Pros - Went there a few days ago. Like the guy, he was nice to talk to and straight forward.

Cons - Very expensive. Just to get you started, (Processing fees) basic fee is $189 + taxes, comes to about $203. If the data can be recovered without much work, you need to pay another $130ish. So total is about $300 plus. If they need to do more work, level 2, then its about $550. And if any part needs to be replaced, its $950 aprox. I mean. '$950'.

I had some issues with my flash drive, and always had get a "format" pop-up. I found this company off of a recommendation and I had one of the employees, Ken Rajah, take a look at my flash drive 2 days ago. They recovered nearly all my files! Would recommend people with data recovery issues to them. Quick, reliable, friendly, and price is relatively reasonable too!

Thank God going to Rescue Data Recovery Laboratory was a great idea. I had a laptop hard-drive that failed around 9 years ago, got it out of the laptop put it into an external casing. Tried to look for different solutions, one person suggested freezing it and that might work enough to extract the data, or dropping it on purpose might unjam it. However those solutions were ones that could have damaged the drive further beyond repair. So went the route of troubleshooting with Ubuntu, but the hard-drive was unresponsive. The platter would spin up no clicking sounds. Then, I eventually some years later took the risk of physically opening the hard-drive to see what was going on, the platter was spinning but the read write arms did not move. The issue was beyond what I could do for it, without risking damaging it further. So I had looked for data recovery shops, one computer company suggested sending it to Vancouver out of the city, but that recovery company quoted a very high price without a guarantee of course. In the city I wasn't sure if any professional reputable company existed that could do the recovery honestly. So I circled back to the computer shop I had contacted earlier, years later, they then suggested Rescue Data Recovery Laboratory and so had another tech person. I phoned, Ken picked up told me to come in during the week. Doing so, Ken greeted me and assured me they could do the job and quoted a very reasonable rate. Now I have data back after many years of just wondering where I should take the drive. Really appreciate the honest, hard work put in by their team. Ken was friendly and professional. Awesome job!

Ken was able to very quickly recover my missing folders, and because it was quick, he didn’t even charge us for it.
