recently had my AC installed, Brandon was extremely courteous and professional. He was on time, and did a great job answering my questions. I've had frustrating experiences in the past since living in Edmonton, but this time I have had no problems since the install! Best company I've dealt with since being here in AB. Highly recommend!

The sales person, Naz Zahoui, was very knowledgeable, professional and patient when explaining all the options I had and recommending what was better for me as a customer. The A/C installer was very professional, on time, and completed the job in less time that I was expecting.

I tried to reach Reliance by phone. After 30 minutes of waiting the call hung up. I booked an appointment online and received a confirmation email detailing the appointment date and time. 20 Minutes after the beginning of my appointment no one had arrived yet. I called to ask if someone was coming. They told me I had no appointment and that the next available appointment was three weeks. They asked if I would like to book it. I can't trust a company that can't even properly book and attend a sales appointment. I was hoping to purchase a new variable-speed system with a furnace, AC and dehumidifier for my home that would have cost a lot of money but I can't see my self doing so with a company that can't support customers on the sales side. What will the service/support side be like after they have my money? This was a bad experience.

Made an appointment for In-home consultation on a furnace and AC installation, they couldn’t give an appointment for almost a month, so that was fine…appointment day rolled around and they never bothered to show up, or let us know why. Will not bother to call them for anything again, and I’ll be sure and let everyone I talk to know that as well. Poor business ethic clearly.

Excellent call centre service. They were able to schedule me the same day in the late afternoon for AC repair. Such wonderful help. Landon the technician was absolutely wonderful and super professional. He was the reason this company has such a great reputation. I would highly recommend Reliance to anyone who needs or has any AC or heating needs or concerns.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Rented an air conditioner on a 7 year contract. All was good during the original order and only minor issues which got resolved. Was told they didn't have the cover I wanted in stock but would get it to me right away. Called for 4 winters straight and was always told I would get it. I finally gave up. After the contract was over I have had to call numerous times to get the contract cancelled. I have been given a run around, been told I am lying that the equipment was picked up by Reliance. Waited for 33 days to have equipment picked up and was told billing would continue until it was. Had to fight to get billing stopped. I really could write a book about the hell I was put through. Do not rent or buy from this company. As soon as the sale is done, so is their customer service.

The service, communication and workmanship was superb with Reliance in Edmonton. From the initial phone calls, consultation and quote from Judas, who was polite and professional, all the way to the installation process by Adam and his partner, who were efficient, professional, polite, thorough and informative.and did not leave until we understood everything. Very impressed with this company's, service and customer focused attitude. Would use their services again and recommend to anyone.

I was very pleased with the professionalism, information and knowledge provided by the Sales Advisor, Naz, to help make my decision on the different air conditioners and what would work best in our home.
Adam W.and Ed, technicians, performed the install and were very courteous and informative on the install and made sure i understood the process. At the end of the install, Adam ensured I understood how to work the the A/C and the Nest. We are very pleased that we went with Reliance, very professional and exceptional customer service.

I booked an appointment with this company for an in home assessment. The guy phoned me up, did not come, and told me their supply is very low but that the top of the line carriere was available for 6500$. I was initially understanding something different was available. This company is obviously overpriced and off my list of companies to deal with.

Our initial quote and all went well. Then they called the day before installation to say they had to change the date, only by a day so that wasn't too bad, except we were in a heat wave. Then I waited and waited for the invoice, tried to get in touch with the "Comfort Specialist" who wouldn't return my texts, called the number I was provided for the main company and was told they only deal with customers who are doing monthly plans not anyone who wants to hand them a bunch of money right away, apparently. Get in touch with your "Comfort Specialist" I was told, and when I said that was the problem, I basically got a shoulder shrug. Finally the "Comfort Specialist" called us and we gave him the information for payment. I asked for a receipt right away: "Sure, it'll be emailed to you tomorrow", so here we are two weeks later.and again can't seem to get anyone to help. I am so very, very unimpressed with the lack of professionalism this company and it's employees are showing.
The upside, we have AC and the guys that put it in were awesome.

Brett W was my serviceman on my second call to the company and what a wonderful, sincere, knowledgeable and professional man he was to deal with. It is a great day when u find that ‘right person’ in a sea of ‘others’! I will ask for him personally for a/c needs in the summer and furnace heat in the winter. This company should be very grateful to have such a valuable employee. Thanks Brett, nice to meet you and thank you for everything!

Tim and Brandy did an amazing job on installation of our AC and they are such nice people to chat with! Troy was the quote person and he was amazing! Everyone there is super nice! Would highly recommended!
