Like many of you, having spent years, my human resources and money to find the "perfect" skin care routine, I found my self at the doorstep of ReNue. I had passed by several times and eve recommended the business to friends even thought I had never used their services before. Finally, the time came where I could visit and speak with someone. My initial consultation was booked with Kenna, she took the time to listen to me, she is very knowledgeable and this was very reassuring. What made the encounter perfect is that she was familiar with all the "TikTok" and "Instagram"' skincare that we have all tried. There was no judgement at all and at the end of the consultation, we had a plan. All I was looking for, was for a professional to listen to what I have to say and I found that at ReNue. I would also like to mention, I have been there three times and met three different receptionist and they are all AMAZING! Very warm and welcoming, informative and oh so positive. I will definitely recommend their services.

I had a great experience visiting ReNue Downtown. I had some hesitation coming in but everyone made me feel welcomed. The staff are all very kind and caring. They take their time getting to know you and your concerns and find solutions. The receptionist Jenny is always so informative about the treatments and products and has helped me make the decision to finally come in. I had treatments done by Shu and Kenna and they made me very more confident in my skin. Definitely will be coming back!

Had an excellent experience today with Dr. Shu at ReNue Clinic. I went in to get a mole removed on my right cheek.
I came into the office and she took me to the examination room right away, no need to wait. I filled out a form, then she discussed my mole and how the procedure would work, pros and cons, what to expect based on the type of mole I had, and made sure to answer any questions I had were answered.
Once I agreed to go through the procedure, I filled out a few more forms and she took me to the operating room right away. She took pictures, had me lay down on the bed, cleaned the area, numbed it, then explained how the laser would be loud but I wouldn't feel a thing. She gave a quick example of what it would sound like and asked if I was ok with the sound. We proceeded, and she stopped every few seconds to make sure I was still doing well and told me if I needed a break to let her know. It was so quick, maybe 1-2minutes. She explained how to take care of the area and recommended what to get.
Overall I felt super safe and comfortable and zero pain other than the initial numbing which was a 2/10 for "pain".

Such a great experience and would recommend anyone to get it done, if needed.

I attended my 2 week follow up appointment at ReNue at Gulf Canada square where I was greeted by lovely front desk staff. They got me in very quickly and Dr. McLean was in the office with me right away, she also introduced me to the nurse she works with who was lovely and knowledgeable. The follow up appointment went well and there were no touch ups needed! I think that speaks to Dr. McLean’s expertise in knowing the exact right amount of product, and exactly where it needed to go for maximum effect but to still maintain expression and a natural look. The appointment was quick and painless and got some great product recommendations for skin care as well. I would return to both ReNue locations as it was a pleasant experience all around and Dr. McLean is the best at what she does!

I would like to say I have always had such a great experience since day one whether its from the clinic downtown or in Seton. I always feel so welcomed, reassured and confident. My RN Shu and Rachelle are simply the best and love them dearly. Being that I've only seen the girls three times so far it feels like I've known them forever. Absolute dolls. Shu is so gentle, knowledgeable and always strives for what is best for me. My questions are always answered and always leave extremely happy and confident. Rachelle is such a sweetheart, thoughtful and always so bubbly. These two may be my long lost sisters honesty. I've met other staff members and they're simply great as well. Highly recommend either downtown or Seton Renue locations. 6/5 stars for me. ;)

I went for laser removal of a mole. The whole process was so quick and easy, absolutely painless! Shu was absolutely wonderful, kind and efficient! Over all a very good experience, I would highly recommend Renue!

I recently had the pleasure of seeing Shu at Renue. She was simply amazing very gentle and made a huge impact with minor subtle changes. I had a filler treatment. She treated my cheeks, temples, under eye, and lips. Her magical skills made me look like a more youthful rested version of myself.

I’ve been here a few times over the years, due to convenience and ease of getting a quick appointment. However, on my last visit I received a botched Botox job. I am so heartbroken. Throughout my appointment Shu kept saying “oh yeah, you need it here.oh yeah that needs some love”, which I felt inconsiderate. I’m normally fairly happy with my appearance and went in for a little touch up to my forehead to prevent further wrinkles. I usually receive about twenty units and was given forty, with Shu justifying that I hadn’t been there in a while.

