Their food and drinks are nice! However, their service and atmosphere is very bad. Take a look at these disgusting couches! I would definitely choose a Starbucks over Remedy

Their chai and samosa has tasted the same for over 15 years so I just keep ordering them this specific location is a great space on whyte to work or relax

Had chai latte and Kashmiri chai which is my absolute favourite drink. Make sure you register you plate when parking. Just have to sign in no charges for that. Staff was friendly.

I would say that this location is sub-par compared to the Jasper Avenue location. The baristas here look miserable and give you dirty looks when you order food. Not too sure if they expect a tip with that attitude.

I remember one time there was a customer who had an accent and the barista started mocking her after she got her food.

Apart from the abhorrent attitude of the baristas the food and drinks are pretty good for what they are. Overpriced chai drinks in a good area on Whyte.

If anyone likes Remedy Café I suggest going to the ones on Jasper Avenue and 124 Street if you want good quality service.

Remedy has always been somewhere I order from when I want something comforting. They never disappoint! Every order I’ve received from them has been perfect: customizations always followed, food & drinks always at great temperatures, no spills, and they sometimes even write cute notes or doodles! Food and drinks are both so amazing and I will forever speak the praises of remedy. The vegan options are also so tasty!

Best chai in the city. Furniture is starting to get a bit on the scuzzy side. Staff are really sweet.

I use to go to remedy all the time but I won’t go back to any location anymore. The upholstery on the chairs and couches is so disgustingly dirty and stained, I can’t fathom how anyone sits on them. So filthy. The wraps are okay, but half the time they just serve it in tinfoil even when I ask for it to stay. My latte was curdled and when I asked for a new one I was met with attitude. I could forgive the rest of it if it wasn’t SO dirty.

Remedy Cafe on Raymond Block is a great place to grab a snack or drink. On top of that they have amazing customer service. I received stellar customer service from Selyna and Shyla they provided friendly, professional and quick service. They really are an exemplar of how great customer service can be. Keep up the amazing work Selyna and Shyla and Remedy Cafe!

I usually love this cafe but this morning I had poor service from the workers, a hair stuck in my plate and a really gross bagel

It's been a long time since I had a coffee in a real cup. They also have semi-private booths for group meetings.

Heard a lot about Remedy and wanted to give it a try, i was there later in the day due to which didn't face any issues with parking but due to the Café being at a busy block, please beware about extra time being spent on that.

Moving on to the most important aspect, Food, i had Masala chai (3% Milk), Kashmiri Chai (3% Milk) and Samosas, i hold high standards for chai, i personally would have preferred the chai to be stronger as that's the way i like it, you can taste and smell all the spices this chai was induced in which is great, another good thing about this chai was that it's creamy and frothy, considering this all, i will rate the masala chai 3.5/5, kashmiri chai had lots of pistachios which might be bothersome to certain people but i don't mind that due to which i will rate it 4/5, Samosas here are a great snack not greasy like a lot of ther places, they were crunchy and the filling was quite generous, though the size of the samosa was small they still hold a higher rank in my books, i will rate it 4/5.

The ambience of this place is great, it's a quiet place and the staff is friendly.
Definitely will visit this café next time I'm around.

I ordered three kashmiri chai latte. They didn’t mix properly. They should need to make better.

Again a yuppie crowd. The coffee is most expensive there.
The Block is a dollar less the Remedy Cafe.
The Block is ironically, a block away from the Remedy Cafe. While three blocks further is Tim Hortons.
Tim Hortons is the cheapest, but negative atmosphere.

We ordered the channa masala wrap and the chicken wrap. The portions are big but it’s very dry. I wasn’t a fan of the food but the chai & samosa was nice

I live close to this cafe, and I was the first time today. Soo, the first thing which I do not like is overpriced. But I like atmosphere and location of this cafe. Next thing is very dirty, they have a system that people must bring their staff to a special box after they have finished their meal. But some guys do not understand that and leave their staff at the table. In my opinion, when people do this thing, it is disrespectful to the staff. But staff should control that and clean if some dudes can’t read their papers. The last one is toilets, omg it was so confusing they have a lot of papers on them, and u need a password to get into washroom. But I like this place. I don’t want to be picky with staff because I know they work a lot and hard. Good luck, guys.

Great ambience, i love their seating area. Great spot for a quick Chai. I love their Ginger Chai.

Not my favorite remedy but the food is as you would expect from the other locations. Lots of seating but fair share of seedy people hanging around the foyer due to the nature of the area. A bit a jaunt but the garneu location isn't far, it isn't as glamorous as the whyte ave location but the OG remedy is a must try

A great location, well laid out seating arrangements, good atmosphere and more than that great menu. Each dish was very tasty, well presented and yummy. Would highly recommend. Chai was also very tasty.

The evening staff, especially the women who have pierced their noses, are rude to the colored people who do not speak English well. Their behavior, such as laughing at the pronunciation of their guests, is really offensive.

Kashmiri chai is off the charts wonderful! If you've not tried one you, I definitely recommend you do. You'll always find a cozy spot to sit and enjoy some time there

Cafe is spatious, but super busy. I didn't think the samosas were worth it. They were quite small and lacked filling. I did enjoy the Chai. Go for the Chai.

This is a trendy cafe specializing in Indian food, which is amazing. Great chai and a wide variety of food, yummy snacks, chai, coffee.just one of my go to places when in Edmonton.

