The prescribing pharmacist working on shift on Sunday November 12,2023 at 1: 00pm was by far one of the most arrogant people I’ve ever dealt with. I wish I got his name but he wouldn’t give it to me, when I asked for it. I’ve been getting the same prescription filled since 2019 at this rexall with zero issues until now. He refused to refill my prescription he was extremely insensitive and very rude. Why do people get into the medical field, if they aren’t willing to help people. I could understand if my prescription was for opioids but they aren’t. However, he was treating me like an addict implying that I’m abusing the system and need to go back to a doctor and get a new prescription. I will NEVER use this Rexall again. The WORST customer service I’ve ever experienced!
By far the worst customer service experience I've had at a pharmacy. One of the staff was on the phone and the other on the computer. I had to say hello and wave them down after standing at the counter for over 5 minutes to get their attention. The pharmacist was more concerned about my medical condition than explaining the medication and it's side effects. The pharmacist was rude his breath smelled awful and he only filled half my prescription. I was prescribed 14 pills and I only received 7 which I didn't realize until I got home to take the medication. I had to return the next day after I realized I only had half the pills I was prescribed. The same pharmacist filled my prescription with his nonchalant attitude offering an empty apology. I have never bore witness to this level of incompetence at a pharmacy before.
Absolutely go somewhere else, or don't. As a monthly customer for the past four years I have had enough of the rude, disrespectful behavior of the turnover staff. There are much better options available in the neighborhood. Save yourself the headaches.
I've never experienced such a consistently incompetent pharmacy. Getting even the simplest request completed can sometimes take days, leaving you without meds or updates on what's going on, and not a single person there seems to know what they're doing. Save yourself the headache, and don't bring your prescriptions here.
Worst pharmacy ever! I've been going for over 15 years, and the last year, this pharmacy had only been problems. There's only 1 guy who knows what he's doing. Everyone else is lost. Don't recommend at all. RUN!
This pharmacy NEVER gets your prescriptions right. Total waste of time every single time. Plus you are left on hold for a super long time and they have the most annoying hold track, just the same 2 sentences over and over and over
This is our neighborhood drug store that we’ve been going to for years. We get most of our prescriptions from this store. We walked in today and were greeted with some highly offensive symbols/flags hanging from the ceiling and in the windows. If you want to cater to a particular niche market and decorate the store with pride flags and various iterations, that’s your choice. I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you’re reading this review, and find these symbols as offensive as I do, I would encourage you to take your business elsewhere as well. The service at this store is not so superior that I would be loyal. There are many other choices for drug stores within close proximity to Rexall
I wanted to edit my previous review but couldn’t. After leaving a bad review I decided to switch days for my pickup and the pharmacist who works Sunday mornings (a young Asian female) is so on the ball and knows exactly what she’s doing. She’s polite and super efficient and I trust her with my complicated profile. Please do what you can to keep her there
Service at this pharmacy is not the best. I had a prescription that I dropped off to get filled. The pharmacist had questions and tried to contact my doctor. I did not receive any updates until I contacted them. The prescription sat at this location, not filled for over a week. I finally decided to take it to another pharmacy just down the road. They had it filled by the next morning without any questions for the doctor.
Started going to this location 6 months ago when I moved nearby. Every time I refilled a prescription there was an issue. Every. Single. Time. Either not being filled at all, being filled 2 weeks later causing me to stop and start medications multiple times, not calling me when there was a shortage of my medication that they weren’t expecting for another month so I could get it elsewhere… Every single time it’s different staff working and they are always confused. Idk what’s going on at this pharmacy but I do not recommend going here.
I have been coming here every Saturday for years. It is a new person every Saturday who doesn’t know anything. Do you think they could prepare for this the night before. How hard is it to leave instructions? Worst managed pharmacy ever!
DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PHARMACY. Zero stars. I am picking up prescriptions for a palliative patient and have had problems with every prescription. They tell me they haven’t received it and today tried to give me the meds missing the majority of the pills (3 pills instead of 17 different pills). I phoned 2 days prior to make sure there would be no problems and was told yes they had the prescription and it would be ready for pickup Friday. Went in today and it was not ready. The girl told me to come back in the evening and to phone first next time. I told her I phoned on Wednesday. She responded that it is Friday all day. Rude and uncaring staff that appear not to know how to do their job and show no compassion for the customer.
This store is way overpriced on most of their items. I asked pharmacist if any children's Tylenol came in, I got a nope for an answer and that's it, just turned away and left it at that. I had my granddaughters prescription filled there once and the doseage was wrong. It's a good thing I caught it before giving it to a 3 month old.when I went to ask about it, I was told mistakes happen.wow.at whose expense? I will go the extra walk to Shoppers or Walmart from now on!
Everyone that works in the front of this store is amazing. Unfortunately the people that work in the pharmacy are constantly rude. I've had them try to give me the wrong prescription multiple times. Not the wrong one for me but a different person's prescription completely. Its very disappointing that people you have to trust with things like prescriptions are not trustworthy.
You can usually find whatever you need for medicine, beauty products. Limited food selection, lots of candy and magazines-oh and the pharmacy staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.only complaint of the non pharmacy part is the prices when items aren't on sale.
Nov. 29/2022,4 PM. Grabbed a few things and waited at the cashier.the cashier at that time dark hair lady. Gossiping away about the n customer that just left. They were done ringing the things then they just stood there while the rest of us in the line up all waiting. So 2 customers and I dropped our stuff and walked out.
Been using Rexall pharmacy for 20 years. I have found their service was always friendly, knowledgeable and quick. However, the pharmacy staff have changed. They seem very disorganized. I had a prescription faxed over ; called to see if it was ready and they apparently hadn't received it. My Dr. Showed me the confirmation it had been sent.and it was received 2 hours ago. Yet no one knew where it was. Saw many others in their frustrated by the terrible service as well. I think in the future I will be going to shoppers.
The main pharmacist here is compassionate and efficient, that’s hard to find these days! Some of the other staff seem new or maybe less focused on patient care. But the pharmacist himself is very helpful if you have questions or concerns.
