I attended the Harvest Festival in September they hosted. What a cool experience. I highly recommend visiting this museum during the festival or anytime.
Fantastic collection of cars and history of the battle to own the road among early car enthusiasts, learned there were electric cars made for women as far back as 1922! Lucky to land at the museum as they had a retrospective of 70s cars and memorabilia. Fantastic! ’
World class. Annual harvest festival is not to be missed. They needed ten acres of parking for visitors. (Most days are quiet) Steam tractors and threshers like you cannot imagine, all in action! Easy to navigate. Broad selection. Huge land area. Very nice souvenir shop and cafe.
Great place to visit and unbeknownst to me there is a seperate building for the aviation museum included. Great facility, clean, spacious, so expansive and great exhibits. Well worth the stop if traveling the Number 2.
The museum experience was interesting, informative and had interactive activities for all ages to enjoy. Very clean, well maintained facilities. The staff were pleasant and helpful and enhanced an already enjoyable experience. The restaurant on the premises was the downfall to achieving a 5 star rating. I would describe the food as overpriced and underwhelming. Pack your own food and it will be a five star outing!
I absolutely love coming here. I get to remember my early 20's. I find it very educational. My grandchildren enjoy it as well. They like the wedge game they get to unlock. I has company this summer who really enjoyed the museum as well.
Great facility. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good mix of "hands on" and "no touching" displays makes this a great place to visit for kids and adults alike.
We enjoyed the 70s exhibit. The cars and trucks were beautiful and the variety exhibited was extensive. The information was interesting and appealed to our entire group.
Love the Reynolds-Alberta Museum! Been here a couple times. First time to the aviation museum on site tho. Enjoyed all the warplanes and jets there. You can see them all up close and read all about them. So cool to see the new 70s addition to the museum as well. Very fun vibe! Enjoyed all the old classics here. You can even pay to learn to drive a Model T Ford! Also includes a tour of the grounds. Can’t wait to try that. Such a great way to spend an afternoon.
Went to the Reynolds museum, probably for the first time in 20 years, and it was nostalgic to say the least! The place looks like it hasn’t changed one bit since I was a kid. You would think 2 decades would have aged the place, but it still looks as brand new as when it first opened.
Well taken care of, and the volunteers working there are exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. My favourite part might have been the drive-in theatre, where they were showing old movie trailers from the 70’s.
Great for the parents as well as the kids. I would say it’s worth a stop in Wetaskiwin to tour and reminisce.