Great customer service! When they made a mistake on my order, they instantly apologized, offered a free drink and offered to serve at the table. The fastest resolution I've experienced anywhere:). Also a great place to do work as there is enough seating, and lots of outlets, which most other coffee shops lack.

I love this place, but I asked the afro lady how her day was and she told me she was really sick, then handed me my change. This was after she got my order wrong. What the f yo, if you're sick? Go the f home

Large open cafe with a delicious selection of chai, I suggest asking for reduced sugar as they are super sweet. Plenty of tables for working on laptops and nice open widows overlooking the street. This is a great area to visit. Huge selection of other goods to purchase including pre-made baklava and drinks.

The atmosphere is nice and staff are friendly but I ordered a milkshake and it was so sweet that it made me nauseous after eating just half of it

I love Remedy! It's the best place to work on your homework and get great food/drinks. This location also has so many outlets to plug in your devices so you can spend hours finishing the homework you probably procrastinated.

Love the new renovations, its spacious, modern, and perfect for meetings, they've really outdone themselves on this design! The food is a bit pricy, but the coffee is pretty big for $3 and theres a choice of many unique sweeteners like orange sugar, and strawberry sugar.

Great cafe with plenty of gluten free options. They certainly deserve to be known for their chai lattes.

Cool atmosphere but food wasn't great and neither was the service. My friend asked for a coffee which was given to her at a scalding temperature, she asked for a new one and was given a dirty look. We ended up tossing half the drinks/food we ordered.

Sooo happy there are more locations now. I love that I can get a dirty chai with no sugar. There is nowhere else I know of that I can do that. My favourite location is downtown because of the dosas, but this is still probably my favourite Edmonton establishment.

I like the modern decor. It's got a unique feel to it. I love how there are different areas for different needs and groupings of people. You can sit across from someone at a small table or in a comfy upholstered chair. You can sit at a larger table in another area with a group of people or sit by yourself at a counter studying. So, great versatility.

Cashier was condescending when I asked her a question. An immediate turn off, will avoid in the future.

This is an alright cafe of that makes sense. There is something not quite there yet though. It's nice for a morning coffee with friends but doesn't quite cut it for a warm and friendly gathering. It could be because of the staff though; they are super UN-FRIENDLY and ARROGANT.

This location is fantastic, it's amazing to see how far they've come! The prices have gone up quite a bit over the years but the quality is always consistent.

The newly opened location on Whyte. Looks very nice inside. I am not a fan of the armchairs paired with the lower tables but that's probably just a personal preference (wrong height for writing). The armchairs is only in the back section so the normal seating is near the front.
I can predict it will get very hot inside when the warmer weather hits unless they get some blinds for their many glass windows.

Love the new Whyte Ave location! Lots of seating and bathrooms, lots of food options and easily their most optimized menu boards! Will be back!

Great place and atmosphere. I like the fact that there are different areas with it own character for everyone's taste! I like the decoration, comfy couches, cozy spots and even a couple dinning areas.
Great menu, hot and cold drinks! Teas are there specialty thought.
Needs some help with the coffee station as it can get busy, and you may need to watch for your order, but once you get it you are good to stay or go!
Great easy access washrooms.

The service is a little snooty. It depends on the time of day you go.

Also, I'm not sure why during the late night they are using paper cups for to-stay orders. Is the dishwasher out of commission then? In an age where we need to reduce plastic waste, it's a little sad that you pay 5% more here than at other high end coffee shops, and they won't give you a real mug.

The vibes are dope.and so is the food! It's a trendy cafe with a variety of options for food, drink and dessert. I thoroughly enjoyed it!

Girl at the cashier working may 16 at 11pm and also tuesday may 14, with glasses and short height, hair is light brown and short, VERY VERY RUDE.i will not be coming again.on two occasions she has been all rude and stuck up, i asked her what chai she recommends and she replies “i am not choosing for you” like i didn’t even ask for her to choose just recommend me one.i have never had this bad service from any remedy staff in the past, she wasn’t the first and i will never be back.i came today may 16 in 11pm and she has also been very rude and didn’t even greet me when i wasn’t waiting in the line she just stood and stared at me chewing gum all abnoxiouslly. STAFF IS STUCK UP AND RUDE DO NOT RECOMMEND

This new location has all the bright colours and whimsy of the other Remedys, but it feels much more sophisticated in design. It's a beautiful space with high ceilings and huge windows and a variety of seating areas. If you love the rustic vibe of the original Remedy on 109 it may be too polished for you.: -p

Seating options: For working solo, there are lots of stools along a bar facing the windows. For two or more ppl there are a few pairs of wingback chairs by a fireplace, long family-style tables, and some semi-private rooms.

As always, Remedy Indian dishes and multiple types of Chai are delicious and generously portioned.

This just opened, I will start my review with they’re butter chicken because its a killer and a lot more on the menu will be Im pretty sure you will love. Drinks chai latte everything is on point. Now service friendly at least when I went there they were. Downside a lot of people tend to spent more or longer than they’re supposed to be, its not gonna be longer when bunch of high school students here will be playing games. ‍‍ also I wish they have somebody on the floor who is designated to look after the tables like dishes and stuff.washrooms are clean enough they have a code for the doors tho. End notes highly recommended!
