Residential Leasing Group has been taking care of my property for over ten years now and the service has been great. Mine comes with the added complexity of expat management and so not only are the property managers great but the finance and tax team in the back really earn their salt.

For over five years we used RLG to manage our property in Calgary while We lived out of country. No property management firm could have done better. They worked with us to find good tenants, then when we had a bad one that did not take care of the property they worked with us on the dispute. Brad and Patty are the owners and I feel it is important to support local small business and they are great: professional with timely e reporting, working with owners to fix maintaining the property and working with our realtor to arrange a sale. We would highly recommend RLG.

The strangest thing- we have been looking for a place and contacting lots of landlords/agents. But Residential Leasing Group never returns calls. I think the owners who hired them would be furious if they knew that good tenants are calling, and RLG is leaving their calls unreturned while the unit sits empty.

Response to owner's response: actually we did hear back on our most recent enquiry, which we appreciate (have changed review to 3/5). It's been hectic looking at places, but for your information, as we remember it, the ones that we called about where we did not get a call back were a unit in Kensington Mews (a few weeks ago), and a unit in Providence in Kensington (also a few weeks ago). That's all I can say at this point, I hope it helps you determine where things are going wrong.

We’ve been renting the same place for nearly 3.5 years and RLG has always been very responsive with our maintenance needs! Very friendly people and easy to deal with!

We have leased a property from RLG for the last three years.
During that time they have been very supportive of us and our families needs, including making temporary accommodations for some unusual circumstances.
RLG have worked with the owners to make sure that everything that needing fixing got fixed promptly, including a full replacement of all the windows.
At all times RLG had been professional and courteous.

We have used RLG for the past three years. This company is extraordinarily professional, and we have been completely happy with their service. We receive reports on all financial transactions each month. The December report contains all the information we need for filing taxes. We have also have found the RLG team very helpful and responsive. As soon as we have a request-say, for a new lock or a dryer vent clean out- the team deals with it immediately. We have heard from well-informed sources about other rental leasing companies that are highly unreliable, but RLG has always been right there when we needed them. So kudos and many thanks! As the mom of two elite -level figure skaters who train part-time inCalgary, I was looking for a comfortable and clean home, in a great neighborhood. I looked for months on all the usual websites, and found very little. I also found that the environment of contacting landlords on certain websites led to situations where I felt pushed around and disrespected. Then I found RLG, and they immediately found us a lovely place to call home. The application process was professional, expedient, and fair. Upon move-in, the customer service continued, and every little issue was immediately attended to. Our year's lease is almost up, and they are even helping us with some of our move-out details, by offering to list some of the furnishings we no longer need with some of their contacts in the real estate industry! If you are looking for a place to rent and want to be treated with respect by a professional team, RLG is absolutely recommended!

Poor communication. Did not let me know about massive renovation project that took over 8 months to complete before signing lease. Took away visor parking, had windows sealed all summer, and blocked access to balcony. Advertised a BBQ and said because it wasn't in the lease they were not responsible. I would not recommend this company.