I received Botox injections in my forehead and cheeks and cannot open my eyes nor smile. She said AFTER the injections that I might feel tight for a couple of weeks.well that was probably not the time to mention that! My eyelids are severely droopy and I am getting migraines from the strain of trying to open them.

I’ve been receiving Botox regularly for 10 years now and this has never happened. I’m just devastated.

The team at ReNue are extremely helpful, accommodating and go above and beyond to look after their clients. They were able to move my appointment sooner, explained everything in detail, all while being super friendly. No worries either to attend the office during COVID, they have every protocol in place for safety. Thank you Dr. M and team.

I had been struggling with acne for a few years before seeing Dr. McWhirter and now my skin is clear thanks to him! He is honest and tells you his professional opinion. He told me there’s no point in doing laser for acne but that I needed to control it from the inside first. I did what he suggested and went on accutane for 3 months and birth control, and now my skin is so clear and I don’t have any more acne breakouts! I’m forever grateful, thank you so much Dr. McWhirter! I’ll be back for laser

She is truly awesome and so friendly, knowledgeable and will always guide you down the right path when it comes to preventative aging and skin health treatments! Highly recommend her! I had an excellent experience with this clinic. I needed a small procedure done as I am heading overseas in about a month, but Dr. McWhirter was completely booked for some time. The admin staff, Sandra, let me know that should the clinic have a cancellation and an available slot, that she could book me in. There happened to be a cancellation that very day, and I was booked a spot. I was in and out in 30 mins.

I drive 12 hours, one-way, to visit this clinic. That in itself speaks volumes about the type of service I receive. The professionalism of the staff is outstanding. I am always treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. If I could give more stars, I would. To anyone who has had an unpleasant experience at other establishments, please give ReNue one chance. That's all it will take and I guarantee that you will return. I always leave ReNue completely satisfied, but more importantly, I always have a giggle with the girls. If anyone is too shy to book an appointment, I promise you, no matter what the procedure, you will be astonished at how you are treated. Men, I especially encourage you to try this clinic. I suffer from chronic migraines and neck pain that also contributes to the migraines. I have so much tension and so many knots throughout my head, neck, shoulders, and back. I have had so many massages at different places to help with the pain, but none have had noticeable results. Erica, the massage therapist at ReNue, worked through all these knots and afterwards my neck and shoulders felt better. My husband, who normally massages my neck, noticed that it felt considerably and noticeably less tight. I would absolutely recommend!

I completely trust these ladies with making decisions for me. Shu is an expert injector and knows exactly how to make you look like nothing even happened! Her bedside manner is impeccable! I wouldn't trust anyone else.

I’ve been to the this clinic 4 times and have had great experiences with Botox and laser mole removal. The practitioner always provides reasonable advice and treatment is professional. I chose this clinic after perusing online. The only thing unexpected, for me, was that I had expected the initial appointment would have been with the listed physician. This is not the case- all of my services have been delivered by the RN, and I have never actually seen Dr. McWhirter at the downtown clinic. If you are new to the cosmetic world be aware when you book an appointment that you may not be seeing the dermatologist. With that said, I still recommend Renue because the RN is fully capable and has been able to address any concerns.

I have never been so happy with my results as I am now that I see Dr. McWhirter. The doctor that did my botox before always used over 40 units and it still never ended up being enough. When I went in for my first appointment, Dr. McWhirter did a thorough assessment and injected much differently than I had ever had before.

The result was 70.00 less than I normally pay for absolutely stunning results. I went in two weeks after for a follow up and ended up needing 2 extra units which they did not charge me for.

I also asked about what I could do for dark under-eye circles and Dr. McWhirter was honest and did not try to sell me on anything which I was pleasantly surprised. He really is one of the best in this field and Calgary is lucky to have such a skilled practitioner. Thank you to everyone at ReNue!
