I went to this school many years ago- 2003 and 2004. I remember just feeling so safe there. Teachers were so helpful and kind. They made learning fun for the kids. Jennifer (they didn't tell us the teacher's last names) was one of my teachers, who stood out to me. She was able to talk to us all without making us feel small.
Because there are so many different children in the school, my mom found that it helped shape my personality. She told me that she believes that Renfrew helped me to be more accepting and patient with all people.
I am truly grateful for the teachers I had at that time in my life. I would recommend Renfrew to any parent looking for a good pre-K & Kindergarten class for their children.

Renfrew is a fantastic school filled with highly trained and compassionate people. My family is sending a second generation to Renfrew and we feel very fortunate to be able to do so.

My son started attending Renfrew (Thomas Buchanan centre) at 2.5 yrs old.
After four years of having access to various kinds of therapy and an environment where children are engaged in a variety of educational and fun learning opportunities, it was time for my son to move into a different school, in our community.
Over the four years our family developed wonderful relationships with the staff members at TBC.
Renfrew gives families many tools to help navigate the challenging world of having children with special needs.

My three year old twin girls attend Renfrew and absolutely LOVE it! The care, support and encouragement they receive is incredible.even during this pandemic, their amazing teacher (Ms. Kat) and support staff have continued providing them with engaging individualized and group led activities. The daily circle time with their teacher over Zoom is the highlight of their day! They also give us parents practical, easy to follow activities to work on my daughter's speech and motor delays that she loves to do. They even dropped off care packages full of small activities at our house! Renfrew is a welcoming, warm and supportive environment. Their staff are well-trained and generally love the kiddos. It truly is a special place.
