Ribeye Butcher Shop, Erin Ridge

Gross, had the chicken strip and fries lunch special, chicken was raw (pink inside) burnt to a crisp outside… Not safe for consumption… Shame on you Ribeye……Will not return!

Had the burger and dirty fries, looked good but was on the plain Jane flavour scale, the secret sauce was nothing to write home about. Bit pricey and I was not impressed.

This is a good premium butcher shop with very good quality products from aaa meats, good sausage and delicious sauces as well as lasagna, shepherds pie, perogies and soups. The wagyu and hamburgers are all star. It costs a little more than supermarket meat but quality is top notch.
Edit there are locations at terralosa, windermere, manning crossing and sherwood park as well.

Sat down and enjoyed a burger while eyeballing my weekend feast!

Before I get into low score - the good: Great storefront, nice enough staff (a bit standoffish but whatever) and lots of delicious stuff. The bad: I got two ribeyes - total for two steaks was $84. This is insane - $42 steak. Was the steak good? Sure. Was it 2x better than a steak from Sobeys or Safeway? No. Next, I went with the steak lovers box (comes with 2x ribeyes, 2x strips, 2x sirloin, 2x tenderloin and 8 "free" burgers) for $133. On paper I figured it sounded like a good deal - with the burgers, works out to $13 a steak. Problem is all the steaks are tiny - I am not being dramatic for effect here, all of the steaks were thin and small. I don't know, I wanted to love this place. On the trend of "small" the burgers they put in the box are not the same as the burgers they sell in the case - about 30% smaller. To be honest - on the steak lovers box, I would rather them crank the price up to $200 and have normal sized steaks.

I stopped in to see the new shop. I was very impressed with the top shelf meat that was laid out in a boutique-style display. I had a double Smash Burger with bacon and fries. It was the best tasting burger that I have had in a while. St. Albert has stepped up their game in the last 2 years. Great job, I will be back.

Heard they make you a burger. Went in for a burger but missed that they close their grills off at 6: 30 pm. I asked for a burger at 6: 34 pm. Place looks nice but I'm scared of the meat prices. Yikes. I bought nothing. People eating burgers looked unimpressed.

I went in for thin sliced roast for my pho soup. Being only open for 2 days did not have yet. So I bought ribeye.
A wide variety of items and they cook and serve "Smash Burger" in-store as well sell a small about of liquor.
