Plus if you need any tips or advice, they were able to help us and make recommendations. If you’re a first time camper- try it out! (Or a seasoned camper- like us- and missing a few items, they will have it.)

By far one of the most incredible business ideas that someone could've had. I came from Montréal to Calgary to go camping in Banff and Jasper, and I was afraid of how to bring all the camping gear by plane.

The solution? Rent-a-tent! The guys were amazing and extremely friendly, and they provide EVERYTHING you need to have an amazing experience without worrying: tent, tarp, stove, fuel, bear spray, sleeping bags, liners, sleeping mats, kitchen utensils (cups, mugs, knife, pots, frying pan), etc.

We even brought some stuff and it was completely unnecessary and we just carried extra volume for nothing, because Rent-a-tent provides all the gear you need, trust me.

Next time I'll bring only a personal bag on the airplane with a couple of clothes, and rent everything else from my brothers here.

Renting camping equipment was almost too easy with rent-a-tent. Everything was ready to go when I showed up and they even provided a heavier duty 3 season tent when they saw that it was going to be cold, rainy and snowy during my trip. All of the equipment provided was in great condition and it was nice to have literally everything you need for camping provided. Highly recommend this business and will rent from them again on my next trip to Banff

Awesome business that provides all you'll need for an Alberta camping excursion. We rented a tent for a week after realizing our own gear couldn't fit in our suitcases. We were able to book a few weeks before our trip and it saved us so much stress! The staff were extremely kind and made sure we had all the information needed for a successful week out. A huge perk was the fact that they had a "free" bin on site. We were able to get cooking oil, snacks and extra toilet paper without having to buy in bulk at the grocery store. Love the idea that we were able to share and not waste food we didn't get to use.

If you're even looking for options for just bear spray, they provide rentals for canisters as well. We got the best demonstration I've ever received of exactly how to use it if needed.

Amazing, friendly interactions with the staff and extremely reasonable rates for the quality gear and service I received. My baggage with my gear was delayed but I didn't want to miss out on my vacation plans, so I showed up at the door and they were able to get me set up with the backpacking bundle right away. They even customized the standard offerings for my trip (a mix of backcountry and car camping), which made my stay in the frontcountry much more pleasant. Every part of my experience with them made a stressful situation so much easier and I can't recommend them highly enough to anyone in a similar tough spot!

The perfect place to make sure you have everything you need for your camping adventure in the Canadian Rockies! The gear is top quality, the prices are quite reasonable and the packages are extremely well thought out. To top it all off, you can expect to be greeted with a smile, a lot of useful tips and maybe a spot discount! Amazing service.

Mark was super helpful and we actually asked to rent the tent for dates earlier than whats available on the website but he still agreed!
